Question from Panzercrisis

Why won't sermons, museum tours, etc. occur at their proper times?

I've noticed a few sequences in Fallout 3 that the player is supposed to be able to attend that are scheduled for set times and dates. This includes sermons at Saint Monica's Church, tours at the Museum of Dave, and the "one-time event" (avoiding a tiny sub-plot spoiler) in Rivet City. But any time I have my character show up at the proper day and time for either of these, nothing happens. At the "one-time event", everyone seemed to show up just fine, but nothing happened. Again this is an issue with all three. Please help. Thanks.

If you enter the cell and just wait around without actually using the wait feature, that may be why. Otherwise it's probably a glitch.

The times listed are usually mean when the characters are programmed to start moving toward the sequence point and the sequence doesnt begin until all actors arrive. Many of these actors have trouble finding there way and the whole process is delayed. There are also occasional, random bugs where the sequence just doesn't start. Nothing you can do.
