2. Umm The Best way to Achievement Hunt (which is what im guessing your doing) is to Use the strategy in the Scenario Beta Centuri to get all the Great People on Chieftain... Since you have alot of turns once you are at Future tech 12 or so your cities are on steriods and should produce production like nothing.

If you mean in a game what i try and do is find a place with hills and Mountains then build a citiy there and try and get the workshop, iron mine, and factory to max out my production.

3. Use the Americans. Build a good production city. Build all appropriate buildings (workshop, iron mine). Once in the Modern Era, build a factory. This will triple the production in the city. If that's not enough, and it might not be, then switch to communism.

5. 1.) Play Americans
2.) Place a city near as many mountains/hills/Oak, Iron, and Coal resources as you can and grow it. Build the following buildings in it: Courthouse, Workshop Iron Mine, Factory.
3.) Swap to Communism govt.
4.) ?????????
5.) profit

Or do the exact same thing but with the Mongols if there are a LOT of mountains near one city. Mongols can almost match the Americans but only with mountain tiles exclusively (they can produce up to 21 hammers per mountain compared to the Americans' 22.5), while the Americans have 200% more production from any source with a factory, instead of the normal 100% more everybody else has.
