Where can I find (adamantite)?

I know you can buy it, but does anyone know any other places to obtain the item?

Well that is a bunch of bull lol, guess im not going to use the axis blade after all =(

It becomes available VERY late in the game through "R&D Depot" for 220,000 GIL.
Ive got the "Official Guide" and it says you can only buy it.
