    ==============================================================================

    After the opening cinema, you will land on the beaches near your town. I
    suggest getting used to the controls here on the beach, as well as testing
    out some combos with your knife. Enter the village to the north and talk to
    some of the people here. Go north afterwards to spot a bunch of villagers
    running away. Follow where they ran away from to get ambushed by a horde of
    monsters!

    You will encounter two Archer Soldiers, a pair of Evil Rats, and an Ogre. The
    Ogre will stay in the back while the others confront you. Test out your
    combos: Flying Kick (jump, then press B to attack), Dash Attack (dash, then
    press B to attack), and some other basic moves by repeatedly pressing B.

    Once the Evil Rats and Archer Soldiers are dead, face off with the Ogre. I
    found it easiest to utilize a Flying Kick to knock him down, then get in his
    ugly face and slice him up. The Ogre's HP (as with all enemies) is located in
    the corner of the screen, so keep an eye on that.

    Once the enemies are defeated, Ali will meet up with his teacher. He suggests
    going to the castle to see if you're family is alright. Press B next to the
    chest on the right to open it, then press B again to obtain some Cheese. Exit
    the house and leave the village through the western exit.

    You'll encounter some Soldier and Evil Rats here, but they are nothing to
    really worry about. Defeat them and proceed to the southwest end of the
    screen, then head to the next area. There are some Snakes here in the next
    area, but they are also very weak. The only problem is that they're hard to
    hit (since they're so small). Follow the dirt road to the entrance to the
    castle town. Go north up the staircase and into the castle.

    Go to the right side of the castle and climb the staircase to reach the upper
    balcony. Cross the walkway, then go up the next set of stairs to the left.
    You will reach the chamber of the king and princess (your dad and sister).
    Meet up with them and speak with your father. He says the Gold Armlet that Ali
    found in the cave is the reason why the monsters are acting so crazy. He
    suggests that you go to the Water Shrine and awaken the sleeping Spirit. He
    will then give you the key to the Water Shrine.

    Exit the throne room via the southern exit to reach the castle rooftop. You
    can jump off of the ledge to reach the bottom of the castle. We can get some
    stuff inside the castle, so lets do that. Enter the castle and instead of
    taking the stairs on the right side, go through the doorway on the left side.
    Open the treasure chests here for a Fish, an Orange, a Bow, and a Sword.
    Nice! Now you can exit the castle.

     NOTE: Here's a small note about weapons you find. You have limited supply of
           the weapons you find. When you open the menu and select "Weapons", you
           can choose to equip a weapon. There is a number under each weapon you
           find. The knife has an unlimited supply, but the Bow, for example, only
           has a set amount of ammo. Once you use it up, then the Bow disappears
           from your inventory. Same with Swords and other weapons, except you can
           only hit an enemy a certain amount of times. I suggest saving weapons
           for an extremely challenging situation.

    Alright, back to the walkthrough. Your father said that the Water Shrine is
    east of the village. Well, head back to the village at the start of the game.
    Exit the town through the eastern exit to reach another field. Defeat the
    Soldiers and Snakes here, then walk down the trail to reach a wooden
    staircase. Ascend the stairs, defeat the Archer Soldier, and head east.

    Defeat the Soldier and continue east, then go down the stairs to find a
    campfire filled with Evil Rats. Defeat them all and go south for some more
    rodent enemies. Kill them all and climb the stairs, then go west, defeating
    the Soldiers and Spear Soldiers along the way. Go north across the stone
    walkway to reach the Water Shrine. Walk into the red door to open it, save
    your game, then proceed inside.

    ==============================================================================
     WATER SHRINE                                                           [0302]
    ==============================================================================

    At the start of the dungeon, open the chest in front of you for a Small Key,
    then go through the door. You'll be attacked by a pair of Archer Soldiers, so
    get out of the way and attack them from behind. Open the red door in front of
    you.

    Defeat the two Spear Soldiers in here and inspect the two streams on both
    sides of you. Step onto the stream of water to the left and crouch down (hold
    C) to enter a small chamber. Open the chest here for a Sword, then exit. Do
    the same with the water stream on the right, except you will find an Elixir
    inside.

    Return to the previous room and climb the steps. Take out the Archer Soldier
    and the Ogre on the balcony; the latter will drop a Small Key. Walk to the
    right and defeat the Swordsman, then head south down the narrow walkway for a
    chest. Open it for a Sword, then go north through the door to the next room.

    This next room is filled with Red Gels and Blue Gels. Ignore the whole slew
    of enemies and go north to find a door. There should be a lone Red Gel in the
    northwest corner of the room. Yes, this one ALWAYS has a Small Key. Defeat it
    to get a Small Key, then head through the door.

    In this large passage, a giant wave of water will come crashing from the
    northern end. If you get hit, Ali will end up getting washed to the far end
    of the passage. To avoid the wave, simply jump over it. Jump over the series
    of waves and go through the door to reach the boss room. Yeah, already. You'll
    find the body of... something on the ground, but it's not moving. Walk past it
    and try to exit the room to have the giant monster come to life!

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Spider Crab
    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

     The Spider Crab is armed with a massive claw that can be dispatched apart
     from its entire body. The large crab will use its claw to attack you from a
     distance. Avoid the claw as it extends towards you; either dash or jump out
     of the way. It will also shoot small bubbles out of its mouth, but they pop
     after travelling in the air. Either slash them or keep your distance. The
     Spider Crab will also jump in the air, then come crashing down. Simply avoid
     the shadow to prevent from getting squashed.

     Make sure to take out the Spider Crab's claw immediately. This annoying
     appendage tries to pick you up and throw you against a wall, which is its
     most annoying attack. You should have some Swords with you, so equip one and
     use it against the claw. Remember to also use healing items, such as Cheese
     and Fish, to regain any lost HP.

     When the claw is destroyed, the Spider Crab will use one new attack. It will
     now spray multiple bubbles in your direction, making it much harder to dodge.
     Continue healing when needed and now focus on the face. When you see its
     mouth open, jump out of the way of the incoming bubbles. Repeatedly slash at
     the Spider Crab's face with your Swords to win the battle.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

    Once the Spider Crab is killed, go through the door at the north end of the
    room. A mysterious voice will ask Ali to use his Golden Armlet to open the
    door. Press A to fire a large beam at the door, opening it. Proceed through
    to awaken your first Spirit, Dytto.

    She has several attacks and spells at her disposal. If you tap the A button,
    Dytto can throw a bubble in the direction that you're facing (which can stun
    enemies). If you tap A twice, then Dytto can heal some of Ali's lost health.
    If you hold A, then Dytto will turn into a water tornado and attack all
    enemies onscreen. Press A, B, and C together to cancel a summon.

    With Dytto at your service, you will return to the entrance of the Water
    Shrine. That wasn't so bad for your first dungeon, right?

                                        ~ ~ ~

    The castle is your next destination, so head there. On the way, you can stop
    at the village and speak to your teacher to regain any lost HP. Return to the
    throne room and speak with your father. He tells you to go to the eastern
    waterfall to find the next shrine.

    -> BLUE GEM #1
       Exit the castle and leave the town the same way you came in. Go east to the
       next area, then proceed towards the east end to reach the bridge leading to
       your hometown. Walk north past the bridge to find a small rock hill leading
       down into the river. Climb down into the river, then crouch down onto the
       ground and pass under the bridge.

       Press the A button while aiming at one of the walls to summon Dytto. Then
       aim for the raging fire in the center and shoot a bubble at it to reveal a
       chest. Open the chest to find a Blue Gem. Gems will power up its designated
       Spirit (Blue ones power up Dytto) and your max SP (Spirit Points) will rise
       by 5. Pretty good find!

    Exit the bridge and climb up the stone steps. Go north and follow the path to
    a large waterfall. Climb down the steps and into the water, then approach the
    waterfall. Use Dytto's bubbles against the waterfall to make it disappear,
    revealing a large opening in the mountainside. Save your game and head into
    the second dungeon: the Waterfall Shrine.

    ==============================================================================
     WATERFALL SHRINE                                                       [0303]
    ==============================================================================

    Defeat the Bats and ignore the fish flopping around. After a while, the fish
    will die and you'll be able to take them as items. Take all three, then enter
    the next room. Defeat the Bats and the Black Gels that fall from the ceiling,
    then continue north. You'll see a flame jet on the right side of the wall;
    blocking a chest. Wait until the flames stop, then run and open the chest for
    a Small Key. Return to the other side and drop down the left side to the
    ground below.

    Defeat the Zombie to the left and climb the stairs. Open the chest to the
    left for an Apple, continue slaying Zombies, and go back down the stairs.

    -> BLUE GEM #2
       After defeating the Zombies in the chamber, go south to reach a fenced-in
       area from the previous room. Take out the Snakes and Bats here, then open
       the two chests. One holds an Apple, whereas the second chest contains the
       second Blue Gem.

    Return to the room with the Zombies and go up the stairs. Avoid the flames
    and open the treasure chest for a Fish, then inspect the northern wall.
    Crouch down and attack the darkened section of the wall to break it open,
    then crawl through. Open the chest inside for a Bow, then exit. Drop down and
    go through the door on the far left side of the room.

    An Ogre will drop down from above, so defeat it for a Small Key. Walk over to
    the round boulder to the right. Push it north, pausing to let the flame jets
    stop. Push it onto the green switch to activate a geyser to the left. Smash
    open the chest nearby for some Grapes, then shoot an armlet beam at the
    geyser to summon Dytto. Use her bubbles to extinguish the fire blocking the
    door, then proceed through.

    You will end up in a room filled with dark water that really slows you down.
    Avoid the Flame Chain that pursues you around the room and walk to the north
    end to find a small island with two green switches. Step on the one to the
    left to make a boulder appear below you. Push it onto the switch on the right
    to open the door.

    -> BLUE GEM #3
       In the waterlogged room, walk to the southwest end of the room to find a
       chest, which holds the third Blue Gem.

    Now that you have the Blue Gem, go through the newly opened door to reach the
    boss room. Damn, these dungeons are short! Walk north through the water. When
    you reach the door, a giant skull will pop out of the water.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Infernal Skull
    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

     This boss is much tougher than the last boss fight. In fact, this one is
     actually really hard. The Infernal Skull will poke its head above the surface
     before spitting out a Flame Chain, then going back under. Use your Knife or
     any Swords to slice apart the Flame Chains. If you fail to defeat the Flame
     Chain quickly, it'll progressively spit out more, and you'll be overwhelmed
     with enemies. That's the key to winning this battle.

     When the Infernal Skull sticks its head above the water, quickly run to the
     side or the back and start hacking away. It will spit the Flame Chain in
     front of its mouth, so you'll be safe if standing in the back or on either
     side of the head. When it goes underwater, defeat the Flame Chain and wait
     for the head to rise from the dark water again.

     After taking a nice amount of damage, the Infernal Skull will start to use
     its massive hands to attack you while you deal with the Flame Chains. Its
     hands will rise from the water and attempt to close on you. It's tough to
     move around in the water, but dash or jump out of the way. The hands have
     their own HP bar, but I wouldn't recommend taking them out. Keep bashing the
     Infernal Skull before it spits out another Flame Chain, and the battle will
     be over before you know it.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

    Go through the door once the fight is over and fire an armlet beam at the
    door. Go through to find Efreet, your newest Spirit. Efreet is a pretty
    badass looking Spirit. Tap A to have him spray a stream of fire from his
    mouth. Tap A twice to have Efreet turn into a fireball. Hold down A to have
    Efreet use his Rain of Flames attack, which causes him to shoot fireballs out
    of his entire body! Of course, press A, B, and C together to cancel a summon.

                                        ~ ~ ~

    -> RED GEM #1
       From the entrance to the Waterfall Shrine, go south and crawl underneath
       the bridge. With Efreet by your side, unleash a stream of fire on the big
       icicle in the center to find a chest. Open the treasure chest to find your
       first Red Gem.

    We have to stop at the castle again, but make a quick pit stop at your
    mentor's house to heal up first. Then head off to the castle - you should
    know where it is. Once at the castle, return to the throne room and get your
    orders from the king. He tells Ali to extinguish the group of nuisances
    northeast of the Water Shrine.

    From your home, go east until you reach a campfire accompanied by some Evil
    Mice. Defeat the enemies, then use the fire to summon Efreet. Have him destroy
    the icicle blocking the northern path and head to the next area. Head down the
    northeast path to reach a dead end. Slash the northern wall to destroy it and
    head inside.

    You will be inside of a large race track. Walk to the left to find a fire.
    Summon Efreet here to start The Efreet Race. You have to use Efreet's
    Fireball technique (double tap A) and guide him through the arrowed track.
    It's really hard, since you have to walk with Efreet in the central structure
    as he goes around. Here are the rankings for the race times:

     Rank 1: 00'00'0 - 01'09'9 (Prize: Infinite Fire Arrows)
     Rank 2: 01'10'0 - 01'19'9 (Prize: Red Gem)
     Rank 3: 01'20'0 - 01'29'9 (Prize: Efreet Call)
     Rank 4: 01'30'0 - 01'39'9 (Prize: Elixir)
     Rank 5: 01'40'0 - 01'59'9 (Prize: Cheese)

    -> RED GEM #2
       Earn a Rank 2 in the Efreet Race. To do so, you must finish the course with
       a time ranging from 01'10'0 to 01'19'9.

    If you fail to finish the race in two minutes, then you lose. No prize for
    you! All in all, the race is really hard, but I recommend practicing a lot to
    get the nice prizes (you don't lose SP during the race).

    Exit the racetrack and head back to the lake just before taking the path
    here. Summon Dytto using the lake and bring her to the right. Extinguish the
    fire in front of the steps, then climb them to the top. Defeat the Zombie and
    drop down to the lower ledge, then climb up another set of steps. Jump off of
    the northern end and continue north.

    Defeat the Spear Soldier and walk over the cliff to be ambushed by a Soldier
    and a Bomb Soldier. Defeat the Soldier, then ascend the nearby steps and
    defeat the Bomb Soldier. The entrance to the Northern Temple is right in
    front of you, so head on in.

    ==============================================================================
     NORTHERN TEMPLE                                                        [0304]
    ==============================================================================

    Go straight ahead and defeat the Soldier, then go to the right while avoiding
    the Archer Soldier from above. There is a Bomb Soldier on the ledge above
    you, so run away from his bombs and take out the Spear Soldier charging
    towards you. Go south, then walk up the steps and slay another Bomb Soldier.
    Climb up the steps, then walk to the left and climb down the first set of
    steps to reach a small platform. Slay the Bomb Soldier that was annoying you
    from before and open the chest for a Small Key.

    Go back up the stairs and head west, then south. Defeat the Archer Soldier
    and Spear Soldier, then ascend the next set of steps. There are two Archer
    Soldiers waiting for you, so utilize Jump Attacks to defeat them both. Kill
    the Swordsman behind them to find another Small Key, then open the door.
    Ignore the little plant thing and go through the door.

    -> BLUE GEM #4
       There are two Turrets that both shoot in a circle. One shoots bullets in a
       clockwise position, and the other fires in a counter-clockwise position.
       Run up to one and unleash a flurry of slashes to defeat it, then do the
       same with the second Turret. Once both Turrets are destroyed, a chest will
       fall to the ground. Open it for another Blue Gem.

    Now that the coast is clear, go through the green door. Kill the three Snakes
    in the room and walk over to the large boulder in the corner. Push it onto
    the green switch to open the door, but this also stops the geyser above. You
    don't need Dytto right now, so ignore the fact that the stream runs no more
    and enter the next room.

    This room is packed with enemies. As soon as you enter, run straight ahead to
    avoid two charging Spear Soldiers. Defeat them and the Swordsman that jumps
    down. Climb up the stairs and defeat the Archer Soldier and Bomb Soldier.
    Open the treasure chest for a Metal Bow and jump down to the lower level.
    Defeat the Ogre lurking in the right side of the room

    -> RED GEM #3
       Defeat the two Spear Soldiers, the Swordsman, the Archer Soldier, the Bomb
       Soldier, and the Ogre in this room to trigger a chest to fall to the middle
       ledge. Climb up the stairs and open it for a Red Gem.

    Now that you have the Red Gem, walk to the left side of the room. You'll find
    a switch behind a small stone wall. You cannot cross the wall, so equip a Bow
    and shoot the switch to open the door where the Ogre was. In the next room,
    there are three spears on the wall that constantly jut out in your way. Crawl
    under the trio of weapons and hit the switch to stop them. Descend the stairs
    and wipe out the room of all Snakes. Defeat the lone Archer Soldier as well,
    then proceed to the right.

    Large holes south of you will spit out giant boulders, so quickly run north.
    When there is a gap between rolling boulders, run to the right to avoid them.
    Go down the steps to encounter two Archer Soldiers and an Elite Knight. The
    Archer Soldiers can be dispatched quickly, so do so. The Elite Knight is one
    tough cookie, though. He wields a large mace that can be swung at you. He can
    also charge you if you're too far away. I found it easiest to use Bombs or
    Bows against him from a distance, then slash away with your Knife when he is
    at low enough health.

                                        ~ ~ ~

    Once all enemies are dead, Ali will jump onto a ship heading north. Climb the
    steps in front of you and open the chest for a Sword. Hit the top switch and
    summon Efreet using the torch on the wall. Descend the steps on the left to
    find a horde of Archer Soldiers, Swordsmen, and Spear Soldiers. They'll come
    out of the walls, so use Efreetís Fireball and Flame attack to deal with 'em.

    Continue south to find another Elite Knight. He should be no match for the
    two of you. Efreet's punches alone should do him in. Once they're defeated,
    open the chest for some Cheese and go up the staircase north of the chest.

    You will be on the deck of the boat, which is also filled with more soldiers.
    Head up the stairs to the left of the entrance to deal with the Soldier,
    Archer Soldier, and Swordsmen. Once they are defeated, go south and open the
    chest for a Rib. Jump down near the entrance and open the chest for a Bow,
    then go back up the stairs.

    Drop off of the ledge and continue north to find Silver Armlet, the (now)
    main antagonist of the game. He'll basically say that Ali is a chump and he
    doesn't have time to deal with the likes of you. With that said, he'll summon
    a Gargoyle and fly away. Afterwards, the Gargoyle returns with a friend of
    his to do battle.

    You'll have to fight two Gargoyles here on the ship. They aren't too tough.
    They can both shoot out small beams of energy that slowly travel towards you,
    so they can be easily dodged. When they swoop down to attack with their
    talons, hack them up. Repeat this process when they're low enough on the
    ground to defeat them. Once the coast is clear, Ali will pilot the ship
    towards the whereabouts of Silver Armlet.

    ==============================================================================
     BEACH CAVE                                                             [0305]
    ==============================================================================

    There's a chest containing an Apple on the far right side, so climb up the
    stairs, then descend the next staircase to the right to find it. Go back up
    the stairs and climb up the mountainside. Walk to the left and descend the
    stairs to find a chest with a Broad Sword inside. Go back up the steps and
    enter the cave.

    Climb the staircase to find a trio of switches to the right. Hit the switch
    on the left once and the switch on the right once to open a secret door next
    to you. A Pill Bug will drop to the ground, so defeat it and go through the
    secret passage.

    -> RED GEM #4
       You will find a Red Gem in one of the chests in the secret passage.

    -> BLUE GEM #5
       You will find a Blue Gem in one of the chests in the secret passage.

    The other two chests contain Meat and a Metal Bow, so grab them and exit the
    room. Head to the left and defeat the Purple Gel. Go south and defeat the
    next one, then push the boulder out of the way while avoiding the Bomb
    Soldier above. Climb the stairs and slay the pesky Bomb Soldier. Take out the
    Purple Gels and the Elite Knight up here as well. The central chest contains
    Bombs, so grab them. If you throw a Bomb on the green switch below, then a
    chest containing a Rib will drop down.

    Head to the southwest end of the room to find a chest on top of a ledge.
    However, a geyser is blocking the steps. Step on the switch, then run up the
    stairs before the geyser starts up again. Open the chest for a Small Key,
    then drop down. Walk to the left towards the icicle blocking the doorway.
    Three Bombs should destroy it, so use them and go through. Walk past the
    steps (another geyser is blocking it) to spot a Gargoyle. Kill him to trigger
    a boulder, which lands on the switch on the ledge. Guess what that does? It
    stops the geyser.

    Walk back towards the steps to find two Pill Bugs. Slay them, then climb up
    the steps and kill another one. Open the two chests to find a Small Key and a
    Gourd. Drop down and go through the green door. Hit the switch to the left
    and defeat the Zombie that appears behind you. Climb the staircase and run to
    the left. Avoid the green switch here and kill the massive group of Zombies
    that rise from the ground.

    If the switch gets hit, then the stairs to the left will be blocked by
    falling boulders. If this happens, run down and hit the switch again, then
    run back up the stairs and speed past the trap.

    In the next room, use a Bomb to light the pile of lumber. Doing so will
    trigger the entrance of an army of Evil Rats. You can use Efreet here to take
    them out, but c'mon... they're Evil Rats. Either way, defeat the army of
    enemies. Open the two chests that drop down for Grapes and a Toadstool, then
    walk to the right. Make your way through the door to the next room.

    There are more soldiers to deal with here, like always. Defeat the Archer
    Soldier, Bomb Soldier, Spear Soldier, and the Swordsman. Once all four bite
    the dust, an Ogre will drop down from the ceiling (just where exactly to they
    come from?). Wipe the floor with him as well to create a set of stairs to the
    left. Climb up the stairs to the next room.

    In here, walk past the door and inspect the wall behind the waterfall. Attack
    it until the wall breaks, then crawl through the small entrance. Open the
    treasure chest to receive an Atomic Bow. Nice! Return to the previous room
    and drop down into the water below. Avoid the fish here and climb the steps
    to the left. Open the chest for a Small Key and go back down into the river.

    Walk down the east side of the river to get sucked up in the current. You'll
    ride down the river; when you reach a small alcove with two chests; press Up
    on the D-Pad to enter the alcove instead of riding the rest of the river. One
    holds Cheese and the other has a Small Key inside. Continue down the river to
    find another chest floating in the water; open it for another Small Key.

     NOTE: If you fail to enter the alcove and continue down the river, then
           return to the area where the campfire and the army of Evil Rats was.
           Then go right and jump off of the ledge to the right to reach the
           alcove.

    When you reach the bottom of the river, press the green switch here to stop
    the falling rocks on the ledge above. Then climb the steps and go through the
    door. Head through the next door you find to enter a small chamber. Open the
    chest for a Small Key and go through the door. The next room is pretty tough.
    Equip a Sword and use it against the two Ogres and two Flame Chains. Once all
    are defeated, four chests will fall to the ground.

    -> RED GEM #5
       After defeating the two Ogres and two Flame Chains, four chests will fall
       down to the ground. One contains the fifth Red Gem.

    -> BLUE GEM #6
       After defeating the two Ogres and two Flame Chains, four chests will fall
       down to the ground. One contains the sixth Blue Gem.

    The other two chests hold a Dytto Call and an Efreet Call. Also, another
    opening will appear, so go through. Open the chest on the ledge for some
    Hyper Bombs, then drop down. Go up the stairs to the next area, then through
    the red door. Open the treasure chest on the left for some Bombs and ascend
    the stairs to the ledge. Walk to the left and drop a Bomb onto the switch to
    make three chests appear.

    -> RED GEM #6
       After dropping a Bomb on the green switch below, three chests will appear.
       One chest holds another Red Gem.

    The other two hold Garlic and a Broad Sword. Drop down to the ground below
    and summon Efreet. Light the unlit torch on the right side of the door to
    open it, then proceed through.

     BOSS: Rock Golem
    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

     After the Rock Golem assembles right in front of your eyes, the battle will
     begin. This boss is pretty tough, since its attacks can cover a wide range of
     the battlefield. Its most common attack is a swift punch if you're standing
     up close to it. Rock Golem's most annoying attack is when it punches the
     ground. An avalanche of boulders will rain from the ceiling, so avoid the
     shadows that appear on the ground.

     Efreet is your best bet in this battle, since he is a heavy hitter. Use the
     Efreet Call you got earlier in the dungeon in this battle. Place it on the
     ground and hit an armlet beam to summon Efreet. His punches alone can deal a
     nice amount of damage, but his Rain of Flames attack works the best. Hold
     down the A Button to have him unleash a fiery hell on the Rock Golem.

     Once Rock Golem is down to about half of his health, it will start to use a
     new attack. Rock Golem will curl up into a ball and start to ricochet off of
     the walls like a giant pinball. The pattern is easy to memorize, so stay out
     of its track and resume slashing it in the back of the head. Try to attack
     the beast from the back to take the safe approach. This is the hard way to
     fight the Rock Golem, since it is always jumping around the arena - it tends
     to do is a lot more once most of its health is gone.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

    Once Rock Golem crumbles into oblivion, open the treasure chest that appears
    for a Sunburst Pendant. This trusty item allows you to regain HP while
    standing still in the sunlight. Radical!

    ...yes, I did just say "radical". Go through the door to exit the Beach Cave.

                                        ~ ~ ~

    Save your game and head down the stairs towards the small pond. Defeat the
    Gray Gels in the water and make sure to either push or slash the fish out of
    the water. That way, they can turn into healing items. Continue west to reach
    another pond. Wade through the water to the far left side, where you'll find a
    set of stairs. Go up the stairs and head left to reach the Mountain Fortress.

    ==============================================================================
     MOUNTAIN FORTRESS                                                      [0306]
    ==============================================================================

    Defeat the three Spear Soldiers that come charging your way. Walk to the left
    and climb the stairs leading up to the castle. Slay the two Bomb Soldiers,
    then continue up to find an Elite Knight. Kick his sorry behind to the curb
    as well. The main entrance is locked, so climb the stairs to the right and
    enter the window.

    You'll be swarmed by a bunch of soldiers, but they aren't that big of a
    problem. Open the chest in the corner for a Small Key, then use it on the
    door to the right. Collect the Small Key, Lettuce, and Hyper Bombs from the
    chest, then prepare yourself from an all-out onslaught from the Turrets that
    drop down from the ceiling. Well, that may be a bit of an exaggeration. Only
    one or two of the Turrets fire together, so slowly pick off each one until
    they're all destroyed. Exit the room and use the key on the door to the left.

    There is a geyser and a green switch in the center of the room. Avoid the
    switch, since we don't need Dytto right now. If you do hit the switch, then
    boulders will fall from above. Not good. Run to the other end of the room and
    head through.

    An Elite Knight will run towards you, so quickly counterattack and destroy
    him. Beware of the Spiked Wheels in this room. Similar to those spiky things
    in Zelda games, if you walk in front of one, it'll roll your way. Heh, this
    game is like Zelda in more ways than one. Open the chest for a Small Key and
    go through the door on the left.

    Open the two chests here for two Small Keys, then brace yourself for the
    squad of soldiers that enter the room. Defeat them all, then exit the room.
    Enter the room on the right to find some more treasure chests. You'll receive
    two new Small Keys, a Toadstool, and some Grapes. Exit the room and return to
    the room on the left, then use one of the keys on the green door. Proceed
    through.

    You will reach a fork, but take the right path. Defeat the turrets, then go
    south. A spear trap is blocking your path; you cannot crawl under, so time
    your dash to pass by. In the next room, there will be more Spiked Wheels and
    some Snakes. Ignore the Snakes and run to the other side of the room, then go
    through the door.

    -> BLUE GEM #7
       In the room past the Spiked Wheels and Snakes, you will find four treasure
       chests. First, defeat the Bomb Soldier that enters the room, then open the
       treasure chests. One of them contains a Blue Gem.

    The other three chests hold two Small Keys and a Gourd. Return to the fork
    and take the southern path this time. Once again, dash past the spear trap to
    the next room. There is an Ogre inside of this small area, so rush in towards
    him. Three Archer Soldiers will enter the room as well, so target them all
    with Hyper Bombs to blow everyone to smithereens. Once everyone is killed,
    open the chest for some Meat and go through the blue door.

    Some Bombs will drop down in the middle of the room, so avoid them. A Bomb
    Soldier will also walk in, so defeat him. The Bombs will eventually explode;
    wait until they do, then proceed into the next room. Defeat the pair of Bomb
    Soldiers and continue south. There are some spear traps in this room. There
    are some soldiers on the other end, but don't worry about them - they're
    stupid enough to get killed by the spear traps. Crawl under the ones on the
    left and exit the passage.

    You'll now end up on a balcony with an Archer Soldier and a Swordsman. Kill
    them both and walk to the left, then drop down to the ground below. Avoid the
    Spear Soldier and go through the door to enter another part of the fortress.

    You will encounter four Wizards in this room. Once again, another Zelda
    reference. Just like Wizzrobes, the Wizards will appear, shoot a laser beam,
    then disappear. The gray one will make a fireball appear instead. Wait until
    one appears, then shoot it with your Bow before it disappears. Once all four
    are dead, open the chest that appears for a Small Key. Head on through the
    northern door and continue on.

    You will be thrown in a room with two Elite Knights and two Ogres. Yeah, it
    gets pretty chaotic. Use Hyper Bombs when they are huddled in a group to deal
    major damage to all four. Once they are weakened, strike with your Knife.
    Four chests will appear after the room is wiped out of all monsters.

    -> RED GEM #7
       After defeating the two Elite Knights and two Ogres, four treasure chests
       will appear. One contains a Red Gem.

    -> BLUE GEM #8
       After defeating the two Elite Knights and two Ogres, four treasure chests
       will appear. One contains a Blue Gem.

    The other two treasure chests contain a Dytto Call and a Broad Sword. Exit
    the room to exit the castle interior. Once outside again, defeat the Spear
    Soldier and jump off of the right side of the balcony to return to the
    entrance of the castle. Defeat the Elite Knight patrolling the staircase and
    go through the red door. Defeat the two Gargoyles in the foyer and go through
    the door that opens up afterwards. Ali will overhear a conversation talking
    about the Wall Fortress to the north. Hmm...

    Defeat the group of soldiers down here. In fact, the Bomb Soldier will most
    likely take care of them for you, heh. After, walk to the right to find three
    Elite Knights. Once again, they will most likely end up attacking each other
    in this small hallway. After all three are defeated, Ali will decide to head
    off to the Wall Fortress. Proceed south to exit the castle.

                                        ~ ~ ~

    Go north to reach a desolate canyon. Climb the steps to the right and slay
    the Elite Knight. Continue north and defeat the Bee. If he stings you, he'll
    cling on and you will slowly lose HP. Perform a Spinning Slash (press A while
    twirling on the D-Pad) to get him off. Walk to the left side of the area and
    drop onto the ledge below. Take out the Elite Knight here and go north up the
    steps.

    A swarm of Bees will fly towards you, along with two Ogres. Use Spin Slashes
    to take care of the enemies if you get surrounded. Also take out the Bomb
    Soldiers here. Walk north to find some more Bomb Soldiers and a Swordsman.
    Things get pretty hectic here, so remember to use healing items and weapons.
    When you reach the top, walk to the right and head down the stairs. Head down
    two flights of stairs and kill the Bomb Soldier. Walk to the right to find an
    Ogre; kill him, then go east to the next area.

    Ignore the staircase in front of you and run to the right. Defeat the Spear
    Soldier, as well as the Archer Soldier that drops down from a ledge above.
    Ascend the stairs and defeat the Swordsman, then continue up to find
    Gremlins. These guys like to hop all over the place, so defeat them quickly
    and walk to the left to find a chest. Open it to find a Death Sword.

    Return to the set of stairs and continue north until you're at the top. Go to
    the left and slay another group of Elite Knights and Soldiers. When you reach
    a dead end, go south. You can either jump to the left to continue on, or jump
    south. (you can also jump to the right, but that leads to where the Death
    Sword was).

    -> BLUE GEM #9
       Jump south off of the ledge to reach a platform with a chest. Open it for
       yet another Blue Gem.

    Drop down below and return to the ledge above, then jump to the left this
    time. Go north to find an Elite Knight and an Ogre - you should know how to
    take them out. Continue north to the next area. Climb the stone stairs to the
    left to find another swarm of Bees and an Elite Knight. Defeat the knight
    first, then handle the insects. Climb the stairs to the left and take out the
    Swordsman and Bomb Soldier, then proceed west.

    Climb up another set of stairs leading north. Ignore the stairs leading
    south; they just lead to a dead end. Once on the mountain peak, defeat the
    Ogre and Bomb Soldier and approach the Wall Fortress to the right.

    -> RED GEM #8
       Walk over to the entrance to the Wall Fortress and go to the right. Once
       you reach the wall, drop down to the small, isolated ledge right below.
       There is a treasure chest here that contains a Red Gem.

    Drop back down and head back up to the Wall Fortress. Save your game at the
    base, then climb the massive staircase to enter the fortress.

    ==============================================================================
     WALL FORTRESS                                                          [0307]
    ==============================================================================

    Upon entering the Wall Fortress, head to the right and step on the green
    tiles. When you do, the path behind you will close and you'll be trapped. A
    strong gust of wind will arrive from the right, and you will have to travel
    against the wind to the other side. Some enemies will appear from the right:
    either a trio of Spear Soldiers or two Elite Knights. As far as I know, they
    will keep appearing if you move off of the screen. Your goal is to proceed to
    the right while defeating enemies and avoiding three flame jets.

    As far as I know, every time you defeat a wave of enemies, the flame jets
    will stop and flicker for several seconds before turning on. This is your
    sign to run past them while they're deactivated. Hit the green switch at the
    end to lower the gate.

    Another group of enemies will appear, so defeat the handful of Bomb Soldiers
    and Archer Soldiers. Take out the Elite Knight as well and continue to the
    right to have another gate rise from behind you. Run against the wind while
    avoiding rolling boulders, then head up the flight of stairs to find two
    Ogres waiting for you. Kick their butts, then go to the right.

    Jump over the Spiked Wheels that roll your way to find a chest and a green
    switch. Open the chest for some Garlic and hit the switch to open a path up
    (and release an Ogre!). Defeat the Ogre, then go south, then west to find a
    chest at the end of a fenced-in area. Open the treasure chest for a Broad
    Sword and proceed east to the next area.

    A bunch of Turrets will drop onto the windy path. Defeat them all, then
    continue to the right. Go down the stairs and move on to find another set of
    green tiles. This time, the wind will move with you. Summon Efreet, then have
    him light the unlit campfires using his Fireball technique (double tap A).
    Once all of them are lit, the path will open up to the right. It gets pretty
    hard to light all of the fires, since there are so many enemies here.

    A wave of Gremlins will drop down courtesy of some Gargoyles, and you'll have
    to defeat them all. Spikes will slowly inch their way towards you, so you
    will have to defeat them quickly; Efreet should take care of them no problem.
    Once all are killed, continue to the right and climb the stairs.

    There are two switches up here and a teleporter behind a closed gate. Every
    time you hit one of the two switches, a pair of Ogres will drop from above
    (exactly where "from above"?). You'll have to compress both switches, so lure
    an Ogre up the stairs and have one step on a switch. Step on the next one to
    open the gate, then enter the teleporter. You will be transported past the
    wall to the right of the Ogres, so continue on.

    Ali will meet up with Silver Armlet, who tells you about a device that you
    warp you through time and space. 88 miles per hour!! Err, sorry. Anyways, he
    tells Ali that he must prove himself before he can use the device, so Silver
    Armlet drops him into the dungeon below. Boss time!

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Mega Serpent
    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

     Boy, this guy is HUGE! You only see the Mega Serpent's head, which appears on
     the right side of the screen. Run to the left once it appears onscreen to
     avoid the rocks it spits out of its mouth. I find them pretty easy to avoid,
     so just move either up or down to prevent colliding with the rocks. The Mega
     Serpent will also try to suck you in its mouth for major damage. Simply dash
     to the right and the attack will eventually stop.

     After these chain of attacks commence, the Mega Serpent will stop for one
     moment and it will stick its nasty tongue out (which looks like a miniature
     version of the serpent). As it stretches out in order to bite you, slash and
     kick it a couple times to make it retreat inside the gaping maw of the snake.
     You won't be able to get many shots off, but I found it easiest to use a
     Charged Slash as the tongue sticks out - just hold down B, then let go at
     the right moment to slice the tongue.

     After a while, you will reach the end of the long hallway. When this happens,
     you will have little room to maneuver (which also makes dodging his rocks
     much more difficult). When the Mega Serpent stops and moves back away from
     you, then you know that it'll stick its tongue out. Keep on using Charged
     Slashes to defeat the Mega Serpent with ease.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

    Once the Mega Serpent is no more, enter the room to the left and open the
    treasure chest to find the Key of Time and Space. Shoot an armlet beam at the
    shiny crack in the ground south of the chest to create a portal. Step inside
    to appear at the entrance of the Wall Fortress. Exit.

                                        ~ ~ ~

    From the entrance, jump down the first ledge and go south. Drop down to the
    next ledge below and go south to find a time rift. Open it up with an armlet
    beam and go through to teleport to a ledge on the western end of the area. Go
    left and take out the two Bees, then defeat the Soldier that drops down.
    Climb the stairs and take out the Elite Knight, a second Soldier, and a Blue
    Gel. Slay the Ogre and the Gold Gel hanging around the top of the area and
    climb another set of steps.

    Defeat the Blue Gels and Soldiers here, then climb another stone staircase.
    Yet another horde of enemies stands in your way, so open up a can of whoop-
    ass on them. Once the coast is clear, head south. You will arrive near an
    active volcano. Gargoyles will constantly drop Gremlins from above, so I
    suggest running through the area past all the enemies. Not only that, but
    great balls of fire (lol) rain from above as well.

    Jump down the steps and run to the left. Head north and jump down another set
    of steps. Defeat the Ogre standing near the entrance to the volcano. Save
    your game, then proceed inside.

    ==============================================================================
     VOLCANO                                                                [0308]
    ==============================================================================

    From the start, walk to the left and proceed down the stairs. Avoid the
    spiked floor here and open the chest to the left for some Garlic. Defeat the
    Wizard below and continue south to find a treasure chest containing a Fish.
    Head over to the stairs on the right and continue down. Round the corner to
    find a pool of lava with a small stone in the center.

    A Wizard lies on the stone, and will teleport in and out while shooting energy
    balls at you. Simply jump on the platform and start to kick; he will
    materialize right into your attack and get hit. Repeat this until he is dead.
     Collect the Small Key the Wizard drops, jump over to the other side of the
    lava, and go through the door.

    You will appear on a small ledge on the top of a large room. Defeat the two
    Bats here and walk to the southwest side of the ledge; between the edge and
    the circular rock. Drop down to land on a small ledge with a chest and a Bat.
    Open the chest for a Gourd and defeat the Bat. Drop down to the left to land
    on a small area with an Elite Knight and a Bat. Take out both enemies and
    walk south to find a chest. Open it for a Small Key and drop down to the
    ground.

    Defeat the Ogre, Bats, and two Gremlins here. Once all are defeated, a
    teleporter will appear. Step on it to return to the previous room. Head back
    through the door and jump off of the southeast side of the ledge this time.
    You will land next to a green door; go through using the key.

    Walk to the left, where soldiers will drop down from above, one by one.
    Defeat them all, along with the Flame Chain that flies around here. When you
    reach an opening to the north, avoid the spiked floor and open the chest for
    a Toadstool. Return to the right side of the room to find another teleporter.
    Step inside and open the chest for a Red Key, then return back to the
    teleporter. Continue to the left and climb up the stairs to the next area.

    This room is a pain in the friggin' ASS. You will have to ride platforms
    moving across a giant hole while avoiding Wizards that seemingly appear out
    of nowhere that knock you off of the platform. Each Wizard appears in the
    same spot over and over again, so I rode a platform while using Charged
    Slashes; attack them as you pass by them. Repeat this to defeat most of the
    Wizards in the area.

    Anyways, here's how to cross the room. First hit the green switch on the left
    side of the entrance, then jump onto the first platform. Hop to the second
    one on the left, then jump to the small ledge on the left side. From there,
    jump north onto the moving platform. From there, jump to the final platform
    moving east. Jump to the northeast ledge, open the chest for a Lettuce, then
    go through the red door.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Fire Dragon
    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

     The Fire Dragon really isn't that tough of a boss, but its attacks can deal a
     crapload of damage to you. That's really the only thing to worry about in
     this fight. You will be standing on a U-shaped platform and the Fire Dragon
     will be in the center. It will extend its long neck to try and bite you; it
     most likely will reach you due to the long neck. Just try to run back and
     forth across the platform to avoid it. The Fire Dragon also likes to shoot
     a trio of fireballs out in a wave. Slash 'em with your sword to destroy them.

     The most annoying attack of the Fire Dragon is his flame breath attack. It
     will spray a stream of flames out of its big mouth. The attack is long and
     can last a while, so run from one side of the room to the other until the
     attack stops. Just make sure not to get caught in the doorway in which you
     entered the room from, since you'll get stuck in there while getting pelted
     by molten-hot flames. Not fun.

     I recommend using some type of Sword for this battle, since it has a long
     range. Bows are rather useless (as are Bombs), so use up your Broad Swords
     or Death Sword if you haven't already. Slice the dragon's head while standing
     on the edge of the platform, but just make sure not to fall off! The battle
     really isn't that hard, since you can deal a lot of damage to the Fire Dragon
     with a nice Sword.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

    A platform will appear in the center of the room, so jump on and cross it to
    the other side. Fire an armlet beam at the door and go through to find your
    third Spirit: Shade.

    Press the A button to have Shade use Dark Claw. Use this attack to have Shade
    grab out of reach items and objects. Hold down the A Button to have Shade use
    Doppelganger: a neat technique. You will be invincible while another version
    of Ali is created. Now you can use this Ali to move around and do stuff. It's
    best used to activate a set of switches or something. Press A, B, and C to
    cancel any summons.

    Now here comes the hard part: the volcano is erupting! You must escape the
    volcano, so exit the boss room the same way you came in. Instead of crossing
    all of the floating platforms here, use Dark Claw on the post south of your
    location. Shade will latch onto the post and pull you over. Do the same with
    the second post and exit the room. From here, use Dark Claw on the post to
    the right and step into the teleporter not too far away.

    -> RED GEM #9
       After stepping on the teleporter, you will appear next to another one, as
       well as a chest. Open it for a Red Gem.

    Step into the other teleporter and exit the room through the northern
    doorway. Drop down to the ground below and enter the next teleporter to reach
    the first room of the dungeon. Jump north across the lava pit and enter the
    room. This time, jump down on the left side of the ledge. Cross the chasm by
    using Dark Claw on the post, then go left to the next room. Avoid the geysers
    and jump down to the ledge, then crawl through the hole to exit the volcano.

                                        ~ ~ ~

    Nope, it's still not over! Save your game once outside and run across the
    bridge to the left. Once at the edge, perform a running jump to the rock
    platform on the left. The jumps get tricky, but Shade will pick you up and
    bring you to where you fell if you don't make the jump (you won't lose any
    HP). Cross the bridge to the other side to find a platform to the left.
    However, there is a chest on a platform to the right.

    -> BLACK GEM #1
       Jump to the rock platform to the right and open the treasure chest here
       for your first Black Gem.

    Continue jumping across the platforms until you reach a bridge leading to the
    next area. Climb the steps to meet up with the Wise Man. He will reward Ali
    with the Psychoring, which allows you to slowly regain SP while standing
    still. He mentions that your sister Gwyn has been missing for over ten years,
    but she still may be alive. He tells Ali to protect his family from Silver
    Armlet.

    With that said, he creates a time rift below you. Walk down the stairs and
    fire an armlet beam at it, then step inside. You will arrive on a beach, so
    proceed south and follow the beach until you reach a staircase. First off,
    defeat the Ogre here. Climb up and defeat the Bomb Soldier and Elite Knight,
    then head to the east. Defeat the army of soldiers and the Elite Knights,
    then climb up the stairs and go east to reach a forest.

    Save your game and head down the stairs. Defeat the Snakes and climb up the
    next set of steps to the right. Go east and then north to the next area.
    Climb the steps and continue north, then head west. Continue west, avoiding
    the Zombies along the way, then go around the bend and follow it. Walk south,
    then head to the next area to find a black crystal on the edge of a
    cliffside. Fire an armlet beam to summon Shade. From here, you can return to
    the beach for a gem.

    -> BLACK GEM #2
       Once on the beach with Shade, walk to the west to find a treasure chest
       behind a wooden fence. Use Dark Claw to have Shade grab the second Black
       Gem. Now you can pick it up.

    Return to the black crystal back in the forest and go west to the area with
    the Zombies. Climb the stairs and go to the left, then head down another
    staircase. Continue along the path until you reach a gap. Use Dark Claw to
    cross it and save your game in front of the cave entrance. Go inside to reach
    the Forest Shrine.

    ==============================================================================
     FOREST SHRINE                                                          [0309]
    ==============================================================================

    One small note before starting the walkthrough for this dungeon. There are
    many unlit torches in here. You MUST light them all to complete this dungeon.
    There's one in almost every room, so I shouldn't have to remind you to light
    each and every one. Either use fire-based weapons or Efreet to do so.

    You will be thrown in a room filled with three Gargoyles and spike pits.
    Defeat them all and go through the door on the left. This room is tricky to
    maneuver through since there are so many Spiked Wheels. Defeat the Mimic in
    the middle of the room to make a real treasure chest appear. Pick it up for a
    Small Key, then return to the previous room. Use it on the door to the right.

    Defeat the Ogre that drops down to the ground along with an unlimited supply
    of Evil Rats. The Ogre will drop a Small Key, so quickly go through to the
    next room. In here, climb the staircase and use Bombs or Fire Arrows to
    destroy the icicle. Take out the soldier trio up here, then go back down the
    stairs and head to the right. Defeat the three Turrets here to find a chest
    containing Bombs. Summon Shade using the black crystal, then return to the
    previous room. Use Dark Claw to reach the ledge with the post on it and open
    the chest for a Small Key.

    Drop back down and go to the room on the right, then use the key on the door
    here. Open the treasure chest in here for a Small Key, then hit the green
    switch to make two chests appear on the ledge above you. Don't worry about
    them now; we'll get them later. Now return to the room with the icicle. Go up
    the stairs and proceed through the blue door.

    Light the unlit campfire here, then cross the platform to the ledge on the
    left. Open the chest for Lettuce, then light the fire here. Return to the
    platform near the entrance and ride the moving platform north. Jump to the
    platform moving left and right, then leap onto the left on the ledge. Light
    the fire here and jump onto another platform. Use a platform to reach the
    ledge on the right and light the final fire.

    Doing so will trigger the appearance of four Tentacle Blobs. That's exactly
    what they are: blobs with tentacles. Use Efreet to help defeat them all,
    since they keep shrinking and come back at you (they take a little while to
    defeat). Once all four Tentacle Blobs are gone, head to the right to find the
    two chests that we activated earlier.

    -> BLACK GEM #3
       After defeating the Tentacle Blobs, go to the room on the right to find two
       chests. One contains a Black Gem.

    The other chest holds an Orange. Return to the previous room and walk north
    to find an open door. Go in and slash open the chest for a Small Key. Exit
    the room and jump to the platform on the left, then use it to reach the
    ledge. Use the key on the door and climb the stairs to find another chest.
    This one contains another Small Key.

    Return to the entrance of the Forest Shrine and enter the door on the left.
    Avoid the Spiked Wheels again and open the green door. You will have to avoid
    boulders from the north while crossing spiked floors. It's best to just jump
    across the spike pits rather than dealing with the boulders. Collect the
    Small Key from the chest in the middle of the room, then head to the left.
    Destroy the icicle and go through.

    Defeat the Tentacle Blobs that appear to find another Small Key. After, a
    small crack in the ceiling will open, releasing some rain drops. Fire an
    armlet beam at the drops of water to summon Dytto, then return to the
    previous room.

    Use Dytto to extinguish the fires past the staircase and go through the door
    up here. In this room, you will encounter a giant army of Zombies. Defeat
    them all (it's a lot of them) to open the door to the north, but don't go
    through. Return to the room with the black crystal. Summon Shade, then head
    back here and proceed through the door. Hit the switch at the top of the
    stairs, then return to the previous room to find a hole blown in the side.
    Crawl through.

    Climb the stairs and open the chest for a Small Key, but jump out of the way
    before you get impaled by the Spiked Wheels. Break the wall behind where the
    key was to enter a secret room.

    -> RED GEM #10
       After entering the secret room, step on one of two switches. Use Shade's
       Doppelganger attack to create a mirror image of Ali. Have the fake step on
       the other switch to make a chest appear. Press A to revert back to normal,
       then open the treasure chest for a Red Gem.

    Walk back to the room with the switch and go through the blue door.

    -> BLACK GEM #4
       Avoid the two boulders in front of you and walk to the right. Step in the
       teleporter and head south afterwards. Avoid the spear traps on the side of
       the wall and open the chest at the end for a Black Gem.

    After, drop down to return to the room with the spike pits and rolling
    boulders. Go all the way back to the room past the blue door. The last torch
    is in here, if you haven't lit it yet. Don't worry about the one on the ledge
    above you; you cannot reach it yet.

    Now that all the torches you have come across are lit, return to the room
    with the campfires and floating platforms. Make your way to the ledge on the
    northwest end of the room and go through. The door here should be opened, so
    enter the next room. You'll appear on the upper ledge of the room with the
    two boulders. Light the torch here and summon Shade if you wish, then step in
    the teleporter to reach the entrance of the shrine.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Rock Golem

    The Rock Golem is exactly the same as the one in the Beach Cave. The only
    real difference is the room. This place is filled with spikes, so it's a
    little harder to navigate. Still, the battle isn't tough, since the spikes
    also hurt the Rock Golem as well. Now that the Rock Golem is destroyed, go
    through the door in the middle.

    Go through the first red door and pick up the Death Sword and Grapes here.
    Enter the next room to reach a room with a black crystal, two torches, and
    drops of water. That's right, you can summon any three of the Spirits here.
    First off, summon Dytto and use her to heal to max HP. Choose which one you
    want to tag along (I chose Efreet, since he's a powerhouse) and go through
    the last red door to reach the true boss.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Doomsday Sorcerer
    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

     Like my name for him? Heh. The Doomsday Sorcerer will float in the center of
     the room with his trusty crystal ball. In order to reach him, you will have
     to cross three moving platforms that circle the room. Needless to say, it's
     really hard to damage him. The Doomsday Sorcerer will shoot a circle of small
     balls of lightning at you, which are keen in knocking you off of the moving
     platform. He can also summon Poison Blobs, which can shoot lightning bolts at
     you. Efreet can deal with these enemies while you focus on the big cheese.

     Equip some type of Sword and jump to the platform closest to the Doomsday
     Sorcerer. Slash away at him while you slowly rotate around the wizard. If he
     shoots out balls of lightning, then jump to a platform farther away to avoid
     the attacks. Doing so can be tricky, since the platforms are moving quickly
     (also, Poison Blobs tend to get in the way a lot).

     You can also use any type of Bow to easily win the battle. Simply stand on
     the ledge near the entrance to the room and shoot the Doomsday Sorcerer while
     safely on the ledge. Keep this up to dwindle his HP down quickly. If you have
     enough Bows, you can win the battle with this strategy. The arena is really
     tough to scale at first, but you'll get the hang of it. It's also easier if
     you have Shade to save you if you happen to fall. The fight against the
     Doomsday Sorcerer is tough, but you'll get the hang of it.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

    The Doomsday Sorcerer will fall to his doom (lame joke, I know) and the door
    on the northern end of the room will open. Fire an armlet beam at the next
    door and proceed through. Climb the stairs to find the final Spirit: Bow. Bow
    is a weird-looking venus flytrap thing. Anyways, he's pretty cool.

    Press A to have Bow bite any enemy nearby. Tap A twice to have Bow burrow
    underground, which is helpful to access certain areas. Hold down A and let go
    to have Bow explode, releasing poison pollen which damages any enemy nearby.
    of course, press A, B, and C together to stop the summon. The interesting
    thing about Bow is that he doesn't move around with you; he pops out of the
    ground where you entered the area. That's kinda sucky.

                                        ~ ~ ~

    After appearing at the entrance to the Forest Shrine, go south and drop off
    the ledge. Dismiss Bow for now and walk up the stairs to the right. When you
    reach the fork, go south and follow the path to reach the castle town.

    Like the Wise Man said, enemies have come to attack your family. The whole
    town is filled to the brim with soldiers and Evil Rats. Ignore them for now
    and exit the town to the east - we have a lot of Gems to get. Return to the
    entrance of the Waterfall Shrine (go east to the next area, then head north
    to reach it). Crawl under the bridge south of the entrance and fire an armlet
    beam at the icicle to summon Shade.

    -> BLACK GEM #5
       With Shade by your side, go west to the area near the entrance to the
       Waterfall Shrine. Use Doppelganger to find a time rift nearby. Dismiss
       Shade and fire an armlet beam at the spot where the time rift was. Enter to
       reach a ledge with a chest. Open the chest for your fifth Black Gem.

    Go back to the bridge again and summon Shade. Return to the village, then
    head south to the beach where you first started the game.

    -> GREEN GEM #1
       A treasure chest has randomly washed up on the shore of the beach where the
       game started off. Open it for your first Green Gem.

    Return to the village and go east this time. Return to the Water Shrine and
    enter the shrine.

    -> BLACK GEM #6
       Enter the third room of the Water Shrine and go up the stairs. Defeat the
       Ogre, Archer Soldier, and Swordsman here, then look to the left: a post on
       the ledge. Use Dark Claw to reach the post and go south. Open the treasure
       chest down here to obtain another Black Gem.

    Dismiss Shade and exit the temple. Climb down the stairs and go north past
    the campfire to reach the Efreet Racetrack. Ignore the racetrack and instead,
    proceed to the Mountain Fortress.

    Once back in here, climb the ledge and make your way to the left side. Defeat
    the two Archer Solders here and the Swordsman. Pick up the Small Key and
    summon Bow using the small plant to the right. Go through the yellow door.
    Defeat the two Turrets and have Bow burrow under the ground. Bow will pop up
    wherever you are, so walk towards the steel gate on the left and have Bow
    burrow next to you. He will bite the gate and proceed to eat it. Wow! Head on
    to the next room.

    This room can be a royal pain in the behind. Have Bow dig to the center of
    the room and stay there. Defeat the two Zombies here to make a bunch of
    Tentacle Blobs appear. After several seconds, a group of Flame Chains will
    also appear. Have Bow help you take out the Tentacle Blobs and Flame Chains,
    for two Raptors will drop down as well. These guys are fast and deadly. The
    room can get very crazy if too many enemies are still alive, so use your
    Swords here.

    -> BLUE GEM #10
       Once the room is cleared of Zombies, Tentacle Blobs, Flame Chains, and
       Raptors, four chests will fall down to the ground. One of them contains
       a Blue Gem.

    -> RED GEM #10
       Once the room is cleared of Zombies, Tentacle Blobs, Flame Chains, and
       Raptors, four chests will fall down to the ground. One of them contains
       a Red Gem.

    -> BLACK GEM #7
       Once the room is cleared of Zombies, Tentacle Blobs, Flame Chains, and
       Raptors, four chests will fall down to the ground. One of them contains
       a Black Gem.

    -> GREEN GEM #2
       Once the room is cleared of Zombies, Tentacle Blobs, Flame Chains, and
       Raptors, four chests will fall down to the ground. One of them contains
       a Green Gem.

    Once you have all four Gems in hand, dismiss Bow and exit the fortress.
    Alright, NOW it's time to save your family. I knew they could wait for us to
    get some sweet items. Hopefully we didn't waste too much time or anything...

    Once back at the castle town, ignore the soldiers and go south to reach the
    port. Enter the house to the left of the boat and crawl through the small
    hole. Summon Bow in here using the plant and have him chomp down the steel
    gate. Continue north and enter the next area.

    -> GREEN GEM #3
       You will appear on a small ledge overlooking the a room in the castle. Open
       the treasure chest here for your third Green Gem.

    Defeat the soldiers down here and walk past the dead guy down the stairs.
    Take out the soldiers here and climb the stairs to the right. Once on the
    balcony, go west and slay the Elite Knight on the walkway. Kill the other one
    farther up, then proceed to the throne room.

    You'll meet Silver Armlet, who captured your father and sister. He officially
    rips Ali a new one and demands that he finds a Large Cube hidden somewhere in
    the castle. In return, he'll give you back your sister. Silver Armlet then
    kicks you down into the dungeon.

    ==============================================================================
     CASTLE DUNGEON                                                         [0310]
    ==============================================================================

    Ride down the river until you stop. Crawl into the small tunnel next to you.
    In here, you will find many different paths to take, but the strong currents
    block many off. Go to the right, then south to a small room. Defeat the
    Zombies and the Fish here to make a treasure chest drop down. Open it for a
    Small Key. Exit the tunnel and head up the stairs to the left. Summon Bow up
    here, then go through the door on the left.

    Walk to the left and have Bow destroy the steel gate, then go back to the
    right and dismiss Bow. Summon Shade with the black crystal and go through the
    remains of the gate. Defeat the Blue Gels and Gold Gels that fall to the
    ground while avoiding the Parasite Worm in the center of the room. If it
    grabs you, then you'll repeatedly lose HP until you break free.

    -> GREEN GEM #4
       Defeat the Parasite Worm in the center of the room for a Green Gem.

    Go through the tunnel on the west side of the room to enter a rapid water
    current. If you noticed, you're on the northern end of the tunnel from
    before. Hug the right wall to reach a break in the current, then enter the
    next one on the right. Continue to reach the southeast end of the tunnel. Go
    to the next area. As soon as you enter, fire walls will block the entrance
    and another tunnel entrance to the left. Defeat the Pill Bugs and Zombies
    that populate the next room for a Small Key. Walk to the left end, next to
    the steps, and look towards the ledge on the left.

    -> BLACK GEM #8
       Use Dark Claw to open the two chests on the ledge, then pull them over. One
       of the treasure chests holds a Black Gem.

    The other chest has a Small Key inside, so take that as well. Climb down the
    stairs and dismiss Shade, then summon Dytto. Have her extinguish the fire
    wall on the right and crawl into the tunnel. Continue against the current to
    the left, then continue left and exit the tunnel. Climb back up the stairs
    and enter the green door this time, now that you have the key.

    -> GREEN GEM #5
       A giant mass of Blue and Brown Gels will fall from the ceiling. They can
       be tricky to defeat, so I recommend the use of a Sword to kill them. Once
       the room is cleared of Gels, a treasure chest will appear in the center.
       Open said chest for another Green Gem.

    Enter the tunnel again and head to the right as you travel the current. Once
    you enter the passage on the right, go through to another room. A strange
    cloud is in the center of the room, and it won't do anything until you summon
    Dytto via the water droplets to the left. Once you do, a Ghost will appear.
    If a Ghost touches any Spirit, it will begin sapping you of SP. Quickly
    defeat it (it'll disappear), then extinguish the flames covering the blue
    door and proceed through.

    Extinguish the next flame, then go to the north. Do the same with the next
    two, then dismiss Dytto. Use the plant on the far left side of the room to
    summon Bow, then have him tunnel next to the steel gate. Use Bow to tear it
    down, then walk through. Use Bombs to destroy the icicle, then climb the
    stairs. Defeat the Zombies that rise from the ground, then go west to the
    next room.

    Kill the Zombies and summon Bow, then go down the stairs. Step on the green
    switch to slow down the flow of boulders to the left. Have Bow burrow and
    stand on top of the switch, then run north to the next area. Defeat the Bats
    and Snakes here, then walk to the right. Head down the steps, then walk to
    the left to reach the lower end of the room.

    -> GREEN GEM #6
       There are two chests down here in the water, and the one on the right is a
       Mimic. Defeat it (along with the Bats that fly down to you) and open the
       other chest for a Green Gem.

    Go back to the right and dismiss Bow. Summon Dytto and use her bubbles to
    destroy the waterfall. Dismiss Dytto, then walk in front of the door and
    shoot an armlet beam to open it. This can be tricky, since the current going
    south will be pulling you. If you get stuck in the current, it'll drag you to
    the beginning of the dungeon. Sucky, I know. Quickly open it, then jump
    through to find the Large Cube.

    If your items inventory is filled, then drop one item. Talk to the cube to
    learn that he is the origin of Agito's power and the keeper of his soul. Pick
    up the Large Cube to add it to your inventory, then step in the teleporter
    that appears.

                                        ~ ~ ~

    Once back at the throne room, talk to your father. He will tell you that the
    Large Cube is evil and it should have never been awaken. Well go me. Anyways,
    he still insists that you do what you THINK is right. The king passes out (I
    think...), so leave the castle and save your game.

    You'll hear a crash, so go north to find some rocks that happened to neatly
    organize into a staircase of sorts. How convenient. Climb the makeshift steps
    and enter the next area. Defeat the Evil Rats, Ogre, Elite Knight, and the
    Bats here in the forest.

    -> GREEN GEM #7
       While walking north through the forest, look to the left to spot a ledge
       with a chest below. Jump down onto the ledge and open the chest to receive
       another Green Gem.

    You can actually walk across a very narrow strip of land south to reach the
    trail again. You know, instead of having to drop below and end up near the
    Forest Shrine. That would be lame. Continue north to the next area. Defeat
    the Ogres as you climb the stairs, then use the black crystal to summon
    Shade. Drop down to the right as you fall a long ways.

    -> GREEN GEM #8
       After dropping down from the mountainside, go south to find an Ogre in
       front of a treasure chest. Defeat the menace, then open the chest to find
       a Green Gem.

    Geez, they're just handing these things out to us, aren't they? Ascend the
    stairs north of here, avoiding the Snakes and Ogres along the way, to reach
    the next area. Go west and climb the stairs, then walk along a little ways to
    find a stake across a gap. Use Shade's Dark Claw to cross the gap, then
    continue through the mountain path to the right.

    -> BLACK GEM #9
       Before going right to the next area, drop down to a small area with a chest
       in the center. Open it for a Black Gem, then drop down to the floor. You'll
       have to retrace your steps to get back up to the path.

    -> GREEN GEM #9
       You will appear on a ledge overlooking the Mountain Fortress. There is a
       treasure chest north of your location, which contains a Green Gem.

    Drop down into the Mountain Fortress and go up the steps. Drop down onto the
    other side and head to the right to exit the entrance of the castle. If you
    want a Black Gem, then we have to pretty much go through the entire Beach
    Cave again. Well, here we go.

    From the boss room, go south and jump into the river. Once at the bottom,
    open the chest for a Small Key and hit the switch to stop the rocks from
    above. Climb the stairs and head south. Summon Shade from the icicle and
    continue east to reach the entrance of the Beach Cave. Leave.

    -> BLACK GEM #10
       From the entrance of the Beach Cave, go to the right to find a post. Use
       Dark Claw to travel to the post and open the chest here for a Black Gem.

    Now we have to go through Beach Cave all over again. Seems kinda like a waste
    all for one Black Gem. Oh well. Once you're finally through, go to the left
    to find a post behind a set of stumps. Use Shade's Dark Claw to reach it,
    then head underwater. If, for some reason you don't have Shade, you'll have
    to go through Beach Cave and get him from the icicle.

    You'll drop down in an underground river system. Each current you take will
    all lead you down to the bottom, but some lead to nice prizes, like the
    Infinite Metal Bow and some Gems. Once at the bottom, you can take the
    stairs on the right to reach the top and try again. Keep trying to get all
    the prizes.

    -> GREEN GEM #10
       Along with an Infinite Metal Bow and another gem, you can find a Green Gem
       here. Study the pattern of the currents and keep trying in order to get it.

    -> BLUE GEM #11
       Along with an Infinite Metal Bow and another gem, you can find a Blue Gem
       here. Study the pattern of the currents and keep trying in order to get it.

    When you're done collecting goodies, go south to end up near the Waterfall
    Shrine. Now return to the castle now that you're done with business. Head to
    the area to the right of the castle and go north up the new open area. Return
    to the mountainside and summon Shade with the black crystal. Drop down and go
    north to the next area.

    Climb the steps and proceed until you reach the ledge above where you found
    the ninth Black Gem. Drop down to the left and continue along. Go up the
    steps and pass by a plant. Proceed to the next area to reach Silver Armlet
    and your sister.

    Ali hands over the Large Cube, and Silver Armlet keeps his promise and hands
    over your sister. He leaves, and your sister gives you the Sun's Charm. This
    baby can restore your HP AND SP when standing in sunlight. Some soldiers
    escort your sister back to the castle.

    Alright, this is the last stand. The cave in front of you is a dungeon that
    eventually leads to the end of the game, so this is the last time you can do
    any sidequests. Sorry I haven't been able to cover the sidequests for the
    Infinite Weapons, but you should probably get those before coming here. Make
    sure to have all the gems you can get right now (you should have 13 Blue Gems,
    13 Red Gems, 13 Black Gems, and 11 Green Gems if you did all the sidequests).

    When you feel that you are ready for the upcoming challenge, save your game
    and enter the cave.

    ==============================================================================
     NON-ENTITY'S CAVE                                                      [0311]
    ==============================================================================

    From the start of the dungeon, defeat the Bats that circle around, then take
    out the two Elite Knights that come charging your way. Next, defeat a trio of
    Spear Soldiers to open the exit to the room.

    When all the enemies are defeated, leave the room. In here, boulders will roll
    down from the north towards you. Use the small branches in the room to duck
    out of harm's way. Open the first chest for a Bow, then continue to find
    another chest with some Garlic. At the top of the room lies an Elite Knight;
    quickly kill him and leave the room.

    In here, a giant wave will come crashing above the entrance. If you get stuck
    on it, you will be carried north. The bad news is that there is a hole at the
    northern end of the room. In short: you get caught on the wave, and you'll
    get washed off the cliffside. Your goal is to defeat two Tentacle Blobs here
    in the room. Slash one a couple times, then jump as the wave comes towards
    you. It's a long process, but kill both. It helps to have Shade with you so
    you don't take damage if you fall off.

    -> BLUE GEM #14
       After defeating two Tentacle Blobs in the wave room, one of them will drop
       a Blue Gem for you.

    The other one drops an Elixir, so take that as well. After killing both
    enemies, dismiss Shade. Ride the wave down the pit to reach a new area of the
    cave. Down here, you will have to fight a rather weak current while fending
    off against Evil Rats, Turrets, and two Ogres. Once all are defeated, a
    staircase will rise nearby. Go up the stairs and defeat the soldiers, then
    head through the opening that appears.

    Defeat the four Evil Rats here and ignore the chests for now. Equip a Sword
    and take out the three Parasite Worms in the room. Once all three are
    defeated, pick up the chest in the center for a Garlic to make an Ogre drop
    down. Slay him as well and open the chest in the corner for a Broad Sword.

    -> RED GEM #14
       Once the room is cleared of foes, another chest will drop down from above.
       Open this one for a Red Gem.

    Afterwards, drop down to the ledge to the left and jump over the waterfall to
    the next area. You will have to jump over another series of waterfalls so
    that you don't get sucked down the hole. After each break, a Wizard will be
    there to attack you. I simply ran past them, so you can definitely do the
    same. At the end is an Elite Knight, so kill him and quickly exit the room.

    In here, summon Dytto and run north against the current. Speed past the
    rolling boulders and the school of fish to the next area. Extinguish the
    three flames with Dytto and avoid the Pill Bugs that fall down to the ground.
    Go down the stairs and open the treasure chest for Garlic, then walk north of
    the chest. Jump onto the small gray platform, then leap to the one nearby.
    Pass the plant and defeat the Ogre, then continue across the platforms to the
    next area.

    Defeat the Bomb Soldier and summon Shade using the icicle here.

    -> GREEN GEM #12
       After summoning Shade via the icicle, use Dark Claw to reach the chest
       behind the three rocks. Pull over the Green Gem and take it.

    Dismiss Shade and summon Efreet. Have him destroy the icicle, then dismiss
    him as well. First, go down the steps and open the chest for a Gourd. Return
    to the previous room and summon Bow. Return here and bring Bow to the steel
    gate at the far end of the room. Have him eat the door, then back away, for a
    Swordsman will rush through. Defeat him, then continue through. Hop across
    the platforms to the next area.

    This room has a lot of platforms and a lot of enemies. You will be introduced
    to Ball Lightnings. They are annoying enemies that pursue you wherever you
    go. However, they are weak. Let them come to you, then use a Charged Slash to
    take most out in one hit. Clear the room of Ball Lightning, then jump south
    to the platform. Jump to the right, then wait for a moving platform to come
    your way.

    -> BLACK GEM #14
       Ride the moving platform south and jump on the stationary one. Defeat the
       Archer Soldier next to you and open the chest for a Black Gem.

    Ride the moving platform on the right, then drop off and enter the next area
    to the east. Defeat the three Ogres here using some assistance from Bow.

    -> GREEN GEM #13
       After all Ogres are gone, a green switch will appear. Step on it to release
       three chests from the ceiling. One contains a Green Gem.

    The other two hold a Toadstool and an Atomic Bow, so take them as well.
    Return to the previous room, since some of the stationary platforms are now
    moving. Return to the platform where you found the Black Gem, then ride a
    moving platform to the left and proceed to the next room.

    There are three Tentacle Blobs in here, so stand on the platform and let them
    come to you. Continue across the platforms once all three are killed. There's
    one last enemy at the south end, so defeat him as well and jump to the ledge
    with a green switch. Hit it to make some Bombs drop down on the ledge above.
    They will destroy the rocks in your way, opening up the path. Climb the
    stairs and pass the rubble to the next area. Open the chest at the dead end
    for a Small Key.

    Now that you have the key, return to the platform room. Head to the north end
    of the room and use the Small Key on the red door. Defeat the two soldiers
    here and open the chest for some Hyper Bombs, then dismiss Bow. Summon Efreet
    from the fire jets and have him use the Fireball technique to move him
    through the lava-filled passage. Once there, have Efreet light the torch. I
    found it easiest to stand on the left passage and guide him from there.

    Now that the torch is lit, the door at the end of the left passage will open
    up. Avoid the flame jets and walk to the end to find two treasure chests.
    Open them to receive a Bow Call and a Toadstool. Go through the room to find
    a pack of soldiers. Unleash Efreet on their candy asses to make a chest drop
    down. Open the chest for a Death Sword and go to the right.

    There will be a green switch in the center of the room, with four platforms
    branching off from the center. The northwest platform has a black crystal on
    it. The southwest platform has a geyser on it. The northeast platform has a
    flame wall on it, and the southeast platform has a plant on it. Hit the
    switch in the center to make four switches appear on each platform.

    You have to hit the switches in a certain order: the order of the Spirits you
    gained. If you forgot, you received Dytto first, Efreet second, Shade third,
    and Bow last. So in short, hit the southwest platform first, the northeast
    platform second, the northwest platform third, and the southeast platform
    last. With that done, a passage will open up in the previous room. Return
    there and summon Dytto to heal yourself. You cannot use Spirits in the next
    room, so dismiss her and move on.

    You will reach a strange room and a giant trio of eyes will open up in front
    of you. It states that you are in Non-Entity, the border between the real
    world and the Shadow World - you cannot use your Gold Armlet here. And now
    you have to fight the giant thing, yay.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Evil Eyes
    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

     The Evil Eyes will float across the northern end of the room. It will usually
     create vortexes that suck you in. Other than freeze you in place, they do not
     hurt you. Though, the vortexes can get annoying when used with the Evil Eyes'
     second attack: it will hurl down a shower of meteors. It's a lot of meteors,
     and there isn't much area to move around on. Keep dodging the shadows to
     avoid getting pummeled by the asteroids.

     In order to damage the Evil Eyes, you must open the third eye above the other
     two. In order to do this, hit one of the lower two with your armlet beam.
     Once you do so, the upper eye will open for about two seconds. Use this time
     to execute a Jumping Slash -- I found it easiest to use Death Swords or Omega
     Swords, since they deal the most damage. You can only get off one hit before
     the eye closes and the process starts over again.

     Keep this up until the Evil Eyes lose about half of their HP. After this, the
     third eye will shoot a beam of light straight ahead. If you're running away
     from meteors and get caught in the beam, then you'll be in a world of hurt.
     Surprisingly, the battle against the Evil Eyes is terribly easy, especially
     if you have a powerful sword in hand.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

    After the battle, the Evil Eyes will explode and Ali will be thrown into a
    strange realm.

     SHADOW WORLD                                                           [0312]
    ==============================================================================

    Avoid the rocks that drop from the sky and run to the right. If you don't
    want to take part in any sidequests (and don't want to go back to the real
    world), then save your game. I recommend using another save file to save your
    game here, if you still want to go back and do any side activities.

    Avoid the Gels here and jump over the spike pits. Gargoyles will transport
    Gremlins here, but don't avoid them. In fact, kill the Green Gargoyle that
    appears and keep taking out the Gremlins that drop down. Sooner or later, the
    Gargoyles will retreat and a chest will appear in the center. Open the chest
    for a Small Key. Jump across the spikes, then head south to the next area.
    Slay the Elite Knight that stands in your way and summon Shade.

    Take out the Bomb Soldier and hit the switch in the right side of the room.
    Doing so stops the geyser on the staircase, so run up the stairs. Toss a Bomb
    over the fence and have it land on the switch. Drop down once the switch is
    hit the switch in the corner again. This will turn on the geyser on the
    staircase, but we're supposed to. Walk to the left end of the room; the door
    is now opened. Enter.

    Once inside, climb the stairs and go through the door. Once on the balcony,
    cross the gap using Dark Claw on the post and hit the green switch to close
    the door below. Cross the gap below and go back through the door to find out
    that the water below has drained. Collect the Fish here and hit the switch. A
    chest will appear, so climb the stairs and get it for a Small Key. Go back
    down the stairs and head through the door.

    Cross over to the post and head north, then dismiss Shadow. You're
    overlooking the area with the Blue Gels again. Fire an armlet beam at one to
    summon Dytto, then go to the left and south. Use her to extinguish the fire
    wall and defeat the Ball Lightnings. Take out the Ghost as well, then head to
    the left.

    You will appear in a large courtyard, with the exit being blocked by an
    icicle Ignore it for now and defeat the Raptor. After, a circle of Turrets
    will drop down, one by one. Defeat each one as another one falls. After all
    of them are gone, a Flame Chain will appear. Dismiss Dytto and shoot an
    armlet beam at it to summon Efreet. Defeat the Flame Chain, then use Efreet
    to destroy the icicle.

    -> RED GEM #15
       After defeating all of the enemies in the courtyard, a chest will drop down
       in the middle. Pick it up for your final Red Gem!

    Afterwards, exit the courtyard. As you walk down the path, a massive army of
    Zombies will rise from the grave. However, drop a Bomb on the switch to the
    right to unleash a massive amount of Bombs from the sky. If timed right, the
    Bombs will destroy all of the Zombies instantly. A chest containing a Shade
    Call also drops down. Head north to the next area.

    Continue north to reach a bridge leading to Agito's Castle. Defeat the Spear
    Soldier that charges towards you, then continue up the bridge. Slay the Elite
    Knight, then do the same with the two Archer Soldiers. A Raptor is the final
    enemy you encounter here, so kill it as well. Save your game, then use the
    Small Key to enter Agito's Castle.

    ==============================================================================
     AGITO'S CASTLE                                                         [0313]
    ==============================================================================

    Take out the two Bomb Soldiers at the start of the castle, then light the two
    unlit torches. Next, climb the stairs. Kill the Spear Soldiers and the
    Swordsman upon climbing the stairs. There are a total of four switches in the
    vicinity: two in front of you and two on the upper floor. However, you can
    only reach three. Hit the one on the left once to make a chest drop down.
    Open it for a Small Key. Pass the top-left switch and go through the yellow
    door to the next room.

    Defeat the Ball Lightning in here and jump to the northern platform. Hop onto
    the island and step on the switch, then return to the entrance. Take the
    platform to the right and walk along the ledge. Ride the next platform to the
    northeast end of the room and hit the switch here. Light the unlit torch here
    on the wall. Ride this next platform to the left and hit the final switch.
    Also, light the second unlit torch to make the door in front of you open.

    Go to the right and head through the doorway, then run under the Bomb
    Soldiers here and enter the next area. Jump over the spike pit and you'll
    encounter an unlimited group of Tentacle Blobs. Jump over the second spike
    pit and quickly hit the green switch to stop the flow of enemies. Defeat any
    that are left and head south to the balcony.

    Once out here, avoid the hole and walk to the right. Kill the Swordsman that
    ambushes you and open the chest in the corner for a Small Key. Now return to
    the previous area and drop down into the hole to reach the upper-right switch
    in the castle foyer. Hit the switch to open the door below, then head
    through. Open the treasure chest to obtain a Small Key. Exit and enter the
    room to the left to reach the platform room again. This time, go through the
    green door located at the northeast end of the room.

    This room is simply unforgiving. There are sets of Wizards that will appear.
    Some shoot fireballs at you, other shoot energy balls. Some even summon a
    trail of fire that pursues you until you're hit (it'll also disappear after a
    long time). Remember that they always appear in the same area and they'll
    appear if you enter their line of sight. Be very careful and take them out
    one by one. Once you defeat one wave, another one will appear in different
    positions. You will have to fight A LOT of Wizards, trust me on that. Use
    healing items constantly.

    Once the grueling fight comes to a close, two chests will drop down. Open
    them for an Omega Sword and a Toadstool. Exit the room. You'll be thrown in a
    seemingly dead end with a small walkway in front of you and one on each side.
    There are flame jets on the side of the room. Jump to the left side to find a
    boulder. Push it past the flame jet (when it stops of course) and onto the
    switch. Now do the same with the boulder on the right.

    Finally, step on the switch in the center to make a black crystal appear.
    Summon Shade, then use Doppelganger to find a hidden time rift in the center
    walkway. Shoot it with an armlet beam, then step through.

    -> BLUE GEM #15
       You'll appear in a room with several Spiked Wheels and two switches. Step
       on one switch and use Doppelganger. Control the fake Ali onto the other
       switch to make two chests appear in the middle of the room. One of the
       treasure chests contains the final Blue Gem.

    You'll find a Small Key in the other chest, so take it and exit the room to
    the north (jump down off of the ledge and enter the room on the right). Exit
    this room quickly and jump over the spike pits. Dismiss Shade and drop down
    in the hole again to appear in front of the blue door. Go on through using
    the key. Walk down and exit to the balcony.

    Defeat the Swordsman and use fire-based weapons to destroy the icicles in
    your path, but make sure to leave at least one so you can summon Shade (or
    just summon him before destroying the icicles). Defeat the Ogre, soldiers,
    Gremlins, and the Raptor here. Phew. Now, use Doppelganger and have the fake
    Ali walk over the large spike pit. Hit the switch on the other end to make
    the spikes retreat, then cross through. Defeat the Raptor and Ghost, then
    continue to the left.

    Defeat the Bomb Soldiers up here and have Shade latch onto the post to the
    left. Cross over and defeat the Bomb Soldiers here as well. If you have any
    Bombs left, use them on the Elite Knight below. Hell, the Bomb Soldiers
    usually do the job themselves.

    -> BLACK GEM #15
       After all enemies here are defeated, two chests will appear on both the
       left and right side of the room. Use Dark Claw to reach the chest on the
       right side to find the last Black Gem.

    -> GREEN GEM #14
       After all enemies here are defeated, two chests will appear on both the
       left and right side of the room. Use Dark Claw to reach the chest on the
       left side to find a Green Gem.

    After both Gems have been collected, continue to the exit. Walk to the
    southwest end of the balcony and drop down to reach a small grassy path.
    Defeat the Archer Soldier at the end and continue south. Defeat the Ghost
    here and dismiss Shade. Summon Bow and have him tear down the steel gate,
    then head through.

    Dismiss Bow and summon Dytto from the crap-colored water to the left. Have
    her extinguish the flame wall, then dismiss Dytto. Summon Shade from the
    icicle next to you and climb the stairs to the next room. Use Doppelganger
    and have the fake Ali walk down the windy walkway. Pass by all of the enemies
    and hit the switch to have Bombs destroy the Archer Soldiers on the high
    ledges. Return to Ali and defeat the Turrets and Elite Knights that rush
    towards you.

    -> GREEN GEM #15
       After all enemies in the windy hallway are defeated, a chest will appear at
       the northern end. Run north against the wind and open the chest for the
       final Green Gem!

    The doorway beyond leads to Silver Armlet. If you need to, return to the
    water and summon Dytto to heal up. You can also save your game on the outside
    areas of the castle, so I suggest that you do so. Heal up and save your game
    (then summon Shade again), then go through the red door to reach Silver
    Armlet!

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Silver Armlet
    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

     Silver Armlet will send some of his minions down to fight you. Defeat the
     Ogre, Raptor, Swordsman, and the Elite Knight to truly start the battle. I
     must say, this battle is simply one giant clusterfu-- well, it's crazy. The
     battle will usually consist of Silver Armlet summoning enemies to help kill
     you. Equip your best Sword and head for Silver Armlet. Most of the enemies
     can be dispatched in one or two hits, but Silver Armlet will do that for you.

     When you see Silver Armlet levitate in the air, he will release a burst of
     light, killing all enemies onscreen and damaging you. This is the best
     opening for you to attack, since he will float in the air for a second before
     utilizing the attack. Silver Armlet will dash around the screen and use some
     strange weapons on you. He will attack you with shurikens, knives, and a
     flail-type weapon which can extend out to hit you.

     It's pretty funny, I found this to be the easiest fight in the entire game.
     I didn't use one healing item and I simply ran after Silver Armlet and hacked
     him to pieces with my Death Sword. Ignore any enemies and continuously follow
     Silver Armlet. Keep pursuing Silver Armlet and slashing him with a strong
     weapon to end the fight with ease. And when I say "with ease", I mean it.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

    Silver Armlet will admit defeat, then run into the next room. Heal up if you
    need to, then enter the next room to start the true battle.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Agito
    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

     The room will be dark, but eventually lights up to reveal Agito's hideous
     body. In short, he is some giant green ogre monster thing with many limbs
     and tentacles. Yeah, gross. The fight isn't really that hard, to my surprise.
     Agito has several tentacles connected to him that rise from the waters. Walk
     to the left or right side of the arena to find them; they're hard to miss.
     The ugly things will shoot out energy balls, so avoid them and slice up
     the tentacles.

     Explosive Slimes will also rise from the muck. These things will explode if
     you walk near one, so I found it easiest to quickly run by one to make it
     explode. Keep killing tentacles to make Agito's head stick out. When it does,
     target the neck with Jumping Kicks and Jumping Slashes. Beware; when you're
     attacking Agito, Explosive Slimes will be crawling towards you. Run away when
     you get surrounded.

     Agito also likes to rear his head back and close his eyes. When he does this,
     the evil god will spit out a stream of fire. Not only can this damage you,
     but the fire also detonates any Explosive Slimes in the vicinity. Make sure
     to run to either the far left or far right to avoid the fire.

     After a while, Agito's head will stick back into its shoulders and some more
     tentacles will rise from the yucky water. Continue attacking the tentacles
     and wait for Agito to expose his long neck. Remember to use your strongest
     Sword and summon Dytto from the water if you need a quick healing. Overall,
     the battle against Agito really isn't that hard. I came out almost totally
     unscathed, but keep up the process to kill the god.

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-

    Once Agito is destroyed, the water will dry up and Silver Armlet will fall to
    the ground. The armlet falls off of the body, as does the hood, revealing
    none other than Ali's elder sister: Gywn! It looks like she is alive, and she
    was the one terrorizing the world!

    She was possessed by the Silver Armlet, but finally got her memories back.
    The Spirits thank Ali for all the good he has done. Bow creates a time rift
    that will return him to his own world. Gwyn tells Ali that even though she
    was possessed by an evil being, she still performed evil acts. She decides
    to atone for her sins and stays in the Shadow World, but leaves Ali with a
    message: Agito and the minions of the Silver Armlet are gone forever. She
    pushes him into the time rift, and the Gold Armlet falls off of his arm...

    Ali returns to his home and is proclaimed a hero. His father and sister are
    fine and well. Gwyn is shown carrying the Silver and Gold Armlet, and locks
    them away forever. Ali is not only a hero, but now a king. The kingdom of
    Oasis is peaceful under his rule.

    Good job on beating Beyond Oasis! I hope this guide has helped you.

     SWORDS
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    My favorite type of weapon in the game (even more than the Knife). The Sword
    has a long range for a handled weapon and can be used in many different combos
    and moves. They are powerful when used close-up against an enemy, and are all-
    around good weapons to use in most situations.

     Sword - A regular sword. Damage of 5.

     Broad Sword - A more powerful sword found. Damage of 6.

     Death Sword - A rare and strong sword. Damage of 7.

     Omega Sword - The strongest sword in the game. Has the ability to set enemies
                   on fire. Infinite Omega Sword available. Damage of 8.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     BOWS
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Bows are best used when you need to target something from afar. They can come
    in handy in some rare situations, but they really get the job done during one
    (such as the battle with the Doomsday Sorcerer). Still, Bows are my least
    favorite weapon in the game. Though I must say, the Atomic Bow is badass.

     Bow - A regular bow. Damage of 3.

     Fire Bow - A more powerful bow that can set enemies on fire. Infinite Fire
                Bow available. Damage of 4.

     Metal Bow - A powerful bow that has the ability to pass through multiple
                 enemies. Infinite Metal Bow available. Damage of 5.

     Atomic Bow - One of the most powerful weapons in the game; it will explode
                  on contact. Infinite Atomic Bow available. Damage of 8.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     BOMBS
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Bombs are nothing short of a fun weapon to use, especially in a large crowd
    of people. They can also be used to activate switches before exploding. Other
    than being cool weapons, they aren't that useful. Bombs have a short range,
    take long to detonate, and aren't that powerful.

     Bomb - A regular bomb, which has a small blast range. Damage of 3.

     Power Bomb - A powerful bomb that takes a while to detonate. It has a
                  moderate blast range Damage of 5.

     Atomic Bow - The most powerful bomb, which has a large blast range. Infinite
                  Hyper Bomb available. Damage of 8.

    [6] SPIRITS                                                             [0600]

    ==============================================================================

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     DYTTO
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Dytto is a small pixie girl donned in blue clothing. She is the first Spirit
    you find and is great for beginners, mostly for her healing ability. To be
    honest, I think Dytto is the most useless Spirit aside from her healing
    ability. She can be summoned from water and can be used to extinguish fire.

     Element: Water
     Color:   Blue
     Found:   Water Shrine

     Bubble - This attack is probably Dytto's most useful attack. Press A to have
              her unleash a bubble in her direction. Can be used to stun enemies
              and extinguish flames of sorts. It's useful for the sole fact that
              you can freeze enemies in their tracks -- even bosses!

     Healing - One of the most useful abilities in the game. Press A twice for
               Dytto to heal Ali. She releases a watery spark that heals Ali when
               it hits him. I mean, what else is there to say? Great technique to
               use in a pickle, and helpful for beginners.

     Water Tornado - Press and hold A for a second, then let go to have Dytto turn
                     into a large water tornado. She will proceed to spin around
                     the room in a quick fashion, damaging any enemy and putting
                     out any flame she comes in contact with. Overall, it's not
                     very useful, since you have little control to where she goes.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     EFREET
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Efreet is a giant flying flame with a head and arms. He's the biggest Spirit
    and pretty hard to miss. Efreet is a powerful ally and can destroy most
    enemies with ease, but he can be annoying at times. You will need to use him
    for many puzzles and minigames, but he is very hard to control. He can punch
    enemies if he comes close to them, which deals a lot of damage. Efreet can be
    summoned from any type of fire.

     Element: Fire
     Color:   Red
     Found:   Waterfall Shrine

     Fire Breath - A somewhat useful attack. Press A to have Efreet stop in his
                   tracks and breathe a stream of fire in front of him. It has a
                   nice range, whether it be for lighting fires or scorching foes.
                   It really isn't good to use for either damaging enemies, stick
                   to using it when solving a puzzle.

     Fireball - This is a cool technique. If you press A twice, Efreet will turn
                into a fireball and zip in the direction that you're facing. This
                is a very quick attack and can be used in succession in order to
                travel a long distance or fly through enemies. This is the only
                way to take part in the Efreet Race minigame. Overall, a pretty
                darn awesome attack.

     Rain of Flames - Another awesome attack at Efreet's disposal. If you hold A
                      and let go a second later, Efreet will stop and shoot flames
                      from his body in all directions. This attack is best used in
                      a full room of enemies or if you need to light multiple
                      fires. His best attack by far.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     SHADE
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Shade is a black shadow that takes your form and well... acts as your shadow.
    When being used, he is a lanky shadow that has large claws. Otherwise, he
    looks like a double. Shade is good for taking the blunt of most attacks and
    has some very useful techniques. Shade is one of the best Spirits around if
    you simply need help in staying alive. Sure, he doesn't attack enemies, but
    he is always there to help Ali when in a tough situation. Shade can be
    summoned from any reflective object, whether it be a mirror or an icicle.

    I'd also like to mention some special abilities that Shade possesses. Other
    than taking some attack for Ali, he can also prevent him from falling off of
    a cliff or into a hole. If you do so, Shade will pick you up and drop you off
    where you fell. Obviously this is very useful, but you will need to dismiss
    him if you NEED to fall through a hole in order to progress through a level.

     Element: Dark
     Color:   Black
     Found:   Volcano

     Dark Claw - When you press A, Shade will extend out and grab with his big
                 claws. This technique is incredibly useful, as it's the only way
                 to cross large gaps (if they have posts on the other end) and to
                 grab out-of-reach treasure chests. You will most likely be using
                 this attack the most.

     Doppelganger - Shade will turn into a fake version of Ali and will be able to
                    walk around. You will be invincible while this happens, but
                    Shade cannot jump or attack. Really only used to activate a
                    switch or some sort of puzzle. You can also find invisible
                    time rifts. In short, this attack is really only used when
                    progressing through the game.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     BOW
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Bow is my favorite Spirit; not for his abilities, but he looks so damn cool.
    Bow is a large venus fly trap with a big head. He always makes funny faces
    when standing around. Bow is interesting for the fact that he doesn't follow
    you around; he pops out of the ground and stays there unless you have him
    burrow near you. He may be stationary, but throw him in the middle of a group
    of enemies to bite them all. Bow can be summoned from small, moving plants
    that resemble Bow.

     Element: Wood
     Color:   Green
     Found:   Forest Shrine

     Bite - When you press A, Bow will rear its head and bite in the direction
            that you're facing. If he's close to something edible, then he will
            automatically bite it. The attack is powerful, but mostly used in
            order to eat steel gates.

     Burrow - Another useful technique, for the sole fact that it's the only way
              to move Bow. Press A twice to have Bow burrow under the ground and
              pop up next to you. Its only use is to move Bow, so I guess it's
              useful. This is how you get Bow to move next to steel doors.

     Toxic Pollen - Bow will shoot out bursts of pollen from his head, which slows
                    down everything on the screen, including yourself. Overall it
                    is a neat idea, but not really useful. At all. Sure, you can
                    slow down stuff, but so are you. The attack won't end until
                    your SP is depleted, so it lasts a while.

    -> BLUE GEM #1 (Location: Overworld)
       Exit the castle and leave the town the same way you came in. Go east to the
       next area, then proceed towards the east end to reach the bridge leading to
       your hometown. Walk north past the bridge to find a small rock hill leading
       down into the river. Climb down into the river, then crouch down onto the
       ground and pass under the bridge.

       Press the A button while aiming at one of the walls to summon Dytto. Then
       aim for the raging fire in the center and shoot a bubble at it to reveal a
       chest. Open the chest to find a Blue Gem. Gems will power up its designated

       With Shade by your side, go west to the area near the entrance to the
       Waterfall Shrine. Use Doppelganger to find a time rift nearby. Dismiss

     GREEN GEMS                                                             [0704]
    ==============================================================================

       game started off. Open it for your first Green Gem.

       Once the room is cleared of Zombies, Tentacle Blobs, Flame Chains, and
       Raptors, four chests will fall down to the ground. One of them contains
       a Green Gem.

    -> GREEN GEM #3 (Location: Castle)
       You will appear on a small ledge overlooking the a room in the castle. Open
       the treasure chest here for your third Green Gem.

    -> GREEN GEM #4 (Location: Castle Dungeon)
       Defeat the Parasite Worm in the center of the room for a Green Gem.

    -> GREEN GEM #5 (Location: Castle Dungeon)
       A giant mass of Blue and Brown Gels will fall from the ceiling. They can
       be tricky to defeat, so I recommend the use of a Sword to kill them. Once
       the room is cleared of Gels, a treasure chest will appear in the center.
       Open said chest for another Green Gem.

    -> GREEN GEM #6 (Location: Castle Dungeon)
       There are two chests down here in the water, and the one on the right is a
       Mimic. Defeat it (along with the Bats that fly down to you) and open the
       other chest for a Green Gem.

    -> GREEN GEM #7 (Location: Overworld)

       another Green Gem.

    -> GREEN GEM #8 (Location: Overworld)

       an infinite weapon. No other details at the moment.

    -> GREEN GEM #12 (Location: Non-Entity's Cave)
       After summoning Shade via the icicle, use Dark Claw to reach the chest
       behind the three rocks. Pull over the Green Gem and take it.

    -> GREEN GEM #13 (Location: Non-Entity's Cave)
       After all Ogres are gone, a green switch will appear. Step on it to release
       three chests from the ceiling. One contains a Green Gem.

       After all enemies in the windy hallway are defeated, a chest will appear at
       the northern end. Run north against the wind and open the chest for the
       final Green Gem!

     ENEMIES                                                                [0801]
    ==============================================================================

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> ARCHER SOLDIER

    Archer Soldiers are very common enemies that you encounter throughout the
    entire game. They will attack you by shooting out arrows in your direction.
    The arrows can be slashed away, but it's best to jump over them. Archer
    Soldiers will also crack you over the head with their fist if you get up too
    close. Overall, some of the easier enemies (along with most soldiers).

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> BALL LIGHTNING

    Ball Lightning are small sparks that float around the arena and constantly
    follow you. They are usually found in large groups later in the game. When you
    attack one, it will split into two small ones. After that, one slash is all it
    takes to defeat a Ball Lightning.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> BAT

    Bats are nuisances and can easily be taken out with one slash or kick. They
    fly around caves and dungeons and do nothing else. You'll get hurt if you
    collide with one, but utilize a Jumping Kick to defeat them.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> BOMB SOLDIER

    Bomb Soldiers are fun enemies. They can throw different types of Bombs at
    you, so avoid them or slash them back at the soldier. Most Bomb Soldiers have
    rather bad aim and end up hitting their own comrades with their Bombs.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> ELITE KNIGHT

    These armored foes are encountered later in the game. They have shields which
    can be used to block your attacks, but they can be destroyed. Elite Knights
    wield giant maces and can be swung at you from a distance. They are also
    speedy for their size and can charge at you from afar. A funny note: you can
    summon Shade off of their shiny armor.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> EVIL RAT

    The most primary enemies in the game, Evil Rats rise from the ground and will
    attack you with their stick. They are slow and weak enemies, so a flurry of
    slashes is more than enough to put them away.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> EXPLODING GOO

    Only seen in the final battle with Agito, Exploding Goos will slowly chase
    after you and explode when you come close to them. When they start flashing,
    run away before you get caught in the blast. There's no need to kill them,
    since, you know, they do it on their own. :P

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> FLAME CHAIN

    Flame Chains are large fireballs that are segmented together. They quickly
    fly around rooms and can be tough to hit. If you collide with one, you will
    get hurt. Use a long-range weapon to take them out before they burn you
    alive. Don't use fire weapons or Efreet, since fire heals them.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> GARGOYLE

    Gargoyles are large flying beasts that will usually carry Gremlins with them.
    They will stop flying, then proceed to swoop down at you. Use this time to
    attack them when they're close to the ground. If not, you can use jumping
    attacks to slowly defeat them.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> GEL

    Gels come in a wide variety of colors, but I'm pretty sure they're all the
    same. They can flop around like the piles of jelly that they are and also
    shoot balls of goo at you from a distance. You will most likely encounter
    them in big groups. Kicks tend to work the best against these tiny monsters.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> GHOST

    Ghosts are originally seen as gray fog, but come out from hiding whenever a
    Spirit is in sight. They can sap your SP when they touch a Spirit (they turn
    blue when doing so), so kill them with combos and jumping attacks before they
    suck all your SP away.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> GREMLIN

    Gremlins are usually found accompanied by Gargoyles. They can stab you with
    their long horns or shoot small egg-looking projectiles at you. They are very
    good at hopping around, so keep on them and use jumping slashes against them.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> MIMIC

    Mimics are very rare (you only find a handful in the game) and are disguised
    as treasure chests. If you walk up to one, it will try and bite you. They are
    easily dispatched with a few slashes.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> OGRE

    Ogres are large enemies that are commonly found throughout the game. They can
    jump in the air and slam down on your with their massive behind. Ogres can
    also pimp-slap you into submission if you get too close to them. Also, they
    have a final attack which involves them picking you up and tossing you to the
    side. It's best to attack them from the side or behind, but they become
    incredibly easy to defeat later in the game (when you're big and buff).

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> PARASITE WORM

    Parasite Worms are rare and very dangerous enemies. They pop out of the
    ground and latch onto you with their fanged mouth. They will then proceed to
    suck your HP -- repeatedly press all buttons to escape. They are stationary
    enemies, so use a powerful Sword to slice them when they pop out of the
    ground to attack.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> PILL BUG

    Pill Bugs can be annoying enemies. Usually found in groups, these bugs will
    curl up into a ball and roll into you. Pill Bugs can also stick out their
    long tongue to smack you around. You cannot damage them when rolled up, so
    wait for one to hit a wall and detract. That is the time to attack.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> SNAKE

    Snakes can bite you and also, strangely enough, puff up and explode in a
    fiery fashion. Didn't know snakes could do that. Anyways, use a couple kicks
    to the skull to put them away. Fairly weak enemies.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> SOLDIER

    These guys are like the other soldiers...except they have no weapons. They
    can punch you, but they have to be the weakest enemy in the game. Can be
    eliminated in many, many different ways.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> SPEAR SOLDIER

    Spear Soldiers wield a long spear which can be used to impale you. Most are
    found in groups and tend to charge at you full-speed. Dash out of the way and
    attack their backside for an easy kill.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> SWORDSMAN

    Regular soldiers that are equipped with a sword. They are probably the
    toughest of the soldiers (other than Elite Knights, but they're knights...)
    and can unleash combos of their own. They have the ability to slash Bombs
    right back at you, so stick to a blade of your own to kill them.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> TENTACLE BLOB

    Tentacle Blobs are giant floating blobs with tentacles. As if you couldn't
    figure that out. Anyways, Tentacle Blobs are interesting enemies. They will
    collide with you, but slash them to fend them back. After damaging them, they
    will constantly get smaller and faster. Keep slashing Tentacle Blobs until
    they get so small that they ultimately explode.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> TURRET

    Turrets are stationary enemies that slowly shoot bullets. Most shoot in one
    direction, but others can shoot while rotating their base. Some Turrets are
    so advanced that they can even home onto your location and attack. The best
    way to deal with Turrets (especially the ones that shoot in one direction) is
    to get up close and personal.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> WIZARD

    Just like Wizzrobes from the Zelda series, these cloaked sorcerers will
    appear, shoot a projectile, then disappear. Some fire energy balls, while
    some shoot out fireballs. Some Wizards even summon a trail of fire that
    follows you until disappearing afterwards (or hitting you). Wizards always
    stay in the same position and don't appear until you enter their line of
    sight. It's best to run close to one, then step into its line of sight.
    Before it gets a chance to attack, slash and repeat the process until dead.

    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
     -> ZOMBIE

    Zombies rise from the ground and usually come in large packs. They will
    slowly advance towards you and smack you around with their hands. After
    dealing around half of their health, the Zombie will disconnect from its
    lower body and crawl on the ground. Now use kicks to dispose of them. To
    easily defeat Zombies, use fire-based items or Efreet.

     BOSSES                                                                 [0820]

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Infernal Skull

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Rock Golem

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Mega Serpent

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Fire Dragon

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Doomsday Sorcerer

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Evil Eyes

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
     BOSS: Silver Armlet

    =-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-=-=+=-
