DLC not working?

I got a dlc card which contains the Traitor's Keep but it won't let me play it. It only gives me the quest to buy it. And I know it's there because when I randomly join another player I was with them in the dlc.

Did you Redeem your DLC code?

To check do this.
go to the MAIN/HOME page for your XBOX
scroll over to SETTINGS
Select ACCOUNT
Select DOWNLOAD HISTORY
Scroll down and look for the download

If it is there you can click on it and redownload it again for free, if it is not on your list then go back on page and Select REDEEM CODE
TYPE IN YOUR CODE AND DOWNLOAD IT.

Answer

if it gives you the quest, it should be installed onto your game. If not, sounds like you need to go into your download history and actually download it (inputting the code only makes it *available* for download, it does not actually start it downloading). Follow brandonlahman's aforementioned instructions as to how to get into your download history to download it.
