Welcome to my FAQ for getting two master Challenges in the Xbox360 Arcade game 
Shadow Complex. They require you to beat the game with 100% items in under 2 
hours (Jason Bailey) and under 3 hours on insane difficulty (ChAIRness). In 
this guide I will map out the route I took to get the Jason Bailey Master 
Challenge. It will also work for chAIRness since you have an extra hour that 
will pretty much nullify the extra difficulty. You need a different path then 
you'd use for an Insurgent run, because the cutscene at the original missile 
pick up will not trigger if you got another missile pack first.

Notes:
1) Make sure you reached level 30. You're gonna need that infinite foam.
2) Have the golden guns unlocked. To do this, collect all 12 gold bars in a 
previous game.
3) This is based on a Jason Bailey run on casual difficulty. I did it in 
1:48:13, but I'm pretty sure you could shave 10 to 15 minutes off that time.

To do list:
Add times at the end of each section.
Add completion percentages at the end of each section.
Add number of specific pick-ups at the end of each section.

# Part 1: Start to Spider Mech #

Get the backpack and head to gun room like you normally would. Watch the 
cutscene and get the gun. Now, I hope you unlocked golden guns, because you'll
need them for a good time. They spawn in the room to the left of where you 
pick up the gun. Get the golden Inertial Element and head back into the vent 
you came from. Shoot the grating to pick up Health Upgrade 1, then head back 
up the ladder downstairs and shoot the floor.

Head into the first room with enemies, kill them and then proceed to shoot the
floor near the eastern door. Drop down to collect Pass Key 1. Go down the 
elevator and cross the lake. Take note of the three explosive barrels you come
across. Now go up untill you reach the save room. In the room to the west of 
it you can pick up Health Upgrade 2 on the floor. Now head down and grab the 
grenades (Grenade Pack 1). Shoot a grenade to the left of the room to blow a 
vent. You can now go down. Follow the little route to get Pass Key 2. Next, 
head back to the grenade room and kill the Spider Mech.

# Part 2: Spider Mech to Foam Gun #

After you killed the Spider Mech, make sure you DO NOT TOUCH the grenade door.
This will forfeit the sequence break required for a fast time. Now head back 
up to the save room. When you exit to the west, you can pick up Grenade Pack 
2. Blow up the rock in front of it with a grenade. Now backtrack to the three 
barrels. At this point, a 30  second timer will start, so hurry up and head 
further down, and swim all the way to the left of the lake. Now dive, and 
head to where you see a missile door on your map. If you're fast enough, the 
ground will be open and you can bypass the missile door. If not, simply 
reload your save and try again. Just make sure you don't forget to pick up 
the Grenade Pack again.

After you've bypassed the missile door, shoot the grating and drop down for 
Pass Key 3. Now exit to the east. In this room, go down the ladder, kill the 
guy near the door and exit through that door. Save if you wish, then head down
and enter the room to your left. Kill all enemies and head up. Do NOT kill the
foam bomba. Instead, have it shoot the sensor on the foam door for you. 
This may take a couple of tries but it's doable.

Now, head all the way down and exit through the left door. You'll be in a room
with a  missile turret. If the first guard doesn't see you, you can bypass the
entire fight. If not, head to the turret and unleash hell. I found that on 
insane difficulty, using myshotgun worked better than using the turret. 
There's a full health replenisher to the left of the room should you need it. 
After the fight, drop down the now open hole. Along the way, be sure to shoot 
the vent and pick up Gold Bar 1. Now make your way to the southern rooms 
untill you drop down into a save room. From here, go left and pick up the 
Foam Gun (Foam Pack 1).

# Part 3: Foam Gun to CLD #

After getting the foam gun, shoot the purple floor tile with it and pick up 
Foam Pack 2. Now disable the factory and head back to the save room. Spam 
infinite foam (shoot at your feet, jump, repeat) untill you reach a purple 
vent to your left. Shoot that with your Foam Gun and enter. Now shoot the 
yellow vent above the entrance and pick up Health Upgrade 3. Head back to the 
missile turret room. Now, this is where we do another sequence break than the 
one used for the Insurgent. Instead of grabbing the missile pack here, exit to
your right. Use foam to get back to the save room. Use it if necessary, then 
exit out the door north of the save room. Keep going untill you crossed the 
flames and drop down into yet another save room.

Exit to the left, spam foam near the grenade tube and you can reach a vent. 
Up here, go left first for a grenade door hiding Grenade Pack 3. Now head 
back to the right and go up the ladder here. In this room, spam foam to make 
it across. Once you've crossed it, you'll be in another save room. Exit, jump 
down and pick up the CLD.

# Part 4: CLD to SCHCA Mask #

Jump back up from where you got the CLD and use it to scale the walls here.
Now go to your right and find a room with some enemies. After killing them, 
pick up the Grenade Pack and exit to the right. In this big open area, kill
all enemies first and then infinite foam your way to the top. It'll take you
quite a while but will save you backtracking later on. You'll find Gold Bar 2
up here. 

Now go further right, untill you reach a large mine shaft. Go up
first: you'll find a Grenade Pack almost at the top (to your right, use
walljump with the CLD). A bit more to the bottom, you'll find Health Upgrade 4.
Spam some foam to it hidden at the topleft. Now head further down the mine 
shaft and take the next exit you'll find on your right. Follow the path untill
it ends, and use your CLD to go up. Here, destroy the purple vent and pick up 
Foam Pack 3.

Now drop down and enter the door. Keep following the only path you can take
untill you reach a  firefight in a room with glass stairs. Afterwards, exit
north, shoot the vent here and pick up Grenade Pack 6. Now go back down and
follow the path untill you get to another room with stairs. At the top left
there's a small alcove containing Grenade Pack 7. The room to the left holds
two upgrades: Armor Upgrade 1 (jump to the small balcony at the right), and
Gold Bar 3 (at the top, spam foam). 

Now continue up to the second Spider Mech fight. There's a Gold Bar at the far
left of this room. After killing the mech, continue up to the SCHCA mask.
After getting it, jump into the water in this room, swim to the right and pick
up Pass Key 4. Most people miss this one because it will not show on the radar
due to there being two pick-ups in this room. After picking up the SCHCA Mask,
the question mark will become a dot, even though there's a pick-up left.

Exit the flooded area. The floor outside will now have cracked. Go down and
enter the vent to your right. Drop down into the large room and pick up
Grenade Pack 8 behind the boxes on the left. Follow the path untill you reach
a grenade door. Blow that up and drop down. First, go into the save room. In
it, you can shoot the floor to reveal a hidden passage leading to Grenade 
Pack 9. Now head back to the room with the Grenade door. To the right, you can
jump up for yet another Grenade Pack.

In the room to the right, there's a Grenade Pack too: shoot the ceiling and 
double jump into it. Might take a couple of tries. Now head to the left
untill you reach a save room. Take the elevator up and follow the path all the 
way untill you reach the elevator shaft again. Note that you cannot pick up
the gun you come across yet (should you need it badly, you can pick it up
after hearing the guards converse about new guns arriving).

Ride the elevator down, then send it up again. Jump off to the right fast, and
pick up Grenade Pack 12 here. Now jump down to find another save room. All the
way to the right from here is a room with yet another Grenade Pack (yeah, I 
know...). Now head back to the room between both save rooms and work your way 
up. 

Work your way down another elevator shaft, and head right. Dive in the lake to
pick up Gold Bar 5. Next, use the right wall to jump up. It's a bit tricky
but doable. Next, you'll need to walljump a small hole and blow up the hatch
with a grenade. Shoot some foam beneath you to stand on, then shoot foam at
the hatch and stick a grenade to it. Head to the left and open the foam door.

Shoot the ceiling in the save room to get on top of the elevator. Ride it all
the way to the top, exit to the right and work your way down untill you can
enter the elevator. Ride it all the way down and exit to the right. In here,
exit through the vent in the ceiling and head left. Drop down, shoot a yellow
vent and drop down again. You'll end up in an outside area. Head right, shoot 
a boulder and pick up Armor Upgrade 2. Now drop down into the missile room and
pick up the missiles (Missile Pack 1). 

You should reach them somewhere between 35 and 45 minutes. If your time is over
that, you might want to start again because it may be difficult to make it in 
less than 2 hours. For chAIRness, you don't have to worry too much about your
time.

Use your new missiles to get back to the elevator. First, head down and right,
shoot another missile door and pick up Missile Pack 2. Now ride the elevator 
up, kill all enemies in this room and press B to unlock the generator. Shoot
a missile at it and head back to the elevator. Next stop, the left room on the
second floor. Get into the vent again, and pick up Grenade Pack 14 to the right
of the now defunct fan. Then head right, and pick up Missile Pack 3 at the top
of the vent.

Head into the save room, use a missile and head left. Pick up Health Upgrade 5
and head to the room right above this one. Kill both powersuit guys to save
Claire and end up outside again.

# Part 6: Starting point to Omega Armor #

Before heading to the Omega Armor, there's a bunch of stuff to pick up that
you couldn't get before. Head right to find an Armor Upgrade guarded by two 
rocks that can be destroyed with grenades. For some reason, it doesn't always 
work if you put your grenades down, so use foam and a grenade if necessary. 
Now drop down to the entrance to the complex. Head into the area where you saw
Claire getting abducted. Now that you have grenades, you can blow up the floor
and get Grenade Pack 15.

Next, enter the complex. In the room with the second camera, you can shoot the
ceiling and pick up Gold Bar 6. In the same room, you can walljump up to find 
two foam doors. The one on the right holds a Foam Pack, the one on the left 
leads to Gun 2 (actually, gun 4, but who cares). It's all the way to the left.
Now head left again and shoot some boxes in the room with the enemies to 
reveal Gold Bar 7.

Now head further into the complex untill you reach the cargo elevator. There 
are two missile hatches in the ceiling. The northern one leads to a Missile 
Pack, the southern one to Armor Upgrade 4. At the lake, dive at the eastern
end to find a hatch you can blow up with a missile. It hides Missile Pack 5.
Resurface and take the right exit. In here, blow the purple fan at the ceiling
and jump up for Foam Pack 5. This can be tricky without the hookshot or trust
boots, so shoot foam down if necessary. Afterwards, head up to the spot where
you got Grenade Pack 2. Use grenades to exit outside.

Now, with that done, we can head to the Power Armor. Go west untill you reach
a wall you can't scale. Use foam to get up, ignore the bridge area and keep
heading west untill you get to the lake. After clearing the island, dive at
the left of it to find a missile hatch hiding Missile Pack 6. Now head to the
left untill you trigger the chopper fight. After destroying it, head into the
house for Gold Bar 8. Outside, use foam to scale the cliff and pick up Pass
Key 5. Now head inside and get the Omega Armor.

Head down and right into a large open area. Kill the 4 enemies, then head 
right and kill the guy in the power suit. Now head down, use a grenade at the 
hatch and pick up the Friction Dampener. Next, shoot the ceiling with a 
missile and get Missile Pack 7.

Use your newly acquired Friction Dampener to break the blocks at the right,
kill all enemies here and head for the bridge. First, head up and destroy the
grenade hatch. Drop inside and use the switch to lower the bridge. Now head
back outside and drop a grenade at the right side of the bridge. Dive down and
pick up Foam Pack 6. Now get into hyperspeed and run through the fan and
walls. When you crash into a wall, look down for a missile hatch. Go
through it and, shoot a vent and you'll see a grenade door. Grenade Pack 16 is
behind it. 

Now exit and you'll be in the missile turret room again. Head down
to where you picked up the Foam Gun. Make sure you are in hyperspeed so you
can cross the electric lake. Pick up Foam Pack 7 and hyperspeed back to the
save room. Exit right, jump down and go right up again. Shoot the ceiling and
enter the next room. In here, there's a missile hatch behind the shield enemy.
You can find Missile Pack 8 here. Now use foam and a grenade at the grenade 
hatch, and open the foam door in the next room for Foam Pack 8. Now shoot
the floor and drop down into a superheated room. Pick up Gold Bar 9 and head
back up.

In the next room, head up and into the save room. Shoot the foam door and 
head for the middle platform in the next room. Jump up for Foam Pack 9, then
exit to your left. In here, spam foam to cross the electrified water.
Take the exit north of the save room and make your way to the room with the
flames. You can now blow up the missile hatch and collect Missile Pack 9.
Drop down into the save room, and head left. You'll see a gap: head down, use
a grenade and pick up Pass Key 6. Now head back up and make your way to the
right of this room. You'll find another missile hatch, hiding Missile Pack 10.

Now head back into the generator room we foamed our way across to get to the
CLD. Now that you have missiles, you can combine them with foam to blow up all
generators and pick up Missile Pack 11. Head right untill you reach the large
mine shaft again. You can now pick up a Missile Pack close to where you got
the Foam Pack earlier. Ater that, shoot the gear to create a new mine shaft.

Before you go down, there's some items to collect: To the right of the newly
created hole there's a minecart. You can enter the room right of it for 
Grenade Pack 18. To the left of the hole you can jump up for Grenade Pack 19.
After that, jump down the large mineshaft and dive all the way down. You'll
get to a vent. Inside, use a missile and climb the left wall for Health 
Upgrade 6. Now work your way back to the large mineshaft. At the water's 
surface you can dive left for Pass Key 7, and shoot a missile hatch at the 
right for Missile Pack 13.

Now you can enter the new mineshaft. At the top right is another Grenade Pack,
and at the bottom left you can find Armor Upgrade 5. Now head inside, go 
right, defeat the huge saw and pick up the Hookshot.

Use your hookshot to get up and enter the room at the right for Missile 
Pack 14. Now exit to the left. Watch the ceiling for a hole: enter it, flip
a switch and cross the save room. You'll be in a room you need to flood. To
do so, head down and press B near the valve. With the water risen, you can
pick up Grenade Pack 21. Head through the grenade door and keep going left
untill you're in the mines again. Jump down the new shaft and go right again.

This time, go left in the save room. Drop down the large room, but hookshot
yourself to the wall when you see a vent. Blow it open and pick up Missile
Pack 15. Once down, hyperspeed to the left. Stop at the gates, and hyperspeed
right back. You need to jump at the ceiling where it's lowest. That will make
you run on the ceiling and pick up Pass Key 8 at the end. After that, drop
down the hole near it for Foam Pack 10. Now head to the right again. You've
been here before. Remember where the foam bomba was? That's where we're going.
Instead of going through the save room, we're going right this time. Blow
the grenade hatch and you'll end up in a large factory area.

There's a bunch of ways to go from here: first, drop down and go left.
Hookshot yourself to the ceiling, and foam / grenade the vent. Enter to find a
Foam Pack. Now head back into the factory area again. Go down, blow the
grenade hatch and hyperspeed left for Foam Pack 11. Return to the factory area
again. This time, go right. At the bottom, cross the save room and blow a 
grenade hatch in the next room. It's hiding Grenade Pack 22. Now head back to 
the factory area and head to the top-right. Use a foam bridge and hyperspeed 
your way from right to left first, then the other way around. You'll break a 
blue block and can pick up Gold Bar 10 underneath it.

Go up and left. In the room with the camera, crouch at the right, and you'll
eventually find Grenade Pack 23. Now head right untill you reach the missile
turret room. You can now hookshot your way up to Missile Pack 16. Now go right
untill you reach the room where you had the foam bomba open a door for you 
right at the start of the game. You can now pick up the Foam Pack here. 
Afterwards, head to the missile door you bypassed at the start of the game. 
This time, go left at the large area though. You need to fight another Spider
Mech here. After the battle, go left and shoot all boxes. Now go left again, 
and hyperspeed your way back into the Spider Mech room. You'll break a box
hiding a missile hatch. Behind it is Missile Pack 17.

Now head outside again. Double jump and hookshot your way to the missile door.
Inside, use grenades to crack the floor and pick up Foam Pack 14. Now follow 
the path up, defeat the mech and get the Thrust Boots.

Head right first. Hyperspeed across all the beams and stay in hyperspeed 
untill you reach a large, open area. In here, triple jump and you should reach
Armor Upgrade 6. Jump down and you can now double jump / hookshot your way
into a small vent containing Grenade pack 23. Now head back to where you
got the Trust Boots. This time, head up. Go right outside and keep following
the path untill you get to an area with 3 enemies. After killing them, use
grenades to drop the boxes from the ceiling and hyperspeed across them. You
can now break the grates and pick up Gold Bar 11 along the way.

Follow the path and head through the missile door. In here, enter the vent
(there's two entrances, the top one requires a grenade, the bottom one 
nothing) and pick up Missile Pack 18. Now head down and activate the bridge.

Now we can start cleaning up. You may have noticed that the purple area at the
right of the map still has lots of pick-ups left. Do not trigger the 
selfdestruct sequence yet, because this will make this area hard to access, 
thus screwing up your time.

First, follow the path outside untill you reach a lever. Use it, then quickly
hyperspeed outside. As soon as you hyperspeed, double jump and you should run
through a small hole and destroy the blue block at the end. You can now pick
up Pass Key 9.

Now look at your map. See the save point next to the grenade door I said 
you couldn't touch at the start of the game? We're heading to the room to the
right of that. Head inside, go up and double jump for Grenade Pack 24. 
Now, continue towards the right again, shoot the purple fans and pick up Foam 
Pack 15. Next, use a grenade to clear some debris and dive into the water. 
Walljump your way up, then use a missile on the ceiling and pick up Missile 
Pack 19. Now exit to the left untill you're outside again. Jump up for Armor 
Upgrade 1, then head right for Foam Pack 16 and a fight with a small mech.

After the mech fight, shoot the floor near the cover you had and pick up 
Grenade Pack 25. Now head up the left wall to get Foam Pack 17. Next, head
up the right wall and drop down at the first availabe spot. Go left, dive and
pick up Health Upgrade 7. Now head back outside and work your way towards the 
lake. Dive to the left of the island for Grenade Pack 26. Now cross the rest
of the lake and continue going right. You'll come across a Foam Pack behind
a purple fan, and Health Upgrade 8 and Pass Key 10 at the right edge of the 
map.

Now head back and drop down the first hole you find. Go left here and pick up
Gun 3 (gun 2 if played in sequence). Now go right into the save room. In the
room with the small mech battle, pick up Grenade Pack 27 and go right again. 
In here, go up the ladder and shoot the purple vent for Armor Upgrade 8. Now
go down, and shoot another purple vent in the ceiling just before the door for
Foam Pack 19.

Now go into the elevator area. Ride it down, then go left and shoot the floor.
Now ride it up and shoot both purple vents. Then ride it down again and drop
into either of the vents. The left one holds Armor Upgrade 9 and the right one
holds Grenade Pack 28. After getting one of them, jump up and at the left 
there's a small ledge leading to Pass Key 11. Now jump back into the elevator
shaft and ride it up. Quickly jump into the vent you just skipped, grab the
pick-up and grab the bottom of the elevator to ride it down again. Exit to
the left.

Get into the large room, and take the door on the right. In the turret room,
triple jump  or hookshot your way up to Gold Bar 12 in the top right. Next,
go into the save room, shoot the floor and pick up Grenade Pack 29. Now go
down, dive, and fire a missile at the grating. Go in, throw a grenade at the
fan and pick up Foam Pack 20. Continue going down. When you get to te elevator,
ride it up and go left. Kill all bombas, then hyperspeed right for Pass Key 12.

Now follow the path untill you get into the armory. You will hear the guards
converse: this triggers the pick-up for the gun here you couldn't get before.
When you drop down from the vents, shoot the floor with a missile for the
final Armor Upgrade. This pick-up does not show on the map because it's also a
save room! Keep following the path, picking up Gun 4 along the way. In the 
save room left of the elevator shaft, there's another pick-up that doesn't
show on your map: shoot the floor with a missile for Missile Pack 20.

Now we have everything but the Fusion Helmet, one Grenade Pack and the final 
gun. Let's get the Fusion Helmet first. The fastest way is through the save
room to the left of where you are, then going down into the mine cart area.
Use foam on the door, ride the elevator down and get the Fusion Helmet. Now we
need to head up for the final grenade pack and gun. The fastest way is by 
taking the secret route in the save room left of the missile turret room. When
you get to the outside area after hyperspeeding through some blocks, take the
upper-right door. In here, pick up Grenade Pack 30, the follow the road
towards the Inertial Element. This is the only missable item in the game, so 
don't forget it! It becomes missable after you trigger the explosion scene.

You should now have 100% items. Go trigger the explosion scene, hyperspeed 
your way to the lake and beat the final boss who should now be ridiculously 
easy, even on insane difficulty. If you didn't waste too much time, you should
finish in about 1:45-1:50 on casual, and probably about 30 minutes more on
