Caps?

I am trying to get more caps in my game. I have heard and used Black Mountain as a place to find high value weapons in the past but that was in my old game. I have started a new one and for some reason the super mutants dont spawn any more around the area. The Black Mountain radio does not have Tabithas broadcast going. Is this why super mutants wont spawn any more or is this a glitch?

I haven't heard of that glitch before but unless you already completed that quest it is a bug. The only wasy to solve it could be clearing your cache or restarting a new game.

However if it's caps your after, consider getting a high luck and playing blackjack at the casinos. over 50k caps can be earned this way.

The super mutants and Nightkin of Black Mountain should respawn even after the quest is complete, with all weapons.

The patched glitch at the Vikki and Vance casino in primm causes the chips to not be removed from your inventory and can be cashed in repeatedly

If you are on good terms with the Brotherhood one of the members will tell you that they will give you recycled energy ammo in a case by the enterance to the bunker (brotherhood part) more will be added every time you enter the bunker if you don't use energy weapons you can sell the ammo to the quatermaster

the lonsome road and dead money DLCs can help
Dead Money after finishing 100 chips will be added to the dropbox every so many days which you can use to buy stuff and sell back to merchants for caps

Lonesome Road adds a perk which at a certain rank allows ED-E to make Satchel charges if you have a high explosives skill and can make three everyday which you can then sell for a fair price

if your looking for caps, watch the VAL of each item (assuming its not stacked). then find a trader such as the gun runners robot who has that much on hand

as for Black Mountain Radio, they might have to meet a specific quest completion requirement, though im not sure what it is
