This FAQ/Move List was written by Mike Zielinski.

My E-Mail address is globalops21@gmail.com. E-Mail me with questions,
comments, or anything at all concerning this FAQ or Mortal Kombat.

I am aware there is an in-game Move List, but having to Pause the game every
time you wish to consult said list can wear on some peoples' nerves. Hence
the reason for this guide. Instead of having to Pause for button
combinations, print this Move List for a handy reference.

This FAQ was started on Wednesday, March 2, 2011.

~~>Version History:

FINAL VERSION (as of now) - 8/12/11: Added Freddy Krueger's complete Move List
and Fatalities. As of now, the FAQ is complete as there are no other DLC plans
announced. If/when anything is confirmed, the FAQ will be updated accordingly.

VERSION 4.0 - 7/19/11: Added Rain's complete Move List and Fatalities.

VERSION 3.0 - 7/8/11 Added complete Move Lists and Fatalities for the two
released downloadable characters, Skarlet and Kenshi. Rain will be released
July 19th, so expect another update with his moves on or around that date.

*UPDATE* Added descriptions of Kratos' Enchanced Special Moves. Triple
checked all Fatality, Stage Fatality and Babality button combinations as well.
FAQ complete until DLC characters are released.

*UPDATE* Finally added Noob Saibot's Babality making the Fatality/Stage
Fatalty/Babality lists complete. The last thing I have to add is Kratos'
EMS's. That update will be sooner than later and complete the FAQ.

VERSION 2.0 - 4/21/11: I updated the FAQ with Sub-Zero's and Reptile's third
Fatalities as well as Kano's and Kratos' Stage Fatalities. Shout out to the
many readers who E-Mailed me with those button inputs; unfortunatley there
too many to name here. In addition, I added Babalities for: Scorpion,
Sindel, Johnny Cage, Sonya, Kano, Quan Chi, Ermac, Kitana, Jade,
Nightwolf, Sektor, Jax, Baraka, Kabal, Raiden and Sheeva. Again, thanks to all
who E-Mailed me with additions and corrections.

VERSION 1.0 - 4/19/11: The first version of this FAQ is almost complete. I
am, however, missing some Fatalities, Stage Fatalities and Babalities as well
as Kratos' Enhanced Special Move descriptions and damage percentages. If any
of you know these missing button combinations, please E-Mail and I will
credit you in the FAQ.

|I. Introduction|
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~

After almost two and a half years, Mortal Kombat finally brought back
what its diehard fans have been clamoring for: blood, gore and dismemberment.
And with any new Mortal Kombat game comes my accompanying Move List intended
to satiate your need for bloodlust and educate you on the myriad button
combinations needed to pull off spectacular Special Moves and fanciful
Fatalities. Instead of an in-depth FAQ covering all aspects of Mortal
Kombat, this file is intended as a quick reference of all Special Moves
(including Enhanced Special Moves) and Fatalities for each character. And so
without further ado, I present my Mortal Kombat Special Moves/Fatality FAQ.

|III. Individual Character Special Moves/Fatalities|
~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-

~~>ENHANCED SPECIAL MOVES:

Each character in Mortal Kombat has between 5-8 Special Moves each. New
to this installment, however, is the inclusion of ENHANCED SPECIAL MOVES. In
order to pull one of these off, you must have filled your Super Meter to at
least the first of three tiers. Once that condition is satisfied, you are
allowed to "supe" up any of your character's regular Special Moves.
For example, Sub-Zero's Ice Freeze projectile can easily be dodged or
ducked. Sub's Enhanced Special Ice Ball projects a beam across the entire
screen making it impossible to jump over. The Enhanced Special Move is the
the same button combination as the regular version of the move. There is one
small difference, and that is you need to hit Right Trigger on 360 or R2 on
PS3 after inputting the Special Move button combination. So, in order to
pull off the enhanced version of Sub-Zero's Ice Ball, you would input:
Down - Toward - FK+RT/R2.

~~>X-RAY MOVES:

Also new to this version of Mortal Kombat are X-RAY MOVES. In order to
pull one of these off, you must have filled all three tiers of the Super
Meter. The button combination is the same for each character and will be
noted in their respective Move Lists.

~~>FATALITIES:

In addition, each character possesses at least 2 Fatalities with varying
distance conditions - explained below - that must be met in order to pull the
kill animation off successfully.

*PERFORMING A FATALITY*

Mortal Kombat requires you to be a certain distance from your fallen
opponent when inputting the button sequences for a specific Fatality. These
distances are pretty specific and are:

-->Touching: You need to be right next to your opponent, and not a step away.

-->Sweep: You need to be within sweep distance of your opponent as in you
need to be able to sweep them from where you are standing.

-->Far: You need to be at least one jump away from your opponent. The best
way to get "Far" is to get close to them and jump back once or twice depending
on which character you are.

-->Fullscreen: You need to be as far away on the opposite side of the screen
as your opponent. Just keep backflipping until you reach the edge of the
screen.

-->Any: You can be standing anywhere onscreen.

*PERFORMING A BABALITY*

In order to successfully pull of a Babality, you must win the match
without blocking.

*WHAT IS ESM?*

Underneath each Special Move button combination will be the letters ESM.
ESM stands for Enhanced Special Move and denotes the differences between the
regular version of that move and the enhanced version. The additional damage
enhanced versions do is also present.

==============================================================================

*NOTE* Each character in Mortal Kombat only has one Fatality button
combination revealed in his/her Move List to begin the game. You can find
additional Fatality button combinations in the Krypt, however, as long as you
know the Fatality move input, you can pull off the finisher without unlocking
it first. If you input the button sequence for a Fatality without first
unlocking it in the Krypt, the new Fatality will be added to your character's
Move List, replacing the "???."

The characters are listed in the order they appear on the Select Screen.
