achievements and I'll be done with this game.  I'll still take e-mail
reguarding this game though.  I also added a couple of alterative methods for
getting the Level achievements/trophies.

10/12/2011: Corrected a few mistakes I found in the guide.  I also added a way
to get the first two warheads in the area before Ulysses' Temple without

10/11/2012: Well, never thought I update this guide again.  Especially since
it'll be (almost) 1 year since I last updated this guide.  Anyway, I just
made a few minor corrections, nothing special here, though their is an update
to one of the achievements/trophies that extends what the rewards for beating
that mission were.

Hey Guys, welcome to my next guide in my series of works.  As you can tell
from my user name, my name is Gamer364.  This guide is designed to help all
players playing this game unlock all the achievements/trophies (including the
DLC ones).  I know there's an achievement guide on GameFAQs already, but it
didn't include the DLC achievements/trophies at the time of writing this, so I
figured I try to write one.  I know you guys probably don't like long Intros,
so I'll get on with the guide already.

Warring: This guide can and will contain spoillers.  I will do my best to not
spoill stuff from the game, but sometimes it just can not be helped, so read
at your own risk.

Achievement/Trophy difficulty (on a scale of 1 through 5, 5 being the

Number of Missable Achievements/Trophies: A lot

Details: This game itself is not that hard once you get the hang of it (that
or if you played Fallout 3 before) but the achievements/trophies can be a bit
tricky.  The most playthroughs you could get 100% is 4, but depending on how
many times you use reload from the save before you make your choice of who is
going to rule New Vegas (moments after you first enter the Vegas strip the
latest), you could beat this in as little as 1.  However, I would suggest
that you do 4 playthroughs anyway, because you'll need to focus on certain
skills and weapon specializations for certain achievements/trophies anyway.
This game does have a lot of missable achievements/trophies, but if you know
where to turn to, you shouldn't have too much trouble getting them.  Here are
a couple of links you could use to help you on your way to getting 100%.

This guide goes into detail with the main game, as well as the side quests
required for some of the achievements/trophies and the side quests you can do
for fun.  At the time of posting this however, it didn't include the DLC
quests.  This guide was written by Absolute Steve.


How to bulid your character

Note: All this is nothing more than a suggetion, so you can bulid your
character anyway you wish.

When you determine you S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats, you always want your Intelligence
at 10.  There are stat boosting items called implants (which work exactly like
bobbleheads, only you have to pay for them and they are in one location (more
details in a bit)), but there's almost no way you can get to the New Vegas
Clinc (which is where the implants are at), have enough money to buy them and
not level up.

Update: Actually, there is one way to get all of the Intelligence Implant
without leveling up even one time.  Here's my way of going about this, while
minimizing the number of locations found in the game.

Note: It helps to have the Skilled Trait from Old World Blues, because you get
10% fewer exp. then usual.  Also, don't fight anyone; you'll get unnessary
exp.  Finally, it helps if you have a map of all of the areas in the Mojave
Wasteland (Fallout's version of Las Vagas for this game).  Here's a link to
one map I found on GameFAQs.  It assumes that your playing the PS3 version,
and it was created by jekoln.

1. When creating your character, set your Intelligence to 9 instead of 10 like
I mentioned when I first posted this.  Rearrange you S.P.E.C.I.A.L. anyway you
wish, and proceed through the character creation process as normal.

2. You'll start off at Goodsprings for story-related reasons.  Find a
Watertower in the distance and head on over there.  You'll find Goodsprings
Cemetery.  Here, you'll find a Snowglobe, which when you give it to Jane, she
will give you 2000 Caps (Fallout's currency).  You should have visited 2
locations so far.

3. Then go to your Pip-Boy, make sure you are on the World Map, then create a
marker for Helios One (undiscovered) and make your way there.  If your unsure
where that's at, it'll be North of Nipton.  You will be asked if you want to
change anything about your character.  Do this if you want, but countinue as
usual.  You'll go through Hidden Valley as you head on over there, making it 4
locations discovered.

Note: It's possible that you may run into Scorpion Gulch as you head on over
there.  As long as you don't "Discover" it, you should be okay.  Also, it may
be possible to cut-through the Quary indirectly by heading north, avoiding
these two locations all together.  Be careful if you try to do this however,
because there are Deathclaws running around there, and at level 1, they can
kill you easily (I know, I got killed by one of them while looking for the
Star Bottle Caps for the "Legend of the Star/A Lesson Learned" Quest and I
think I was at a higher level).  I'm going to assume that you cut through
Hidden Valley.

4. Set a marker to the New Vegas Clinc (directly East is the Crimson Caravan
Company), and head North from Helios One.  It's posible that you'll run into
Vault 11.  If you were worried that you might hit El Dorado Dry Lake as you
head on over there, then don't worry about it too much, you have room for
error (by that, I mean you can visit a few unnessary before hiting level 2
prematurely).  I'll assume that you missed both of those locations.  You'll
find the 188 Trading Post, but that one's avoidable by going around it.  By
the time you discover the Clinc, you should have found 5 locations (4 from the
previous steps, and 1 you just discovered).

5. Next set your marker to Camp McCarran (northeast of that is NCR Sharecopper
Farms), and head there.  You'll spot the location mentioned last sentence, but
you can go around to your left (heading south) along the abandon houses.  Camp
McCarran should be your only new location by the time you head on over there,
so enter the door you see when you discover your location (my path from the
Clinc was South, go around the NCR Sharecopper, West, then South until
location discovered, and finally head through the door).

6. From the door, head inside the Camp McCarran terminal building, then take
the non-funtioning esclator then head through the door to the Monorail.  NCR
personnel will tell you that you can't go in there, but ignore them.  They
will shoot at you, but as long as you didn't take too much damage, you should
be okay.  No one will attack you when you get to the NCR station in the Strip
(the Casino Strip, not that other Strip you pervert).

7. You'll be stopped by Victor as you roam around Strip.  He'll tell you that
Mr. House is opening the Lucky 38 to you and you should go see him.  Say
anything you want to him and he'll be waiting for you at the entrance to the
Lucky 38.  Anyway, this step is optional, if you want to get 2000 addtional
caps or to shorten the amount of time you get the Intelligence Implant.  The
Intelligence Implant cost 4000 caps, and Jane is in the Lucky 38 casino.
Anyway, head through a gate to your left and head into the Valut 21.  You'll
find a female named Sarah Weintraub.  The Snowglobe is in her room, but you
need a Lockpick skill of at least 50, which I assume that skill isn't high
enough.  Instead, you have to Pickpocket her Keycard off her.  Make sure you
save before attempting this though.  When you manage to get the Keycard off of
her, you can Pickpocket other items off her, but don't get greedy, or you'll
get caught.  Head into the Vault itself, and find her room.  Use the Keycard,
and grab the Snowglobe.  Exit the Vault after getting the Snowglobe.

8. Head to your right (or left if you entered Vault 21) and head towards
Victor.  Tell him that your ready to see him and enter the casino.  You can
explore the casino area if you want, but head on over to Victor (he's guarding
the elevator this time).  Talk to him and a pop-up menu will give you a choice
of where you want to go.  The Penthouse floor is your only option at the
momment (other than leaving of course), so select that.  You'll see Jane when
you exit the elevator, but ignore her for now; I don't believe that she'll put
the Snowglobes in the Presidental Suite that you get in a bit.  Besides,
you'll need to unlock the rest of the Lucky 38 for the Snowglobe here anyway.
At any rate, head on over to Mr. House and talk to him.  Say anything you want
to him and leave.  What the next step is going to be depends on what you did
eariler when you got to the strip.

If you picked up the Snowglobe from step 7, go to step 9.

If you didn't, or you just want to get the extra 2000 Caps, go to step 8a.

8a. Talk to Victor and he'll tell you that you have been given access to the
rest of Lucky 38, including the Presidental Suite I talked about earilier.  A
pop-up will then show up asking you where you want to go this time.  You have
a couple more options, but select the Cocktail Lounge.  When you get to that
floor, search behind various Cash Registers until you find a Snowglobe.  Pick
it up and head back to the Penthouse floor.

9. Talk to Jane and mention something about a Snowglobe Collection.  She'll
tell you that Mr. House is looking for them.  Turn in your Snowglobes and
she'll give you 4000-6000 caps (depending on how many Snowglobes you have).

10. Exit the Lucky 38, and you'll stoped by an NCR officer telling you that
the NCR's Ambassador wants to see you, but ignore it for it has nothing to do
with the Intelligence Implant.  Anyway, this step is optional, but
recommended, for you can just warp directly to the New Vegas Clinc.  However,
if you don't do this step and you need to head back to the Strip, you will
have to find it either by going through one of the gates leading to Freeside
or go through Camp McCarren again.  At any rate, head outside the Strip to
your right and go as far as you can until you discover the Stirp North Gate,
and make it your 7th location.  You'll be stopped by an NPC (Non-Playable
Character), so say whatever you like with him.

11. Warp to the New Vegas Clinc and head inside.  Talk to the Dr. Usanagi to
start a conversation with her.

Note: I'm not sure if it's just me, but sometimes she doesn't appear when I
enter the Clinc.  I found that waiting 2 hours game time (1 hour two seperate
times) makes her show up.

Mention something about Implants, and she'll tell you that she has SPECIAL
rasing implants, as well as 2 addtional implants, 1 that ups you Damage
Threshold, and 1 that gives you the abillity to regenerate health.  Say that
you want to buy an Implant and she'll also mention that your body may not be
able to handle too many surgeries (more details in a few paragraphs).  Your
interested in the Intelligence Implant, so say you want to buy that.  She'll
tell you that she'll give you the Implant for 4000 Caps, which you should have
that much (and more if you grabed all of the Snowglobes mentioned), so drop
the caps and you'll be at 10 Intelligence.

If done correctly, you should have visited 7 locations with 70 exp. (less if
you took the Old World Blues trait Skilled) 8 locations with 80 exp. (or lower
with Skilled) if you found Vault 11 by mistake and/or out of fear of hitting
El Dorado Dry Lake by mistake.  You could even have 5 locations found with 50
exp. if you took the Deathclaw route, which I didn't recommend that you did
so due to how weak you were at that point.


The reason for 10 Intelligence (or 9+1 with the Intelligence Implant), is
because you'll want to maximize the amount of skill points you get per level
up.  The rest of the S.P.E.C.I.A.L. stats are strongly up to you, but if you
plan to play on Hardcore mode, you'll want your Endurance at 10 as well for
the most health possible.


When taging skills you should have three of these skills taged unless you are
going after a certain achievement/trophy.

Guns (you will most likely use this as you play the game)
Medicine (more healing couldn't hurt)
Lockpick
Speech (the one I almost always tag)

Noteable skills to tag

Science
Barter
Energy Weapons
Surivial (you'll want to tag this if your playing in Hardcore mode)


You'll be able to pick traits after that.  You can opt not to, but you should
at least consider them.  You should pick one or two of these traits unless you
don't want any traits or you are after a certain bulid.

Good Natured
Kamikaze
Skilled*
Small Frame
Trigger Discipline
Wild Wasteland (for a more "interesting" Fallout experience)

*DLC Traits

Note: The Old World Blues DLC has one trait that alows you to keep your level
cap at 30 (or your current level if you already overshot it) known as "Logan's
Loophole".  The only reason I would see taking this trait is that you feel
that there are no other good perks to choose from after level 30.

I mentioned a few paragraphs back that the New Vegas Clinc has Implants that
you can purchase.  They are not cheap to buy however, as they range anywhere
from 4,000 to 12,000 bottle caps.  There are the SPECIAL stat increasing
implants (4,000 caps each), the damage threshold implant (8,000 caps) and the
health regeneration implant (12,000 caps).  How many you can buy depends on
how high your base Endurance stat is (up to a max of 9). If it's at one, then
you can only get 1 implant.  If it's at the default  (which is 5 for all
fallout games), then you get 5 implants.  If you decide to get the implants,
here's the ones you should avoid getting and the reasons behind them.

Endurance Implant - It doesn't let you go under the knife one more time, so it
is kind of pointless.  However, it does give you more health every time you
level up, so the usefullness of this Implant is up to you.

Intelligence Implant - If you have followed my advice for this stat, you
should be at 10 already, so it'll be a waste.  However, if you followed the
path I thought of for getting this, then you should be at 9 Intelligence,
allowing you to get this anyway (assmuing you have enough caps of course).

Regeneration Implant - It sounds like it would be an asset in Hardcore mode,
but you won't notice the difference that much.  A big waste of caps.  However,
it's pretty handy for if you are going to playthrough Dead Money (which you
are going to have to do at some point due to it having achievements/trophies),
due to how rare stimpaks are.

If you want to buy the implants, set your Endurance to 6, unless your playing
on Hardcore Mode or you want to buy all the implants.

As far as perks go, you get them once every other level (starting at level 2).
Which ones you pick is strongly up to you, but I would pick the Black Widow
perk if your a girl or the Confirmed Bachelor perk if your a guy at level 2.
You'll be able to do more damage on guys (well, 10% more but still), and there
are more guys in New Vegas then there are girls anyway.  When you hit level 4,
always, I repeat, ALWAYS take the Educated perk.  You'll get 2 addtional skill
points each time you level up.  That doesn't sound like much, but look at it
this way:

If you have your Intelligence at 10 like I suggested and taken this perk, you
will have spent a total of 52 skill points more than if you just had your
Intelligence at 10 by the time you reach level 30.  If you have the Dead
Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues and Lonesome Road (add-ons all DLCs
rasies the level cap by a combined total of 20), that number goes up to 92
unless you take the trait that limits your level cap to 30 or your current
level.

There are a couple of other perks I should mention.

Intense Training - This will let you boost one of your SPECIAL stats by one
and it can be taken up to 10 times.  The only reasons why you would pick this
is if...

A. There are no other perks you want, or...
B. There's another perk you want to pick but your one SPECIAL stat short of
what's required.

I have included two more reasons to take this Perk.

C. If you are looking to get more Implants, or...
D. If you are doing the Double Perks glitch (see The Boss' alterative methods
for details).

Comprehension - This will boost the number of skill points you (for a short
time) get double the skill points you get from reading magazines, and gain a
permenant 1 skill point towards a skill (depending on what magazine you read).
I wouldn't take this, because there are only so many books can find, and who's
got the time to go book hunting when they can do something like deciding who
rules New Vegas, or hunting Deathclaws.  *looks around to make sure there are
no Deathclaws present*  Anyway, some people might like this perk however, so
the useful this of this perk is strongly up to you.

There seems to be a bug with one of the achievements/trophies with the Old
World Blues DLC.  More details on that in the Old World Blues section of Part
5.

|  Part 4: The Game's Non-DLC Achievements/Trophies and How to unlock them   |

This is the Meat and potatoes of this guide.  One thing I'll mention is that
some of these tricks metioned may require you to clear your system of all of
the patches and click cancel to not take the patch in (I'm not sure if you can
get away with this in the PC version of the game).

Update: On the Xbox 360 version, the patch for this will come in a form of a
save file.  As such, the clear the system of all patches trick will not work.
However, there is a work around.  If you put this "Save file" on a Memory
Unit/USB Drive and remove it when you start the game or delete it all
together, you can still exploit these glitches.  It'll still ask for a patch,
and it'll still put it in the form of the save file, but you can still expolit
the game's good glitches.  I'm not sure if this would apply to the PS3 version
of the game or not.  This has been going on for a while now, but I haven't
tooken to the time to update the guide with this infomation.

1. New Kid
Description: Reach 10th level.
Achievement Points: 10G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Refer to The Boss.

2. Up and Comer
Description: Reach 20th level.
Achievement Points: 20G
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: Refer to The Boss.

3. The Boss
Description: Reach 30th level.
Achievement Points: 10G
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: Between the main game, the Dead Money, Honest Hearts, Old World Blues
and the final story based add-on Lonesome Road, the level cap is now at 50.
However, if you take the trait the Old World Blues DLC offers you, you can
limit your level cap to 30/Your current level.  At any rate, this and the
level 10 and 20 achievements/trohpies seems to be a bit of a grind, but it
came be made super easy if you use this bug.  Go through That Lucky Old Sun
sidequest as normal, until you get to get to the point when you have to decide
who you are going to "Configure Power Grid" for.  You have to choose the
option that says "Full Region, Emergency Output Level".  After that, go on as
normal until you talk to Ignacio Rivas.  Select the option that says "I
overloaded the plant.  No one will be able to use it to power a weapon."
You'll recive 350XP, 3 stimpaks, and 2 doctor's bags.  Here comes the buggy
part.  You'll noticed the option I just mentioned is not gone.  Click on it
again, and you'll get another 350XP, 3 stimpaks, and 2 doctor's bags.  You can
do this over and over again until you hit level 30 giving you the three
achievements/trophies.  You'll have a lot of stimpaks and doctor's bags by the
time you hit level 30.  Here's a video created by jmg28662 to better explan
this.

Note: This bug has been patched, so you are going to have to clear your system
of all patches in order to exploit this.  Also, since you have to clear your
system of all patches to do this bug, you won't be able to access Dead Money
nor any future DLC (or at least, it might not work properly), so keep that in
mind.

Alterative Method 1: There is another glitch that you can do that allows you
to hit level 30 and beyond, it can be used for the Double Perks glitch and
best of all, it not patched.  However, it is a bit slower then the orginal
method and the 2nd alterative method, but hey, at least you don't have to
delete any patches, and you'll knock out Outstanding Orator (if you don't
already have it) anyway.  You must have a Barter and/or Speech skill of at
least 25 in order to do this.  You must also have a Intelligence of at least
6.  That shouldn't be a problem if you have it set to 9 or 10.  The
Intelligence check might not be the only way to do this, but I haven't tested
it any other way.

1. At any rate, start the Back in the Sattle Intro quest.  Go as far as you
can with that quest until you can end the tutorial.

Note: You can go as far as you want with the intro quest, as it won't matter
in the end.

2. Enter the Prospector Saloon and you'll find Trudy (the Saloon manager) and
Joe Cobb (member of the Power Gangers) in an argument.  You can let them
finish it or talk to Trudy right away.  Ask her what the argument was all
about and she'll mention something about Ringo.  This will start the Ghost
Town Gunfight.  Ask her where he is if you want, but Ringo is hiding in the
Goodsprings Gas Station.

3. Head inside the gas station, and Ringo will talk to you.  Say what you want
to Ringo, kill him anyway you see fit, then leave the gas station.  This will
fail Ghost Town Gunfight.

Note: Make sure you take his Caravan Deck if you didn't talk to him about the
rules of Caravan before leaving.

4. This step is optional if you don't want to gang fame with the Power
Gangers.  Head into "Goodsprings general store" and purchase the Slienced .22
Pistol.

Update: It seems that you get Power Ganger Fame reguardless if you go through
with this optional step or not.  If anything, not doing this step will
ultimately make you a "Wild Child" to the Power Gangers.

5. Find Joe Cobb at a small white building at the southeast edge of
Goodsprings.  Tell him that you want to help him take over Goodsprings.  He'll
ask him why he would even want to take over the town, but use the Intelligence
check to convince him.  He'll then tell you to kill Ringo, but tell him that
you already took care of that (any other Dialogue option works just as well).
This will start the "Run Goodsprings Run" quest.

6. After that, talk to Joe Cobb.  He'll tell you to pick up some supplies for
the invasion.  Exit the conversation after that.  You must do this step, or
the glitch will not work.

7. Kill Joe Cobb and his followers.  If you purchase the pistol from step 4,
go into sneak mode (click the Left Ctrl stick), aim the pistol at Joe and
shoot.  This will kill Joe, not alert his followers, and therefore optional
targets.  No matter how you go about this step, you'll fail Run Goodsprings
Run.

8. Go to the general store again and talk to Chet.  You could go Doc
Mitchell's house and use your Medicine skill if it's at least at 25, but you
won't reap the benefits as much, because you can't sell the "Spare Medical
Supplies" due to the fact it's a quest item and it requires more clicks
anyway.  Save your game at this point if you don't want to double your perks.

9. Tell him that the Power Gangers need his stuff, but he wants no part of it.
Use your Barter (or Speech same effect) and he'll hand over 1 Leather Armor
and 30 9mm bullets and you'll gang 25 exp. If you killed Joe Cobb via
Slienced .22 Pistol, you'll also gang Power Ganger Fame.

Update: Again, even if you didn't do step 4, you'll get Power Ganger Fame
anyway.  If anything, the Power Gangers will label you as a "Wild Child" if
you didn't do step 4.

10. Here's the glitchy part.  The option doesn't go away because you killed
Joe Cobb, and if you click on it again and you'll get the same exact
Speech-type options as you would the first time.  Select the same option you
picked or the other one and you get the items, exp and fame mentioned again.

11. Repeat step 9 until you reach the level cap, hit level 30 (level 31 close
to 32 if you are going to take the Skilled trait) or your good with the level
you happend to be at.  You will get this achievement/trophy along with all of
the other level achievements/trophies at this point.

12. This step and the next one's optional if you don't want to double your
perks.  Head outside Goodsprings until the game asks you if you want to change
anything about your character.  Choose to rebulid your character, and choose
what ever you like about your character (make sure you have your Intelligence
at 10).

13. Get ready for a lot of level ups and score a lot of perks.

By the time you are done with this glitch, you'll have lots of Leather Armor
that you can wear and repair for the Jury Rigger achievement/trophy (assuming
you don't already have it) and enough 9mm ammo to last you the entire game
and more.  If for some reason you are running low on either the armor and/or
bullets (the former being more likely) you can do this glitch for more armor
and bullets.  

Note: Due to long process it takes just to even get to level 30 and you lose
your level 2 and 4 perks when you rebuild your character anyway, you'll want
to take 2 ranks of Swift Learner when you level up to those levels.  This is
also important if you took the Skilled Trait when you created your character
at the starting gate.  Also, if you don't have an high enough Barter and/or
Speech by the time you get to steps 8 or 9, level up to level 2 and up what
ever skill(s) you lacking at.  Furthermore, if you have the Lonesome Road DLC
installed, then you have a choice to make when you hit level 26.

There is a Perk called Lessons Learned which ups the amount of exp earned by
1% times your level like 26.  This perk sticks when rebuilding your
character, and you stop gaining exp when you hit the level cap, so you have to
decide if you want to speed this up even further or leave it alone.  If you
leave it alone, then go on as normal.  Finally, use of this glitch is not
recommend if you're playing on Hardcore mode due to the amount of weight the
bullets have.  For the list of what perks stick when you use this glitch or
the 2nd alterative, check out this link.  It has the list of all the other
expliots as well as this one, and the other mentioned in the guide.  This was

Alterative Method 2: There is one more glitched way to get the level
achievements/trophies as well as doubling your perks and it involves the use
of one simple item: Mantis Legs.  This however has been patched to my
knowledge, so you will have to remove the patch to expoit it.  Anyway, you can
find quite a few of them in the Goodsprings School, so kill them and take one
of their legs.  You can find other insects or a container for this glitch.
Make sure nothing besides the Mantis leg is in your Misc. items list.

Once you find a container, and you are properly prepaired, start doing the
swap.  You'll get the amount of exp based on what corpse it was in last (be it
people or animals).  Because of this, you'll want to find other exp sources.
Assuming it's still earily in the game (meaining you haven't left Goodsprings
completely yet), the best foe to do this will is with the Giant Radscorpions.
However, these foe are not exactly easy to kill at this point.  You can find
one outside Goodsprings Cemetery, but you have to get a lucky shot just to
even lure one over to your location.  Once that's done, make sure you kill it,
fast, because at your current level, you can get killed by the Radscorpion
pretty easily.

After that, drop the Mantis Leg (doing so will make so it has no exp. value),
pick it up and put it into the scorpion and take it back out.  Then proceed
with the glitch as normal.

Between the three glitched ways, the "Mantis Leg" glitch is fastest way to get
to level 30 and is better of the two alteratives for the perk doubling glitch.
The "That Lucky Old Sun" glitch is the best way to get to level 30 because of
the Doctor's Bags you get for when you cripple Limbs, which is important for
Hardcore Mode due to the fact that limbs can only be healed by Doctor's Bags.
And the "Run Goodsprings Run" glitch is good for you want to double your perks
and hit level 30 without having to remove the patches.

By the way, as a third alternative, you can get them all legit by doing all
the quests you can get your hands on.  I know it was a lot longer than what
was when I first posted this and updated it with new DLC stuff, but hey I put
up more tricks you can use to glitch your way to level 30 right?

Guide: This one seems ridiculous, but it's actually easy as hell.  If you took
the time to do the Back at the Sattle intro quest, you should have more then
enough ammo to get this.  Find a reloading station (there's one at GoodSprings
at the side of the weapons shop), and breakdown 20+ ammo (breaking down stuff
counts as crafting) and you'll unlock this.

7. Mod Machine
Description: Install 20 weapon mods.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: I can't understand why Bethesda Softworks thought this was a good idea,
because weapons such as guns are good enough without the weapon mods, but I
guess it's better than the orignal verion of this (see part 6 to know what I'm
talking about).  Anyway, you need to find 20 weapon mods for various weapons
and install them.  You can buy them at various shops, but only if you have the
money to pay for them.  It'll unlock once weapon mod number 20 has been
installed.

8. Walker of the Mojave
Description: Discover 50 locations.
Achievement Points: 10G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Refer to Master of the Mojave.

9. Master of the Mojave
Description: Discover 125 locations.
Achievement Points: 25G
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: I'm not sure how to explain this, but here goes.  There are way more
locations in the game then the number that's required for each
achievement/trophy, but it you will not likely to get 125 locations before the
end of your final playthrough.  You just need to roam around the wasteland
until you hit the number of locations needed for each achievement/trophy.
Having the Explorer perk can and will help out with this, as it shows you all
the locations in the game.

10. Globe Trotter
Description: Discover all snow globes.
Achievement Points: 25G
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: There are 7 Snowglobes to find in the game.  You don't need the add-on
snowglobes, unless it's for the sake of having an entire collection.  You
don't need to sell them to anyone either, just find them.  Using in-game mods
I read can disable this achievement/trophy (rather this is a glitch I don't
know, but to be safe, don't do Mod Machine before you find the snowglobes).
Here are the locations for all of them for the main game.

1. Goodsprings - You'll find this in Goodsprings Cemetery on a grave where you
were "killed" at.  It'll be the one with all the rubble on it.

2. Hoover Dam - You'll find this on the welcome desk when you first walk in.

3. Mormon Fort - You'll find this in Old Mormon Fort in a tower to your right.
It'll be upstairs on a shelf.

4. Mt. Charleston - This one's in Jacobstown.  When you enter Jacobtown lodge,
it'll be sitting on the reception desk.

5. Nellis AFB - You can find this one in Nellis Air Force Base inside the
Nellis Boomer Museum.  It'll be to your right when you enter the Museum.

6. Test Site - This one can be found in the Lucky 38 casino.  Take an elevator
to the cocktail lounge.  It'll be behind a cash register with a green lamp
next to it.

7. The Strip - This one's at Valut 21 in the vegas strip.  You'll find it in
a lock pick-able room (you need a lock pick skill of at least 50 in order to
enter it).

Note: I have not included the DLC snowglobes, because as mentioned before,

11. You Run Barter Town
Description: Sell 10,000 caps worth of goods.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This one seems drawn out, but it's actually not that bad (especially if
you exploited the bug mentioned 8 achievements/trophies ago, as that will make
this somewhat easier).  Despite what the Description says, you can buy stuff
as well, and it'll count towards the achievement/trophy.

12. Blast Mastery
Description: Cause 10,000 damage with Energy Weapons.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: For all the damage achievements/trophies, you must make sure you do at
least 10,000 points worth of damage with all of the weapons (or in the case of
Explosives, bombs).  This one is for Energy Weapons.  Here's a link below for
how to get all the damage achievements/trophies plus the healing ones.

Warring: If you use this method with Explosives, make sure you don't cause
splash damage (it happends sometimes) or people will attack you.  A
work-around for this is to make a save before you fight the Giant
Radscorpions, and reload if you somehow cause splash damage.  Other
work-arounds are listed in the link.  I was using a Missle Launcher and some
Dynamite when I got number 13 and I seem to cause splash damage with the
Dynamite, and caused no splash damage with the Missle Launcher at all.

13. Love the Bomb
Description: Cause 10,000 damage with Explosives.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Refer to Blast Mastery.  This one requries you to do 10,000 points
worth of damage with Bombs.  Bombs like the C4 explosives and a Missle
Launcher, as well as having a high explosives skill will help you here.

14. Lead Dealer
Description: Cause 10,000 damage with Guns.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Refer to Blast Mastery.  This one requries you to do 10,000 points
worth of damage with Guns.  You'll most likely get this as you progress
through the game, but if by some miracle you don't, you could use the link
mentioned in Blast Mastery to finish the job.

15. No Tumbler Fumbler
Description: Pick 25 locks.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Refer to Hack the Mojave, but this one's easier compared to that
achievement/trophy (again refer to that achievment/trophy to know why).  You
could (in theory) take the Infiltrator perk and force your way through the
lock and if it fails just lock pick like normal.  However, I'm not sure if
forcing yourself on the lock successfully counts for this achievement/trophy.

16. Stim-ply Amazing
Description: Heal 10,000 points of damage with Stimpaks.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: The amount of points to heal is reather high, but it's reasonable
compaired to Desert Survivalist.  Anyway, you just need to heal yourself with
stimpacks and that's it.  If you exploited the bug mentioned in The Boss (and
you should but up to you) you will have over 500 stimpacks making this
achievement a breeze as long as you don't beat the final game and you take
damage all the time.  You can use the trick mentioned in Dersert Survivalist
if you really want to speed this up, but you most likely get this as you go
through the story, especially if you exploited that bug.  Even if you didn't,
having Arcade Gandon (he has the Better Healing perk), a High Medicine skill
and the Fast Metabolism perk will speed this up.

17. New Vegas Samurai
Description: Cause 10,000 damage with Melee Weapons.
Achievement Points: 10G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Refer to Blast Mastery.  This one requries you to do 10,000 points
worth of damage with Melee Weapons.  Melee Weapons such as Thermic lance,
Chainsaw, Oh, Baby!, Super sledge, and Knock-Knock will help you here. 

18. Jury Rigger
Description: Repair 30 items.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: I don't see why Bethesda Softworks thought this achievement/trophy was
a good idea either, because you can always buy your weapons.  Then again, we
might not have the caps to pay for the weapons.  Still, it's not like we can't
trade stuff like Stimpacks and Doctor's Bags to traders in order to reduce the
price we pay for our weapons.  At any rate, this one is not to bad, though I
do feel it could have been a bit more reasonable.  You just need to repair 30
items and that's it.  Having the perk of the same name, will make this
achievement much easier, though I didn't need it because I got it during the
final mission of my NCR playthrough, and I planed to get this during my Yes
Man siding playthrough (which was the playthrough I planed on doing last).

19. Hack the Mojave
Description: Hack 25 terminals.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This one's harder to do them No Tumbler Fumbler, because there are
fewer computers to hack them then there are locks to pick.  Generally (but not
always), there will be a computer to hack and a lock to pick like a safe next
to each other.  In that situation, make sure that both skills are high enough
(preferably at 100 each), hack the computer first, and when your successful,
back out and pick the lock.  Since there are so few computers, I'll be nice
and give you a link that has a list of all of the computers you can hack.
Keep in mind though that some of them make you have Bad Karma, so choose your
computers carefully (unless you don't care how much bad karma you get since
there are no karma achievements/trophies from Fallout 3 (thank ******* god)).

Note: Having the Computer Whiz perk can and will help you with this, because
you can guess incorrectly 4 times in a row, and still hack the computer.

AllChristophe found an Exploit that if you redo any test at the X-8 Research
Center, the two turrent control terminals there (one easy and the other
average) reset once you complete the test (assuming that you hacked into them
already).

20. Artful Pocketer
Description: Pick 50 pockets.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: If your like me, you are not a fan of pick pocketing, so this one is a
bit ridiculous.  Having a High Sneak skill as well as a Stealth Boy will help
you out here.  Having Lily in your party (she has the Stealth Girl perk) will
make the Stealth Boys last even longer, which is good since there's so few
Stealth Boys laying around the wasteland (I knew of 2 locations at the time).
Thankfully, this doesn't mean that you have to pick the pockets of 50 people.
You can pick 50 bullets (one at a time) from 1 person and it'll count has
having one pocket picked.  The trick I just mentioned requires you to be in
Hardcore mode however.  There is glitch you can exploit to get your 50 Pick
Pockets really fast (you may have to clear your system's cashe however).  If
you head on over to if you head into the Strip (no, the casino Strip you
pervert) and head into Valut 21, Sarah Weintraub has a pack of Bubble Gum you
can pick pocket over and over again.  Reguardless of what you do (Exploit or
Legit) make sure you save before you pick pocket someone and every time you
make a successful pick pocket (even if you have a Stealth Boy equiped).  The
reason for this is that it's really hard to pick pocket someone successfully
(at least from my experience) and is not wise to push your luck if you do make
a successful pick pocket attempt happend.

21. Outstanding Orator
Description: Make 50 Speech challenges.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: This ones not too bad, but you will most likely not even be close to
50 by the time you are warned that this is the point of no return unless you
took the time to do the sidequests and DLC content avaiable to you.  Anything
that as a Skill check, a S.P.E.C.I.A.L. check, or perk check in dialogue also
counts as a "Speech" Check and not just the Speech skill alone is affected by
this achievement/trophy like it was in Fallout 3.

22. Desert Survivalist
Description: Heal 10,000 points of damage with food.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: The amount of points to heal could have been lowered for this one since
you don't eat that much food in the game other than through Hardcore mode.
Anyway, if you followed the advice of the link I gave you for Blast Mastery,
you should have looted 170 Rad Scorpion Glands off of all the Giant Rad
Scorpions you faced.  You give all of them to Ruby Nash (the Black lady in a
casino at Primm) and she'll make 170 of her Casseroles (5 at a time) for you
to eat.  Then find a lake to drown yourself in (any lake will do and trust me
on this), and when you suffer enough drowning damage, eat all of the
Casseroles and it'll unlock when you eat the last few.  Otherwise, having a
high Survival skill and having Arcade Gandon with you will speed this up.

23. Old-Tyme Brawler
Description: Cause 10,000 damage with Unarmed weapons.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Refer to Blast Mastery.  This one requries you to do 10,000 points
worth of damage with Unarmed Weapons.  Unarmed Weapons like the Ballistic fist
as well as a high Unarmed Skill will help you here. 

Note: Your fists are considered unarmed weapons, so you can go completely
unarmed for this if you wish.

24. Know When to Fold Them
Description: Win 3 games of Caravan.
Achievement Points: 50G
Trophy Color: Bronze

25. One Armed Bandit
Description: Play 10 spins of Slots.

Caravan with, he will play with you as many times as you wish and he seems to

Note: The Fallout Wiki guide for Caravan, jken324's Caravan guide and
ChcBrs85's video guide to winning Caravan mention that you can discard as many
times as you wish in your first turn.  That is actually a bug, because you are
not suppose to discard any cards at all during your first turn.  The first two
sources do take note of this however.  This bug will be fixed when a patch
comes out, so you may have to clear your system's cache in order to exploit
this when that patch comes.

29. The Courier Who Broke the Bank
Description: Get banned from all the Strip's casinos.
Achievement Points: 30G
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: I would sugget stacking this with achievements/trophies 25 through 27
since you are going to play a lot of Blackjack, Roulette and Slots anyway.
You just need to keep playing until the repersentive of the casino decides you
are not welcomed as a gambler anymore.  I heared not taking the rewards they
give you (or the game skiping them over completely) will cause this not to
unlock.  Here are the amounts you have to reach in order for them to ban you
from the casino (there are three of them by the way, the Lucky 38 one doesn't
count):

Ultra-Luxe - 15,000
The Tops - 10,000 
Gomorrah - 9,000

Once you get banned from your last casino, the achievement/trophy will unlock.
Having your luck at 10 can and will help you out here.

30. Hardcore
Description: Play the game from start to finish in Hardcore Mode.
Achievement Points: 100G
Trophy Color: Gold
Guide: Missable if you don't turn it on after "Ain't That a Kick in the Head"
or if you turn it off at anytime during the game.  It seems that when this
guide was posted, I forgot to include a full guide to this, so here it is.

All Hardcore Mode does is add realism (if you can call death by lack of sleep
that), so you need to keep a healthy stock of Food and Water, and sleep every
so often.  Also, you can only heal crippled limbs through Doctor's Bags, and
not Stimpacks like you would outside of Hardcore Mode.  Finally, your allies
can die in Hardcore Mode, instead of being "KOed".  This is not all Hardcore
mode does, these are just the ones I noticed.

Update: There is one more thing I noticed about what Hardcore Mode does, and I
wasn't even playing on Hardcore Mode.  Any and all bullets you come across in
the game has weight.  This means you can't carry an unrealistic amount of
bullets like you would outside of Hardcore Mode.

31. Ain't That a Kick in the Head
Description: Complete Ain't That a Kick in the Head.
Achievement Points: 10G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed.  This will be the first
achievement/trophy you'll get, no matter how you plan on going about getting
100% of all achievements/trophies.  All your doing is creating your character,
and once you opt for Hardcore mode (or not), it'll unlock.

32. They Went That-a-Way
Description: Complete They Went That-a-Way.
Achievement Points: 25G
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: What I said about this was incorrect.  It is Story-related, but it
actually can't be missed as it'll unlock reguardless.  The quest will end at
either Boulder City (if you follow the questline) or at the Tops casino (if
you know where to go already).

33. Ring-a-Ding-Ding
Description: Complete Ring-a-Ding-Ding.
Achievement Points: 25G
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: Story-related, so it can't be missed.  You'll get this when you decide
how you deal with Benny (the man who tried to kill you in the begining).

you are at confronting Chief Hanlon, you just need to confront him.  I've
known about this a long time ago, I just didn't take the time to update the
guide with this infomation.

45. Arizona Killer
Description: Completed Arizona Killer.
Achievement Points: 20G
Trophy Color: Bronze

mission ends when you kill NCR's president.

Note: This is the a side mission that is only given by Caeser's Legion.

46. You'll Know It When It Happens

president from his death, instead of killing him.  If you side with NCR,

47. G.I. Blues

Guide: Refer to one of the links mentioned in part 3 for a walkthrough.  I
don't remember how this mission ends, but let's say that the head of
"The Kings" will owe you a favor if it ends peacefully.  You'll come across 
this quest during your NCR playthrough.  If you side with Yes Man, you'll come
across this quest as well.

48. That Lucky Old Sun
Description: Complete That Lucky Old Sun.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Refer to one of the links mentioned in part 3 for a walkthrough.  The
way this mission ends depends on a few factors mentioned in the guides in part
3.  I was incorrect when I said that quest was free of fractions.  Helios One
belongs to the NCR and if you are on bad terms with them (as in hated or
worse), then there's a good chance that you won't be able to do this quest.
Reguardless, this quest doesn't care who you side with in the end.

49. Volare!
Description: Complete Volare!
Achievement Points: 20G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: Refer to one of the links mentioned in part 3 for a walkthrough.  This
mission ends when you talk to Pearl after rasing the plane.

50. The Legend of the Star
Description: Complete The Legend of the Star.
Achievement Points: 20G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: What you actually have to do for this is to complete A Valuable Lesson.
To get that Side Quest, you must obtain at least 50 Star Bottle Caps for The
Legend of the Star quest.  Once you turn that in, it'll say that you failed
the Legend of the Star quest.  Don't have a painc attack, it's suppose to
happend.  Other than that, refer to one of the links mentioned in part 3 for a
walkthrough.  The "A Valuable Lesson" side quest ends when you clam your
prize (which is 1500 Bottle Caps).

Update: I was looking at a Youtube video for this game for some random reason
and I noticed that the player picked up a tape and the quest ends itself, so I
believe you might just have to pick up the tape and get this.  Also, their is
two other prizes I forgot to mention when I posted this.  You'll also find an
Energy Weapon called the Pew Pew and quite a few deputy badges.  I'm sure this
info is well known at this point, but I just thought I update the guide with
the info.

51. Platinum Trophy
Description: Acquire all the other 50 Trophies for this Trohpy

manage to escape the Vault without getting caught by Elijah, traping him in

5. Sierra Souvenir Aficionado
Description: Collected 500 Sierra Madre Chips.
Achievement Points: 30G
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: This can be missed, but it's not likely that you will.  You need to get
500 Sierra Madre Chips over the course of the DLC.  If you don't think you will
collect 500 Chips before the DLC ends, You can get the Coin Operator Perk from
Christine via Dialouge, but only if you have Perception at 6 the lowest, and
at least 6 Intelligence, and you were nice to her.  You need at least 1
Fission Battery, and 2 Scrap Metals to make the Chips (which will net you 50
Chips each time you combine them).  Alternatively, if you can find the Sierra
Madre SnowGlobe, you'll get 2000 Chips from it, which is more then enough to
get this achievement/trophy.  You don't need 500 Chip on you at once, just at
one point during the DLC (before and after).  Honestly, I'm quite surpised
number for this wasn't higher (2 or 3 times that would have been a reasonable
challenge).


DLC B: Honest Hearts

talking to your brain, there's a certain dialog option that makes two dialog
phases "Jason Bright and his followers blasting of into the vast unknown" and
"HELIOS one coming back on line" repeat over and over again.  This only
happends if you happend to complete Come Fly With Me and That Lucky Old Sun
quests.  This seems to happend in the Xbox 360 version of this DLC, but it
might also happend in the PC and PS3 versions.

3. Making Friends
Description: Reactivated all of the Sink's robotic assistance.
Achievement Points: 30G
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: This can be missed, but you can come back to this DLC after you beat
it, so you can't trully miss this.  You need to restore all ten of the Sink's
personality units.  Here are the locations for each one:

The Sink Central Intelligence Unit: This Personality Chip is given to you in
the initial dialogue with the Think Tank.

personality chips.

completely).  For this one, you need upgrade all of ED-E, your companion in
this DLC.  As far as I know, you need to have the DLC ED-E with you when you
pick up these upgrades, though, if the DLC ED-E is taken from you due to a
choice at the end of this DLC, the one from the main game can still recive the
upgrades you pick up (again Marc Voltaire is to be credited for this).  I've
found the locations of all of the upgrades thanks to the Fallout Wiki.  Here
are the locations taken from that Wiki.  Note that they don't nessarly appear
in this order.

One is located in the Hopeville Silo Bunker; in the hallway just after you
unlock the silo doors.

One is located in the Hopeville Missile Base HQ; under a desk. 

One is located in the Ashton Silo Control Station behind a locked door; this 
door can be unlocked by hacking the terminal (hard) found next to it.

One is found in the Municipal Sewers connected to the Third Street Municipal

As you can tell, I was pretty ticked off when I first saw this on the Fallout
Wiki.  I mean, if you take a look at the achievement/trophy picture on the
Wiki for this, it resembles the picture from the Mod Machine
achievement/trophy.  Anyway, the actual guide.

You can purchase these upgrades from the shops across the DLC, but they are
expensive, even with your Barter Skill at 100.  If history of Mod Machine
achievement/trophy repeats itself, purchasing these upgrades might be the only
way to get this achievement/trophy.  You'll find the weapon itself at the
Marked Man Camp.  This can be missed if you don't pick the Red Glare Missle
Launcher at all, but that's unlikely.  From what I read on the Fallout Wiki,
it seems that you only need to purchase the upgrades for this to unlock, but
I can't say for certain if this is true or not.

5. Warhead Hunter
Description: Detonated all of the warheads in the Divide
Achievement Points: 30G
Trophy Color: Silver
Guide: This one can be missed, but you can still come back to this DLC because
of the Fast Travel system placed when this game was created, so you can't
trully miss this (thanks Marc Voltaire for the indirect correction about the
Fast Travel part and direct correction on the fact that this can't be missed
completely).  For this one, you'll need the Laser Commander.  To blow a
Warhead, find one (obiously), make sure you have the thing equiped, and fire
at it.  There are 30 Warheads in all.  You will find a good number of them as
you go through the game.  Here are all of the locations for all of the
Warheads taken from the Fallout Wiki.

Before Collapsed Overpass Tunnel Entrance - 5

1. (Required) After retrieving the Laser detonator in the Marked Men Camp, you
have to blow up a warhead on a truck bed to leave the area.

2. Head back to the Hopeville Missile Silo Bunker exit. In front of the
barracks that is across from the destitute gas station is another warhead.

3. Following the path to the Collapsed Overpass Tunnel Entrance, it branches
before entering the ruined city area. Among the bunkers off the right side of
the right path is the warhead.

4. In the very southeastern-most corner of the Marked Men-run ruined city
you'll find another warhead in the center of the broken-down trucks and
vehicles.

5. Just before the Collapsed Overpass Tunnel Entrance is a warhead. Right in
plain view.

 
Before Ashton Silo Control Station - 4

1. After getting attacked by the first group of Marked Men past the Collapsed
Overpass Tunnel and moving along, you'll start being fired upon by some more
in the distance.  Below their building and the path to The Crow's Nest is a
warhead.

2. The next warhead is found in the middle of the Ruined Highway Interchange
area, surrounded by deathclaws.

3. As you near the end of the highway, you'll come across a fork. Take the
right path that heads downward toward a collapsed tunnel and a ruined vehicle.
A warhead is near the "Smitty's Diner" sign, near the Junction 7 Rest Stop.

4. After the last warhead, now take the left fork. When you come upon the
Marked Men camp, head to the southeast.  Tucked in with the rocks behind a
truck is a warhead.

 
The Courier's Mile (unlocked after setting off nuke at Ashton Silo Control
Station) - 2

1. As you enter the area, you'll see a fork. As you take the right one, you'll
be able to see a warhead up ahead in the distance among the destroyed
buildings behind the deathclaws.

2. Back and along the left road, you'll come to a path and a clearing on your
left full of Marked Men. Tucked away in the back with the ruined buildings is
a warhead.

 
Before the Cave of the Abaddon - 5

1. As you exit the Ashton Silo on the Sunstone Tower rooftop, head to and peek
down over the western edge. Below, on the left-hand side of a large white "On
Solid Ground!" billboard near a large, collapsed building you'll see a
warhead.

2. On the opposite side of the same billboard from the last warhead is
another.

3. (Required) From Sunstone Tower, head southwest. Tucked between the boulders
is a warhead you have to detonate to continue along.

4. Head around to the right from the last warhead. Up among the rubble on your
right, you'll see only the tip of a buried warhead sticking out.

5. (Required) Head northwest from the last warhead. You'll see another warhead
wedged in-between the rocks.

 
Before Ulysses' Temple - 8

1. After reaching the Boxwood Hotel Roof, head southeast.  Behind a pipe
gushing water you'll find the den of Rawr the deathclaw.  One is embedded in
the ceiling.

2. After defeating Rawr, another is used to leave the den.

Note: There is a way you can get both of these without having to fight Rawr
the Deathclaw.

Really?  This deathclaw appears without the Wild Wasteland trait?  It really
should be, because that name's a bit too silly to not be programed into Wild
Wasteland.

The name of this Deathclaw is a bit silly, but it's no joke when it comes to
combat (or so I read in the wiki), but I didn't have to fight it thanks to
this little trick.  You have to be willing to take Damage, have your limbs
crippled, and take in Radiation if you rather not fight this Deathclaw.

Anyway, blast the first Warhead as normal, then walk into the cave until the
cave enterence gets blocked.  That will make the assumed to be dead Deathclaw
come to life.  Then get out of the Deathclaw's line of sight before it catches
you (Anyone who took on a Deathclaw (provoked or no) would know how fight
happy these guys are), then blast away.  After that run out of there, heal
yourself up and you just got out of Rawr the Deathclaw's cave without having
to kill the Deathclaw.  I did this a while back, but I haven't tooken the time
to update the guide with this.

3. (Required) Further along from the last two, at the base of a ruined
building where some Marked Men are shooting from you'll spot a warhead.

4. After passing under the building using the path created from the last
warhead, look up and to the right. In the distance (above the entrance to the
Waste Disposal Station area) you'll see a warhead sitting next to a Marked Man
sniping at you.

5. (Required) Head south from the toppled building. Around another gushing
pipe, up among rocks, you'll find one.

6. After detonating the previous warhead, a path leading up will be created.
After climbing up, you'll be atop the toppled over building. Going around to
the right will take you up to the entrance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The warhead is on the rocks to the left of this entrance.

7. Look out southwest from this area and you'll see one atop the nearby
building in the farthest corner.

8. High up and to the right of the entrance to Ulysses' Temple.

it.  You can purchase these weapons in various shops, though I can't say who
has what, because I honestly don't know that.

5. Curios and Relics
Description: Caused 10,000 damage with unique Mojave Wasteland weapons.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
Guide: For this one, you have to do 10,000 points worth of damage with unique
weapons of the Mojave Wasteland.  Only the unique main game weapons such as
the 9mm Pistol Maria or the sinper rifle Gobi Campaign scout rifle count for
this achievement/trophy.  That means you can't use DLC weapons like the .45
Auto Pistol "A Light Shining in Darkness" from Honest Hearts nor the sniper
rifle "Christine's COS silencer rifle" from Old World Blues and expect it
count for this achievement/trophy.  You can use the trick mentioned in Blast
Mastery if you need to grind this and/or Master of the Arsenal.

This is something new I decided to do for this guide.  This has
achievements/trophies that were thought of at one point, but never made it to
the final game.  Here's all five of them.


1. Sore Loser
Description: Kill 5 people who you have lost to in Caravan.
Achievement Points: 10G
Trophy Color: Bronze
This would have you kill 5 people who you lost to in Caravan in any shape and
form.  My theory for why this was remove is that Bethesda Softworks figured
it'll be harder to get the "Know when to fold them" and "Caravan Master"
achievements/trophies and to stay alive long enough to get your next Caravan
provoked kill.

2. Card Shark
Description: Kill 5 people who you have beat in Caravan.
Achievement Points: 30G
Trophy Color: Bronze
This is the same as Sore Loser, but this would have you kill 5 people who you
beaten in Caravan in any shape and form.  My theory for why this was taken out
is the same as Sore Loser.

3. Mod Machine (Original)
Description: Install all possible weapon mods.
Achievement Points: 30G
Trophy Color: Bronze
This was not taken out completely (although it would have been best if it
was). Anyway, this version of Mod Machine would have you install all the
weapon mods, and not just 20 of them like we got today.  I don't know how many
weapon mods there are, but I guess the requirements for this was edited,
because they figured there was no way in hell we are going to have enough caps
to even try to do this.

4. Boomer's Pride
Description: Cause 10,000 damage with Big Guns.
Achievement Points: 10G
Trophy Color: Bronze
This would have you do 10,000 points worth of damage with Big Guns such as the
Mini gun.  The reason why they thought it was a bad idea, is because Big Guns
and Small Guns where converted to just Guns.  If that's not the only reason,
my only other theroy for this, is that they knew there was no way we can do
enough damage to get this.

5. General Custer
Description: Lead all your companions to their death.
Achievement Points: 15G
Trophy Color: Bronze
This would have you get all recruitable people mentioned in The Whole Gang's
Here killed in some way.  My only guess is to why this was removed is that
it's really hard to get your allies killed, espeacially since they are willing
to fight by your side.  Xbox Live's AllChristophe inputs that you would also
have to be on Hardcore mode in order for your companions to get killed.

E-mail or Message me if you:

A. See a spelling error: I may have made spelling errors as I was writing
this.

B. Have a question that needs asking: You may have something that needs
clearing up or something to that affect.

C. Have a correction to make: I'm not 100% sure on some of the stuff mentioned
though out the guide.

D. Want to use my guide on your website: I personally have no problem
letting you use my guide on your website, as long as you ask me first, and you
give me credit for it.

E. Think you see someone using my guide without permission: I don't like it
when people steal my stuff (at least, not without asking me first).  I don't
do it to other people (at least without giving other people credit for the
idea), so why do it to me anyway?

F. Have something to add-on to this or that/there's something I forgot to
include: If there something you think I should have included, but I didn't,
you are encouraged to send me an Email for this or that.

Do note that if you do decide you want to message me, make sure if the topic
is about Fallout: New Vegas.

Don't even think about email me if you are going to send me:
A. Hate Mail
B. Spam
C. Name Calling mail
D. Barely readable/Unreadable mail
E. Mail with mostly creative words (if you get my drift)

Letter A I take offence to, because I don't send hate mail to no one.

I have a Spam safeguard with yahoo, and it'll tell me if I have spam or not
with Letter B.  Also, if I think your trying sending me spam on Xbox Live,
don't think I won't write a complaint about you, and/or tell Microsoft on you.

With letter C, I also take offence, because I get name called in school.

Letter D, If your sending me an E-mail, have spell check available to you and
you’re not sure of your spelling, then why not use it?

Letter E, Unless I messed up that badly, there's really no reason for that
anyway.

All of these things can and will make me think your a bad person, when in
reality your probably not.  All in all, just don't do it.

Follow these rules, and if you add-on and/or correct something, I'll give you
credit for it.

Note: Don't get discouraged if I don't answer you right away.  Sometimes, I
might be on the Computer and sometimes I'll be on Xbox Live.  Your best bet
is to send both an E-mail and an Xbox Live message.  That way if I don't get
one of your messages, I'll still be able to get the other message.  Even
then, I might still not get your message right away.
