Outfits in story mode?

I bought the outfits and I beat the main story. Do i have to beat the side missions. All I have left is the riddler challenges and AR training HELP!!!!!!!!!!

If you're asking about using different outfits for batman, I think you can only use them in New Game+... or so people say. Not sure myself, since I only have the catwoman dlc.
