Due to the need of having good equipment and because of the lack of any 
useful information on how to obtain it, I decided to prepare this FAQ to help
you maximise the most important statistics.

                            1. Intro to Equipment FAQ

I would like to introduce my suggestions for different sets of equipment.
I believe that DEF is the most important aspect of the game. Every little
improvement in this element helps a lot. ATK is the second most important
aspect, and HP is the third. INT isn't that useful most of the time in my
humble opinion, but I also created some equipment focused on symbology damage.

I've found GRD and HIT irrelevant. As a matter of fact, I think that high GRD
can just slow down killing enemies. With high DEF you take close to 0 damage,
so it's better to keep attacking and taking tiny bit of damage than waste time
blocking. The same goes for Energy Shield Skill.
This is of course just an opinion, not an indisputable fact.
This guide is for x360 but can also be used for ps3 with few changes.

                        2. Preparation and explanation
===============================================================================
Before we start making any equipment, we need to make some preparations.

We will need tons of Magical Clays that can be stolen from skeletons in 
the 7SD. 
I've suggested stealing equipment as well to make farming process quicker.
You will also need tons of Monster Jewels and FOL to buy things from
Santa Maria Shop in Wandering Dungeon. 

You will need loads of Tri-Emblems, Conqueror Scythes "Asura Vajra" and Battle
Armours "God of Hellfire". Binding Sword is also useful as a base for factors
before transferring into a chosen weapon. Sky Sword can be useful for 
INT boosting.

Tri-Emblem gives the biggest total statistics boost in the game. However,
it's not the best for DEF boosting. Ashley Bernnbeldt Jewel gives 30% bigger
DEF boost and Conqueror Scythe even bigger when synthesised into an armour.
So we won't use Tri-Emblems as often as one would expect.
Battle Armour is the only item that can boost weapon DEF significantly.
It comes at a high cost but sometimes it's worth the price.

In most cases, we will need to use all Synth Limits available for the
equipment. Not to waste any, I suggest to put the chosen factor on another
piece of kit, maximise all resistances (if possible) and then transfer to the
selected one for a cost of one Synth Limit.

Battle Armour is usually a good base for armour and accessory factors, and
Binding Sword for weapon factors. Stallion Snaps is also good for carrying
accessories-only factors.

Anti-Paralysis Amulet used in my FAQ is only an example. You can use any
4 Synth Limit accessories of your choice. Anti-Stun can be useful against
the Queen for example.

There is also 1 golden rule:
Don't use the last copy of an item. Always duplicate before using.

Let's roll...

                         a. Creating Resistances Booster
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I call it an item that has 20 resistances to all elements. It's usually a cheap
piece of armour with lots of Synth Limits. Any default armour is good as it has
16 slots and costs 1 Clay to duplicate.
I personally like SRF armour as it is the very first on the armour list.

To make one, you will need few monster jewels with high elemental defence.
Prehistoric Psynard Jewel or Arch Spellmaster Jewel is a good choice.
The second one is also very useful for huge INT boost.

Now make approx. 4 jewels and synthesise into an armour.
Duplicate the armour.
Synthesise the new one into the duplicated one.
Duplicate again.
Repeat until all resistances reach 20.
Make loads of copies.

You can also synthesise a few of them into Tri-Emblems. 
You need two boosters per one Tri-Emblem. New emblems can now boost all
elemental resistances. Very useful.

If an item costs more than 1 Clay to duplicate, then it is worth to transfer
the factor into a cheap and empty weapon or armour with lots of Synth Limits,
and duplicate it for less.

Collecting some factors requires using the overflow trick.
To make it simple, I will give an example of getting “+ 40% FOL” factor:
Synthesise 2 Sacrificial Dolls into a third one and Mille-feuille as
a fourth one. Synthesise customised Sacrificial Dolls into a weapon and you get
a single factor without the useless ones.

This is a very simple and strong set-up before you go to Wandering Dungeon. 
It should give you ATK, DEF and HP close to maximum. It will also give you
all elemental resistances. It will make the game a lot easier from now on.

Use Ashley Bernnbeldt Jewels to boost statistics. Around 40 of them.
You will also need tons of Magical Clays to make copies for everybody.

Accessories are filled up by Ashley Bernnbeldt Jewels.
Armour is filled up by Conqueror Scythe.
To make accessories factors:
Synth 1 Stallion Snaps into another.
Add Tri-Emblem. Add two Resistance boosters.

You should get Max DEF, ATK and HP. 
You will also be in constant rush with these factors. It means higher damage
and no need for No Guard skill. These gives you a possibility to use 3x Dragon
Roar, which leads to amazing damage.
I also suggest to use Pride skill. As far as I know, it can boost your DEF even
further to the crazy 14 999.
With this setup, you can stay in front of Ethereal Queen and keep chaining
Dragon Roars. If you taunt her as well, she shouldn't cast Supernova, which
will make this fight super easy.

With this equipment it's possible to use 5x XClaws and kill faster than Arumat
if you collect all her BTs. Against regular monsters, Drill Spike works better.
She can make a good use of Beat S.

INFO: This one is more complicated and can be easily missed if not
done properly. It also requires loads of Santa's stuff.
Prepare a weapon with 4 chosen factors and 3 armours with these factors.
Max all resistances on armours. Synthesise correct factors into a Laser Weapon.
Add 10 Battle Armours and 5 Divine Wands to the weapon.
Fill up Tri-Emblum with 7 Tri-Emblems and neck accessories with Ashley
Bernnbeldt Jewels. Use 15 Conquerors Scythe's on Laser Suit.

It gives me max DEF, INT an HP for all three casters.

You can also trade one Maximum HP +10% for Rush Gauge charge rate +3 and use
HP Boost skill. I don't recommend Energy Shield. It will often interrupt
casting spells rather than help you.

INFO: Focus on INT when boosting his stats.
Use Divine Wands on Weapon for high INT boost. Tri-Emblems are also good for
boosting accessories. Use 7 Conqueror Scythes on Armour. You should get
maximum INT, HP and DEF. 
To make his amulet, transfer Arch Spellmaster Jewel into a weapon first and
then into the amulet. After that add Tri-Emblems with maximum resistances. 

This is a design for max damage. 55 Grigori kills take time and it's really 
worth not to waste any. With these weapons, all free Grigories can be killed
in seconds.

Faize needs two weapons. Ice Needless is usually his most powerful attack, so
R01 version is good to boost water damage. Unfortunately, Barachiel absorbs
water. With R02 version you can do 99 999 damage if you chain Earth Glaive on
to his weak point.

Alternatively you can create a weapon with “Shots blasts of mystic energy”
and/or HP Damage + 35%. In that case you can use a copy of Edge's equipment.

Run away from standard battles as it also counts to his 3000 fights trophy.

Info: Use Conqueror Scythe to boost ATK on the Laser Weapon. It should give
over 6000ATK just from that. I wasn't able to maximise defense on this setup,
so you may need to use Sarah's support symbology on Lymle.

Killing Ethereal Queen in 10 minutes by Lymle is considered as one of the most
difficult Battle Trophies in the game. A popular tactic advises using Hound
Granades. However, lots of people found her regular long range attack more
powerful and this weapon is designed for this tactic. 

I've done this trophy on 6-winged form on Earth. Memory Plate shows that she
died in 4:00 and I know it can be improved. So don't worry if you fail on her
first form. Just go down two floors and she will be waiting in the same room 
to be slaughtered. I used Meracle's 5xXClaws on Beat:S after Blindside. Arumat
and Reimi were helping me to juggle her and take HP of her very quickly.
At the end I used fainting potion on Meracle and switched Reimi to Lymle.

Addition: A guy using nickname ionenwks on GameFAQs board get the trophy on
Chaos difficulty using similar equipment. This impressive achievement shows how
good this tactic is.

This is a bonus one. Designed for few trophies in the game.

Lymle close range attack does 3 hits. It gives 12 with the factors from this
set up. Rush Guage fills up quickly to get access to rush status and No Guard.
Good place to put status on enemies is Colosseum and the first few fights. 
Sweet Hornies is a good fight with lots of enemies.
This way you can get all "Kill 100 [status] enemies” very quickly.
Use Ethereal Queen Jewels or 2x ATK -60% to lower ATK to 0.
