Cannot ignite Bogia Tower...Glitch?

I just need to get rid of one more Bogia influence, but after I killed the captain, I climbed the tower. There should be "Press B to ignite" instruction, but it never came. While on the tower, I thought synchronizing would fix this glitch, but to my displeasure it didn't. Any idea on how I ignite the last tower?

Yeah I'm pretty sure. On the map, the tower was highlighted yellow, telling me to ignite it.

Are you positive the Captain died? Sometimes they run away...

same thing happened to me on an earlier tower. I just jumped off the edge, died, went back, did it all over again, and it worked.
