Go to the vending machines where you buy stuff and hit the right bumper here, you'll see all your stuff and you can pick what you want to sell.

Answer

When you go to one of the three vending machines (white= medical/shields (and is also the first one you interact with), green = ammo/ammo upgrade and red = weapons) you simply press right bumper when you see the list of items to buy and it should switch you to the sell option.
