Where can I find dark matter?

How do i obtain dark matter without buying it

There is only one other way, you need to do mission 63 then there will spawn a new kind of adamantoises. Kill the small ones and they have a 5% drop rate (without any catalog)

Once you complete mark mission 51 the L'ce Titan will replace the Adamantoise with the Long Gui and repalce the Adamanchelid with the Shaolang Gui. The Shaolong Gui (no armor or chains) has a 5% chance of dropping it and can be increased if you equip your party leader with the Connoisseur Catalog.

You can also buy it for about 100000 Gil at a shop you recieve after completing mission 7

Dark matter cost you 800000 gil but it is easier than killing tough enemies like the long gui etc
