Controller Disconnects?

When playing this game the controller disconnects when using the grappling hook. I know of two other people that have had this problem. The problem is not the batteries and this is happening on both of my Xbox360's. Makes the game almost unplayable.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Vodoo - I called tech support for Arkham City and went through their troubleshooting. Nothing worked, but the tech support agent recommended returning the game for a new one. I went to game stop and returned the game (it was pre-owned) for a new game. It now works perfectly. It definitely was not the battery as I already explained.

As for knowing of two others - I was referring to two other posts on forums that had mentioned this issue. I do not know those guys personally.

Just saying... if anyone else experiences this issue and verifies first that it's not the battery, I recommend returning the game to the retailer for a swap. Straight scoop.

It has to be the battery. Are you using AA batteries or a rechargable pack? There is no way that an in-game action could make the controller disconnect from the console. Their wireless frequency isn't a part of any game coding. You might have something causing external interference near your console or near the controller. Is anything else plugged into the controller? Try re-establishing the wireless connection, if you haven't done so already, with the Batman game on. Try getting a new battery pack. I have never heard of this issue and the fact that you know "others" with the same problem makes me think it's something that you guys are doing.
