Question from codya30
Draining the lake?
Do I need to drain Bower Lake to collect all the items? I don't want to find out too late. It's seems like a cheap thing for them to do but I wouldn't put it past them.
NO. It's not that simple. There are at least four areas that greatly change depending on the decisions you make as king or queen. Yes, you get money for certain decisions but there are additional features to several choices, including the morality for the sake of the chance to explore. Bower lake allows you to keep it the same, people love you. Mine it, people don't like you, get money, open new area (no serious items: keys/weapons), and a quest to drag miners to work.
This is the same for Mistpeak Mountains, people don't like you, add money, open a new quest to drag people to work, no serious items.
This is the same for the orphanage except that it opens a quest called Whorezone, an assassinaton quest.
This the same for the Auroran Mines EXCEPT there is a LEGENDARY WEAPON.
The Auroran Outpost decision opens up a new area at no disadvantage that I can see other than the cost to build it. There seems to be a new chest and dig spot available but nothing special.
So... Now that that I've had to go and replace my school studies with video game studies, and answer my own questions... any additional comments?
