Condition:   Cleared the stage with no damage taken.

Strategy:

   This stage is easy, you can take advantage of their Slow Feet status. You
can acquire the Item by repeatedly grappling them or by Ring Out.

   There are times they attack, Helerides is using Astaroth style so he've got
a wide range of attack so be careful not to get hit but most often, he doesn't
move too much.


Floor 2 ---------------------------------------------------------------------F2

Strategy:

   Easier than the previous floor, you don't need to worry getting hit by your
opponent. Equip your character with a Nullify Ring Out skill to be safe. If
your opponent is near on the edge, try to back out and return to the center to
avoid accidentally knocking your opponent outside the ring.

   Use your character's attack throw three times. You can see an "AT" symbol in
the moves list. Normal throws like A+G and B+G won't work. Take note that not
all characters have attack throws. Hit or blocked, it doesn't matter, as long

Strategy:

   This is a bit hard. Your attacks should not miss.

   Lizardman is fast and agile in here, he also tends to crawl down which
prevents him from taking damage with high and mid attacks. He also got two full
bars of life making it more difficult to knock him out in a square fight.
Lizardman also have a Nullify Ring Out A skill, even though he have it, he can
still be knocked out of the ring.

Strategy:

   Guard the opponent's attack 3 times in a row. Just hold down the guard
button and you'll eventually get the item.


Floor 10 -------------------------------------------------------------------F10

Floor Stage: Ice Coffin of the Sleeping Ancient
Stage Time:  150 Seconds

Item:        Silver Boots / 1,500 Gold
Hint:        "The best offense is a good defense."
Condition:   Guarded the opponent's attack 10 times in a row.

             - Hyper Mode
             - Nullify Ring Out A

Strategy:

   Much more harder than the previous floor. You'll be guarding 10 attacks in a
row. Cervantes doesn't attack much and just keeps on encircling you for a
while. Keep tapping and holding the guard button to prevent side and back
attacks.

   Factors that makes this mission hard are; Cervantes randomly attacks in low
areas and knows how to grapple which breaks the guard count. He doesn't attack
too much which wastes a lot of your limited time. If you got a fast eye and
reflexes, you should be able to guard Cervantes' basic down + attack. There are
times he uses Critical Finish too.

   Customize a character with a high HP and/or defense, equip him/her with a
Soul Gauge Recovery and a Soul Gauge Boost. If your Soul Gauge is flashing red,
attack Cervantes to regain some Soul Gauge or switch with your other character.
Equip them with an Auto Grapple Break too if possible.

   When he's encircling you, he's closing at you bit by bit. Try to stay away
from him and keep a ranged distance to prevent him from throwing you. This
mission doesn't require 10 consecutive guards for one character, you can switch
character and continue guarding.

   When your character(s) got a low HP and/or time, finish off Cervantes. At
least, you'll get an additional gold than keeping on-guard and get knocked out.
You'll eventually get the item by luck.

Condition:   Defeated all enemies with Critical Finish.

Strategy:

   Execute a Critical Finish with your every opponent. If you missed one, you
won't get the item.

   To execute a Critical Finish, keep on attacking a blocking opponent.
Preferably, use attacks with Guard Break properties. When your opponent's life
bar is flashing red, their guard is nearly crushed, keep on attacking until
his/her guard breaks (not necessarily the armor), you'll see your opponent and
his/her soul gauge surrounded by a reddish electricity/cloud. You have a split
second to press the Left shoulder button (by default or A+B+K+G) to execute a
Critical Finish.

   Trim your opponent's HP to a "one hit KO" if possible and stay away for a
while. Gauge the time and attack your opponent. Equip your character with a

Horizontal.

   You may not succeed in the first few tries, just measure your attacks and
keep trying.

Shave Damage A, Hysterical Strength and a Strengthen Vertical and/or Strengthen
Horizontal.

Strategy:

   Customize your character with an Invisible skill equipped. You don't need to
use the skill.

   If you do not wish to create a custom character, you can use Kilik and Taki.
They have an Invisible skill equipped by default.

   In this floor, Astaroth is equipped with Invisible S skill meaning he won't
turn visible back. Try using characters with long range or combos you're
familiar with. Equip an HP Drain skill and keep your distance from him. Your
only hints are the camera (zooming out/in tells you if he's far or close), the
trail of light his weapon leaves (which means he's already attacking) and his
voice, if he gets knocked down, don't blindly attack, wait for him to "grunt"
or create a noise which means he just stood up.

Strategy:

   An almost impossible mission. Customize your character with a high HP and
defense, you'll be blindly catching a lot of attacks from them. Add an Auto
Unblockable Attack A too if possible so there's a chance that your attacks
may hit them, this skill also affects your throws/grabs.

   From the very start of the stage, Hilde often turns invisible. All three of
your opponents will turn invisible if you're idle or open for a little amount
of time and if you got knocked down flat on the ground.

   Try to run through and spam them with throws. Hilde doesn't attack much, if
she didn't turn invisible at the start of the duel, you can spam her with
throws. Setsuka may be idle/blocking from time to time but she's the average
fighter in this stage. For zasalamel, if you're lucky enough, you can take him
down with all throws. Just use a throw that doesn't hurl him too far.

   You can Ring Out Hilde and Setsuka using Siegfried's Over Head Toss
(B+G while crouching) and The Apprientice's Force Impact (B+G) but it won't
work against Zasalamel, he's equipped with a Nullify Ring Out S.

   If they turn invisible, run through them and estimate your distance, then
perform a throw. Most of the time, if they got knocked out, your hint is the
sound. When they're standing back up on their feet, you'll hear their voices,
that's the time you can execute another move. For their location, you can see
the dust clouds on the ground but that's when they fall only.

   You have a little hint with Zasalamel's location if he turned invisible. His
golden eye leaves a trail of light. But since he's the boss, he attacks too
much, you've got a high chance that your attacks will be countered.

   Take note that even "missed throws" are counted as a miss so be careful
when spamming throw attacks. Attacks that are blocked by the enemy are
considered as a hit, I'm not sure if impacts, and grapple breaks are considered
as a miss.

   If you just wanted to clear this stage, you can use The Apprientice's Force
Lightning (Hold back A+B). Just stay on the far edge of the stage and spam the
Force Lightning move. There are times that your opponents are not advancing.
You can also get a lot of miss, your opponent side steps too from time to time.

Strategy:

   The easiest way to execute a 10 hit combo is by using Amy's Stoccata Rampage

   You can easily beat Flora, she doesn't attack much. For Alberic, he's an
average fighter. Balduin is a tough one, he blocks a lot and often counter
attacks, he uses a low strike counter attack if he's crouching.

the most agile in this group so you should get rid of him quickly.

   Amy has a tough defense and blocks a lot so Guard Crushing her would be

Strategy:

   Clear this stage with no equipped skill for all of your characters.
Mitsurugi and cervantes are the hard hitters in this group. Use a character
with a long range or a quick drawing weapon character to interrupt them.
Setsuka prefers to block more so you can spam her with throw moves.

   It would be better if you can completely dodge their attack, just don't get
caught with their moves, specially those with Guard Break properties because
after they've executed it, they can switch 2 to 3 times creating chain of
combos. Even if you're blocking, they'll still continue with the combos, you
can get hit in the process.

   Try a customized Astaroth or Ashlotte with a maximum attack possible. Equip
a Strengthen Vertical skill too. Spam and time your Discus Breaker on Mitsurugi
and Cervantes, they catch most of your attacks. Spamming Discus breaker with
Setsuka might not work too well since she often blocks, just throw her when you
get the chance.

Strategy:

   A very hard mission. All three of your opponents are equipped with Soul
Gauge Damage and a Shave Damage skills, your HP and Soul Gauge meter will be
quickly depleted.

   Just keep on guarding, get familiar with their moves so you can dogde lower
attacks too. Create a character with a high HP and defense, equip you character 
with Soul Gauge Boost skill. Stay with some range to prevent throws.

   If you're out of time and/or HP, finish off your opponents if possible so
you'd get the reward money for completing the stage.

   If you just want to finish this level, attack Tira the usual way you use
your character. She's an average fighter in this group. You can spam Astaroth
with throws, just stay away when he attacks. Nightmare is very powerful but is
slow, you can interrupt him a lot of times, just don't get hit with his
attacks, you can get KO'd in a few hits.


Floor 60 -------------------------------------------------------------------F60

Floor Group: 60
Floor Stage: Tower of Remembrance ~ Degeneration
Stage Time:  250 Seconds

Item:        Voodoo Breastplate
Hint:        "Do not escape, hide, or seek protection."
Condition:   Cleared the stage without switching characters.

Enemies:     Algol [Boss]
             - Auto Unblockable Attack S
             - HP Drain S
             - Soul Gauge Boost S
             - Nullify Ring Out S

Strategy:

   An easy victory would be going on the edge of the ring and let Algol knock
you down flat on the ground. Don't stand back up and keep on lying down,
Algol will continue to attack you and eventually, he'll jump over you and
will ring himself out. There are times that he won't jump and just continue
on attacking your character until you get KO'd so be patient. When your
character got moved away from the edge, just try to roll back or let Algol
knockyou down again near the edge.

   That trick above might not be applicable to all so you might be facing Algol
the hard way.

   Use your best character or a long-ranged fighter against Algol. Don't let
him hit you. His HP Drain S makes him recover his HP with an amount a little
less than the damage he dealt on you. You'll still get the item even if your
first and second character got KO'd by Algol, as long as you didn't switch them
yourself.

   You can use a customized Astaroth or Ashlotte with a strong offense/defense
and equipped with a Venom Fang if possible. You can repeatedly use Discus
Breaker (down-back, Hold A, B) while maintaining your defense. You'll
eventually crush Algol's lower armor. Be careful with Discus Breaker since it
has a slow initial animation and its damage won't be as huge against Boss
Algol. Most of Astaroth and Ashlotte's moves are slow so just time your attacks
and combos. If you're lucky enough, you can reduce Algol's %200 HP to less than
%100 for one Astaroth/Ashlotte.

IV.  Floors - Descending                                                  [FLD]

   Choosing the Descending Path in Tower of Lost Souls, you'll be starting from
the first floor and proceed to the next floor continuously. You'll battle
random opponents from different floors in the Ascending Path. You'll also get
to battle cat mascots with joke weapons on these floors and win a certain item.

   You'll be only using two characters. HP is important in this survival mode
so equip them with HP Drain A. Ring Out your opponents if possible.

Q: Why do I get Gold as a reward instead of an item?
A: It means you already acquired the item.

Q: Why is there a "Male/Female" indicating an opponent's gender?
A: This might be helpful for those who uses the Appeal skill.

Q: What is a Slide Input?
A: It's where you press a button and quickly tapping on the next button. You
   "slide" your finger on your controller for easy execution.

Q: I still can't Ring Out my opponent. What shall I do?
A: You might want to try another move, experiment. Try using another character
   too. The sample moves listed in this guide can mostly ring out opponents
   with a Nullify Ring Out C & B skills. For opponents with a Nullify Ring Out
   A skill, throws, attack throws and moves with a high knockdown power can
   ring them out. Since it's a class A skill, it works fine if you can corner
   them on the edge of the ring.

Q: I'm using Yun-Seong's Avenging Claws but there are times that the opponent
   gets guard crush from the first hit. How can I do a Critical Finish then?
A: Watch your opponent's guard carefully, if they got Guard Crushed on
   Yun-Seong's Avenging Claws in the first hit, quickly switch your character
   and hit the left shoulder button. Switching characters should interrupt
   Avenging Claws and your second character should do the Critical Finish.
   You have to be fast, you only got a split second to do a Critical Finish. If
   you only have one character in gameplay, moderate your attacks when your
   opponent's Soul Gauge is flashing red. Try to attack one by one, bit by bit,
   you'll never know when your opponent's guard will give in.

Q: I still can't finish/acquire the item on this stage. What do I do?
A: Try and try until you get it. You can't always finish the stage or acquire
   the item in one try, sometimes it'll take you a lot of practice too until
   you get a hang of it.
