The success of Q*bert led to being one of the most merchandised arcade games behind Pac-Man. Licensed products included coloring books, sleeping bags, frisbees, board games, wind-up toys, and stuffed animals. A merchandise flyer for Q*bert claimed as many as over 125 licensed products, but many of these products were unavailable as the video game crash of 1983 was hitting North America and the game had begun losing its popularity in 1984.
