Do you need catwomen to do the riddler hostage?

I rented the game so i dont have catwomen and that alone makes me really ****** mad and i was wondering do you need her to get all the riddler trophies and do the hostage missions??

Yes, you need her to get the Catwoman only trophies.

No, you can find all of the hostages without the catwoman riddles. The final bit will occur as soon as you find the 400th item. If you do happen to have the dlc, it still happens at 400. I had the side mission marked as solved and still had 32 riddles left to find because of the additional 40 for catwoman.
