=============================SECTION I: INTRODUCTION==========================

Hello! Welcome to the Halo: Reach Achievement Guide! This guide's purpose is
to assist those who are looking to obtain Achievements on Halo: Reach--and
god, some of these are a doozy. Some of these Achievements are simple to
obtain, a few unavoidable, others will make you sweat--or rage--to obtain
them.

I am actually kind of shocked this guide hadn't been created before, so I took
up the task to do this. Hopefully this guide will be beneficial for you as the
reader.

I must warn you, there might be spoilers in this walkthrough.

==============================SECTION II: LIST OF=============================
============================HALO: REACH ACHIEVEMENTS==========================

As with any Xbox 360 game, Halo: Reach comes with 1000 G worth of gamer points
initially. There are a total of 49 Achievements/Trophies all together in this
game. Good luck.

NOTE: The Achievements/Trophies are in alphabetical order. I will also specify
the point value. Also, for Achievements that require performing a skill, I
will show you the control methodology used for each respective platform.

Let's get ready for some Halo!

NOTE: Most of these Achievements can only be unlocked if playing on Normal
difficulty or above. Easy WILL NOT COUNT!!

--------------------------A Monument To All Your Sins-------------------------
--------"Complete every mission in Halo: Reach alone, on Legendary."----------

Value: 150 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Simple to explain, ungodly to perform. You will need to go
through all ten levels, including the prologue and epilogue on Legendary
completely by yourself. Good luck, Spartan.

If you are having trouble with Elites, the Plasma Pistol OVercharge + headshot
weapon does wonders.

-------------------------------A New Challenger-------------------------------
------------"Complete all of the Daily Challenges in a given day."------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Every day over Xbox Live, Bungie sets up daily challenges for
you to try to get as you play. These may encompass Campaign, Matchmaking and
Firefight. There are always four each day. You're going to be busy.

----------------------------A Spoonful Of Blamite-----------------------------
--"Kill 10 enemies in Firefight or Campaign with a supercombine explosion."---

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: This is similar as the Halo 3: ODST version. Use a needler or a
needle rifle to pump enough needles into a Covenant until they blow up with
pink. Grunts are the best to do this on, but if you use the needle rifle,
avoid hitting their heads as a headshot does not count.

NOTE: If you die before you reach 10 enemies, the counter resets to zero and
you will have to start all over again. If you want the easiest time, do it on
Normal.

-----------------------------A Storage Solution-------------------------------
---------"Use the File Browser to upload a file to your File Share."----------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Easy easy. While on Xbox Live, submit a file using File Share
to be shared on Bungie.net. Bleep-bloop!

-----------------------------An Elegant Weapon--------------------------------
------"Kill 10 enemies in a Firefight or Campaign session with the DMR."------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: The DMR is the Battle Rifle's replacement in this game, a single-
shot gun, but very accurate. Kill 10 covenant with this weapon in one level
of Campaign or Firefight and this is yours. Rather easy.

NOTE: If you die before you reach 10 enemies, the counter resets to zero and
you will have to start all over again. If you want the easiest time, do it on
Normal.

------------------------------An Honor Serving--------------------------------
------------------"Reach the rank of Captain in the UNSC."--------------------

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: As you play through Campaign, Matchmaking and even Forge, the
time you spend in each session, plus how well you did contributes credits to
your ranking. Get enough gross credits (the total amount you have earned
collectively) will increase your ranking. Being on Xbox Live while playing
grants you more bonus points which makes this process go even faster. Don't
worry about spending those credits. The ranking only counts the credits you've
earned, not how many you actually have. So spend away in the Armory.

Captain is rather high up on the list, right after the Warrant Officer ranks,
so you'll have to work at it, but it shouldn't take you a terribly long time.
Captain requires a gross total of 210,000 credits. That last step from
Warrant Officer Grade 3 to Captain is a lulu though.

---------------------------Banshees, Fast And Low-----------------------------
----------------"Hijack a Banshee during the Reach Campaign."-----------------

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: There are LOTS of Banshees in Reach. The problem is how to get
one close enough to hijack. The best opportunity is in Mission 5: Tip of the
Spear. If you want to quickly get to this point, load up the game at Start
Point Bravo. After the Falcon crashes after passing through the barrier, find
a Jetpack gear and work your way up the mountain towards the spire. Dealing
with the enemies on the ground will make things easier, and be sure to deal
with a good number of them on the spire too as they will annoy you a lot.

Watch the skies for a pair of Banshees that drift rather close to the bluffs.
Use your Jetpack to climb the bluffs so you can get within flying range of
either one of those Banshees. If your really lucky, a Banshee will fly so
low that it gets stuck between two rocks for a few seconds. Run to it and
press X to board.

If you're not so lucky, wait for one to fly rather close to you and fly
towards it with your Jetpack. Keep a finger on the X button once you get
really close to it. Keep at it and you should get it.

There is another opportunity in Mission 9: The Package, but because of the
Firefight-like waves of enemies, it's a little harder. Best thing to do is
use a Plasma Pistol Overcharge and knock it out of the sky then board it
quickly.

-----------------------------Be My Wingman Anytime----------------------------
----"Let a teammate spawn on you 5 times in an Invasion Matchmaking game."----

Value: 5 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Invasion is the Spartan vs. Elite gametype where Spartans must
defend the goal from invading Elites. If one of your teammates gets screwed
nearby you, a prompt will come up allowing him to respawn next to you. Do this
five times in one game and this Achievement is yours.

--------------------------------Blaze Of Glory--------------------------------
-----------------"Score 200,000 points in a Firefight game."------------------

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In Firefight mode (a la Horde mode of Gears of War 2), you must
accumulate 200,000 points throughout the entire game to get this. Only real
way to do this is on the harder difficulties where your score is multiplied
depending on the difficulty.

CaseyKenobi gave me this very useful tip: "The reality is they are quite easy,
if only a little time consuming. These can be earned in a custom firefight
match and the only caveat is that you can choose in the options to make your
character invulnerable. Once that is done, you merely have to keep playing
until you reach a million points. You can unlock all four of these in one
session like that (mainly because you will unlock "Game, Set, Match" long
before you hit 1,000,000 pts). Three friends and I, all XBOX Live Gold
members, were able to accomplish this in less than two hours play together;
results may vary solo."

John Th13teen also recommended manipulating the waves to be all Elites for a
higher point score each enemy along since CaseyKenobi's suggestion.

I have confirmed that it works gloriously on solo, but I also got confirmed
reports on this tip from at least three other sources.

--------------------------------Cool File, Bro--------------------------------
------------------------"Recommend a file to someone."------------------------

Value: 5 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Through Reach's File Browser, search Xbox Live for any file.
Download it to your 360, then recommend it to friends. This will appear as an
option just above the Download option. Download first, then Recommend.

--------------------------------Crowd Control---------------------------------
-------------------"Earn a Killionaire medal in Firefight."-------------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In Firefight, you need to kill ten enemies, each one within 1-2
seconds of another. The best way to do this is to use a Rocket Launcher into
a crowd of Grunts and Jackals, assuming there are ten in that crowd, or launch
several rockets into a crowd. Good luck.

--------------------------------Doctor, Doctor--------------------------------
-------"Use a Health Pack to replenish life after taking body damage."--------

Value: 5 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In Reach, you now have a health bar as well as shield bar. If
your shields go out, you have a limited amount of health before your toast.
Your health doesn't always return to full, so in order to keep it full, you
may need to use a Health Pack to restore them.

Find a health pack and press X to restore your health. It's just that easy.

--------------------------------Dust And Echoes-------------------------------
----------------"Complete the 8th mission on Normal or harder."---------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Run through "The Package" on Normal or harder and this
Achievement is yours.

----------------------------------Firestarter---------------------------------
------------------"Score 50,000 points in a Firefight game."------------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Simple really. Score 50,000 points in a Firefight game and here
you go. the difficult part is getting all those points as on lower
difficulties, point values are paultry.

Three friends and I, all XBOX Live Gold
members, were able to accomplish this in less than two hours play together;
results may vary solo."

John Th13teen also recommended manipulating the waves to be all Elites for a
higher point score each enemy along since CaseyKenobi's suggestion.

I have confirmed that it works gloriously on solo, but I also got confirmed
reports on this tip from at least three other sources.

------------------------------Folks Need Heroes...----------------------------
-----------------"Complete the Campaign on Heroic difficulty."----------------

Value: 50 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Complete the game on Heroic and this game is yours. This is a
difficult Achievement as the Elites will make you pay for every step you
take. This can be done in Co-op as well.

------------------------------Game, Set, Match--------------------------------
------------"Complete a Firefight set on Legendary without dying."------------

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In Firefight on Legendary, you're going to have to go through
the entire set (all rounds) without dying ones. Insanely difficult feat unless
you have some really good fellow players.

CaseyKenobi gave me this very useful tip: "The reality is they are quite easy,
if only a little time consuming. These can be earned in a custom firefight
match and the only caveat is that you can choose in the options to make your
character invulnerable. Once that is done, you merely have to keep playing

members, were able to accomplish this in less than two hours play together;
results may vary solo."

I have confirmed that it works gloriously on solo, but I also got confirmed
reports on this tip from at least three other sources.

-----------------------------Gods Must Be Strong------------------------------
--------------"Complete the Campaign on Legendary difficulty."----------------

Value: 125 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Self-explanatory. Complete the entire campaign on Legendary. This
can be done in Co-op to make it easier.

-------------------------------Heat In The Pipe-------------------------------
----------------"Score 1,000,000 points in a Firefight game."-----------------

Value: 75 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: I didn't even know that was possible. Score a million points in
Firefight to get this Achievement. Good luck.

CaseyKenobi gave me this very useful tip: "The reality is they are quite easy,
if only a little time consuming. These can be earned in a custom firefight
match and the only caveat is that you can choose in the options to make your
character invulnerable. Once that is done, you merely have to keep playing

John Th13teen also recommended manipulating the waves to be all Elites for a
higher point score each enemy along since CaseyKenobi's suggestion.

I have confirmed that it works gloriously on solo, but I also got confirmed
reports on this tip from at least three other sources. Now, this took me 3.5
hours. If you want to go at it faster, adjust the waves to either Elites or
Hunters, and adjust your damage dealing to 300%, and enemies resistance to
10%. This will make it faster, cutting the time to less then an hour. This
method was suggested by Xenful.

-------------------------I Didn't Train To Be A Pilot-------------------------
-------"Kill 3 of the anti-aircraft batteries during the 8th mission."--------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In "New Alexandria," destroy three long-range Shade turrets with
your Falcon to get this Achievement. They're practically everywhere, so this
is rather easy to do.

------------------------------I Need A Weapon---------------------------------
---------------"Complete the 4th mission on Normal or harder."----------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Complete "Nightfall" on Normal or harder to get this Achievement.

---------------------------I See You Favour A .45-----------------------------
---"Kill 10 enemies in a Firefight or Campaign session with the M6G pistol."--

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Kill 10 enemies with your Magnum pistol in either Firefight or
Campaign and this is yours. The Magnum has some of its coolness factor from
Halo 1 back, so it's a good weapon to use.

NOTE: If you die before you reach 10 enemies, the counter resets to zero and
you will have to start all over again. If you want the easiest time, do it on
Normal.

-------------------------If They Came To Hear Me Beg--------------------------
------"Perform an Assassination against an Elite to survive a fall that-------
----------------------------would've been fatal."-----------------------------

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: While this is difficult to get, this is one of the coolest things
to do. The easiest way to do this is right at the beginning of Mission 10:
Pillar of Autumn. As you round the cliffside, look down and you'll see an
Elite hovering around a dead truck with a bunch of Grunts. He'll either
venture to the left, the right, or towards you, so aim accordingly.

If you just jump off the cliff from where you are, you will die automatically.
The only way to reach him from the cliff is to do a Sprint Jump (a jump while
Sprint is activated) and then land on top of him.

Now, there is a trick with this. When you run off while Sprinting, you must
turn off Sprint on the way down. If you land on him and assassinate him while
Sprint is active, the Achievement will not be given to you. Also, you must
have absolutely amazing timing in this. As you fall, direct your gaze towards
his back. When your cursor turns red, hold down RB immediately after that. If
you're too late, you may die from the fall, or just a regular melee attack
will happen instead. If the Assassination animation plays, then you did it
right.

This may take several tries. It takes the average player 20-30 tries, so keep
trying at it. If you don't get it the first time, keep trying until you do.

For better help with this Achievement, view this video by RoosterTeeth:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqGxNhmJS7Q

------------------------------Into The Howling Dark---------------------------
----------------"Complete the 7th mission on Normal or harder."---------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Complete "Exodus" on Normal or harder to get this Achievement.
You'll first run into Brutes here, although they are rather pathetic this
time around.

---------------------------------KEEP IT CLEAN--------------------------------
-------------"Kill 7 Moa during the 2nd mission of the Campaign."-------------

Value: 5 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In "Winter Contingency," there are moa running around everywhere.
Moa are the ostrich-like birds in case you haven't guessed yet. Kill seven
of them and this is youts. Boy, PETA is going to throw a ring-eyed fit with
Bungie this time. XD

NOTE: Running them over with a vehicle does NOT count. Melee and weapons do
count. Also, if you die anytime before killing seven moa, the counter resets
to zero, so you will have to start all over again.

------------------------------Knife To A Gun Fight----------------------------
-------------"As an Elite, kill 5 Spartan players in Matchmaking."------------

Value: 5 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Explanation really isn't needed here. As an Elite, kill players
that are Spartans until you get this. Some Matchmaking playlists do not
permit the use of Elites, so be sure to keep your preferred species as an
Elite until you get a playlist where you can use an Elite.

-------------------------------Lemme Upgrade Ya-------------------------------
-------------------"Advance a Commendation to a Silver state."----------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: As you play on Xbox Live, performances with kills add points to
certain Commendations on your profile. Some will be easy, while others
require more strict performances. There are five levels to each Commendation:
Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Onyx. Essentially, keep playing Reach and you
will get at least one of those Commendations to Silver.

-----------------------------------Lucky Me-----------------------------------
--------------"Earn a Triple Kill while Jetpacking in Campaign,---------------
--------------------------Firefight or Matchmaking."--------------------------

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: The trick here is to stay in the air while Jetpacking and kill
three enemies at the same time. The easiest place to do this would be either
Campaign or Firefight. The other trick is finding a crowd of weaker enemies to
do this easily.

One good place in Campaign in right at the end of "Tip of the Spear." After
your Falcon crashes after you pass through the EMP Shield, you will have a
Jetpack utility lying around nearby the dead Falcon. Pick it up and switch to
your DMR. Pick off any Skirmishers and Jackals nearby to make this easier.

Towards the right near the bluffs should be a group of around five Grunts
hovering around each other. While Jetpacking over them, throw a couple of
frag grenades on top of them and it should get at least three of them. If it
doesn't, reload the last checkpoint and try again.

--------------------------------Make It Drizzle-------------------------------
----------------------"Purchase an item from the Armory."---------------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Very easy. Purchase any armor piece from the Armory and this is
as good as yours. For many, this is the first Achievement they get in the
entire game. Since you're given some credits to start with, it's easy to pick
this up from the start.

---------------------------------Make It Rain---------------------------------
--"Purchase an item from the Armory that required the rank of Lt. Colonel."---

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: This will take a lot of patience to get, as Lt. Colonel is the
highest grade group possible in Reach, and that requires collecting a total
of 450,000 gross credits. Once you do get that, you will unlock a set of
buyable items in the Armory. Purchase one of these items and you will get
this Achievement.

------------------------------One Down, 51 To Go------------------------------
------------------------"Complete a Weekly Challenge."------------------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: On Xbox Live, you can challenge yourself to a weekly challenge
set forth by the people at Bungie. The weekly challenges usually involve some
strong performances (one was a complete runthrough of the campaign on Heroic),
so good luck.

---------------------------Protocol Dictates Action---------------------------
----------------"Complete the 3rd mission on Normal or harder."---------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Complete "ONI: Sword Base" on Normal or harder to get this
Achievement.

--------------------------------Score Attack----------------------------------
--------"Score 15,000 points in Score Attack Firefight Matchmaking."----------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In the Score Attack Firefight, you must score a grand total of
15,000 points. This can be done free-for-all, or even collectively.

Since this involves Matchmaking, you cannot do this solo and/or offline. Also,
a custom playlist cannot be brought in on Matchmaking. So you'll have to do it
the hard way.

-------------------------Send Me Out... With A Bang---------------------------
--------------"Complete the 10th mission on Normal or harder."----------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Complete "Pillar of Autumn" on Normal or harder to get this
Achievement.

-----------------------------------Skunked------------------------------------
-----------------"Win a game of Invasion in the 1st phase."-------------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: On Xbox Live Matchmaking, you must win in the 1st round of
an Invasion playlist. The only way to do this is as as a Spartan (defense)--
If you keep the Elites from getting any territories before time rums out, the
game is over and you get this Achievement. Keep the Elites at bay until time
runs out then this is as good as yours. To do it as a Spartan, you need to do
it on Boneyard and be on Red Team first.

Unlike most of the Firefight Achievements, you cannot get this on your own.

NOTE: After finally collecting enough information, you CAN do this as an
Elite. The difference is you have to do it on The Spire and on Blue Team
first.

-----------------------------------Swap Meet----------------------------------
------------------"Trade weapons with an AI ally in Campaign."----------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: As you play on campaign, you will run into a lot of UNSC soldiers
that will be carrying assorted weapons. Walk up to them and press X to swap.
If it doesn't work right away, keep trying until he finally gives the weapon
to you. It can be any weapon you can swap.

NOTE: You cannot trade with your fellow Spartan team members.

-----------------------------Tank Beats Everything----------------------------
-------"Finish the 9th mission on Legendary with the Scorpion intact."--------

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: "The Package" is the only level where you can find a Scorpion,
making it easy not to mix it up. After dealing with the Grunts on the beach,
take your surviving ODSTs to an idle Scorpion. You must take this Scorpion and
go all the way to the doors of Sword Base, completing all the objectives
Noble Leader gives you. Watch out for the Banshees and Revenants; they'll give
you the most hell in this level.

For the easiest time, hang back and try to take out vehicles and turrets from
as far as you can. Some enemies won't see you until you come within range.
Keep in mind that in Legendary, they have almost omniscient observation, so
be careful.

---------------------------------That's A Knife-------------------------------
---------------------"Perform an Assassination on an enemy."------------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: When you are behind an enemy, hold down RB to perform an
assassination. You did it right if the animation plays. Simply pushing the RB
button merely melees them in the back, so you need to hold it down.

In "Nightfall," the game gives you an opportunity to assassinate an enemy from
the start, and even tells you too. If you don't perform an assassination
before now, here you can. Assassinations are cool to watch too.

-------------------------The Soldier We Need You To Be------------------------
-----------------"Complete the Campaign on Normal difficulty."----------------

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Complete the entire campaign on Normal and this Achievement is
yours. This can be done on Co-op as well.

-----------------------------The Start Of Something---------------------------
-------------------"Reach the rank of Corporal in the UNSC."------------------

Value: 15 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: As you play through Campaign, Matchmaking and even Forge, the
time you spend in each session, plus how well you did contributes credits to
your ranking.

Corporal can be attained in just one runthrough of the Campaign, even sooner,
so get to work you slacker. Corporal only requires a gross total of 10,000
credits.

--------------------------They've Always Been Faster--------------------------
-----"Clear the 2nd mission without setting foot in a drivable vehicle."------

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In "Winter Contingency," you will have the opportunity to drive
yourself, Carter and Jorge to eliminate Covenant hostiles. To get this
Achievement, you are going to have to walk the entire way. You will get this
Achievement once you save the UNSC troopers under distress from the Covenant.

----------------------------This Is Not Your Grave----------------------------
----------------"Complete the 9th mission on Normal or harder."---------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Complete "The Package" on Normal or harder to get this
Achievement.

-----------------------------------To War-------------------------------------
----------------"Complete the 5th mission on Normal or harder."---------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Complete "Tip of the Spear" on Normal or harder to get this
Achievement.

--------------------------Two Corpses In One Grave----------------------------
----"Kill 2 vehicles at once with the Target Locator in the 3rd mission."-----

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: On "ONI: Sword Base," there are two Wraiths wreaking havoc
outside the front gates. Just inside the gate, pick up a Target Locator and
wait for the Wraiths to notice you and try to close in on you. If you wait
long enough, both Wraiths will be so close to each other that they will be
touching. Use the Target Locator on them while dodging their mortar fire.

Stay a good distance back while artillery rains down from above to destroy
them. If one doesn't get quite dead, reload the save point and try again.

NOTE: You don't have to get a Double Kill to get this Achievement. You just
need to fire the Target Locator only once.

------------------------------Wake Up Buttercup-------------------------------
----------"Destroy the Corvette's engines & escort in under 3 minutes---------
---------------------in the 6th mission on Heroic or harder."-----------------

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In "Long Night of Solace," you will be flying a Sabre in Reach's
orbit. After defending the station, you will be flying after a Corvette that
is going towards a Covenant Super-Carrier. When you get control of the Sabre,
dive below and take out the engines with rockets (switch weapons with Y), and
hold back on LS to slow yourself down, so you can take out all four engines
in one go. After the engines are dead, quickly go after the Seraphs and
Banshees flying around. Seraphs take the longest, so go after them. USe your
guns to whittle down the shields, then use rockets to destroy them for good.
Banshees are weak so use your guns. The game will tell you where the ships are
eventually, so use those hints to the fullest. If you were quick enough, you
can do it in around two and a half minutes. Mind the Corvette's weapons as
they'll cause you the most woe in damage. The nice thing is that the AI Sabres
are actually helpful in this part of the level on Heroic, so they'll actually
take some down on their own. Now THAT'S helpful.

--------------------------We're Just Getting Started--------------------------
----------------"Complete the 2nd mission on Normal or harder."---------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Complete "Winter Contingency" on Normal or harder to get this
Achievement.

---------------------------What's A Killing Spree?----------------------------
--------------"Earn a Killing Spree in multiplayer Matchmaking."--------------

Value: 5 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In Matchmaking, kill five players in a row without dying. It
doesn't matter how long it takes you to kill five players, but you must do it
in the same round.

--------------------------------Yes, Sensei-----------------------------------
--------------"Earn a First Strike Medal in a Matchmaking game."--------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: In Matchmaking, be the first one to kill an opponant and this
Achievement is yours.

----------------------------You Flew Pretty Good------------------------------
---------------"Complete the 6th mission on Normal or harder."----------------

Value: 10 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: Complete "Long Night of Solace" on Normal or harder to get this
Achievement.

-----------------------Your Heresy Will Stay Your Feet------------------------
------"Kill the Elite Zealot before he escapes during the 5th mission."-------

Value: 25 G
---
WALKTHROUGH: About half-way through "Tip of the Spear," DOT will alert you to
the fact that an Elite Zealot is in the quarry building as you near it. Hunt
him down and kill him before he escapes. He'll play cat-and-mouse with you,
but will stop to return fire once in a while. The easiest place to do it is
at the beginning. Whittle his shields down with something then charge in to
take him down. If he gets outside the quarry building and drives away in a
Revenant or a Ghost, you failed.

The easiest method is the Plasma Pistol Overcharge + headshot weapon. This
even works very well on Legendary.
