And i can't find the vent that you're supposed to go through to get to her office.

OK, I don't have the game in front of me or anything, but I did this last night so . . .

There are a series of vents you have to take in the Boiler room/unused cells in the room before her office (it's to the left of her marked office on the pause menu map). From the entrance of this room, turn left into a main corridor, about halfway down this corridor to your right are to boilers, and to the left of those is a raised vent cover. Rip off this vent cover and move through the shaft to reach a small janitorial supply room next to an older, unused cell with a bunch of swirly writing around it (!), past this is another small room with another raised vent cover. Going through this vent will lead to a grating covered surface above the rest of the room. If you head to the spot above the large boilers there's another vent. Traverse through this one and it should take you to the larger office room with Young's office as an ante-chamber. There are some thugs here so take them out, and it should be relatively easy to get inside her actual office.

As for the notes, once you get into her actual office a detective mode search sequence will begin. Just figure that out and follow the trail, and it will lead you directly to the notes themselves.

Hope that helps without giving anything away.

To get into her office, u need to take the vent on the wall that is left of the ras' al gul body bag (acheivment). This outside her office with a kind of mini-morgue on one of the walls.

I was stuck here too, been looking all over the place and didn't get what I missed.

HERE'S THE ANSWER: The Finger Prints stop in the main room if you haven't killed all enemies there, you HAVE to kill every enemy (just block their attacks with Y and attack untill they are all dead) Then you can go trough a next door (on the lower floor in the main room) wich leads to the room with a big chandelier on the roof (you will mention it if you are in the right room, it's a round room with 3 floors.

Hope this helps

Kill all the mobs, then go to the highest floor, go trough a vent (keep going trough vents; look for them carefully) untill you are above the chandelier: cut the rope of the chandelier and by that you can save the guards

I did the chandelier but no notes...I don't see any fingerprints either. I have literally gone up to every book on every level and scanned it....I dunno what's up with it. Maybe a glitch because I didn't follow any finger prints?

I have seen a lot of different answers/suggestions/solutions regarding Dr. Young's notes but you know, I am still stumped. From what I gather, Majority rules says that the notes are hidden in the books - in the library - in the Mansion. But what is not clarified is that were exactly is Dr. Young's Office. I see people say the West Wing Corridor or go through the Boiler but all the answers/suggestions DO NOT indicate what building that all of these entries to the office are in. Maybe it's just me so for s#@ts and giggles, i started a new game to see if maybe it was an oversight and maybe I just missed it/missed a clue. So i figured I can take another run at it and not miss her office this time, but I did again. I am under the assumtion that I need her office to scan for fingerprints then I have to go back to library to get notes. CAN SOMEBODY HELP!. I want to throw my game out of window i I can't do this. I have an X-Box

Go to the room when you knocked the chandelier down and saved the two people. Then you use detective mode and you will find the trace ends in a book. Hope this helps you.
