So with E3 going this week, there wasn't much time to do any real updating to the site this week. We removed the old antiquated GameSpot news block from the frontpage and replaced it with the Popular Board Topics block. After some feedback, we altered this a bit and added an expanded page with more topics/boards on it. We also added the expanded link to the Message Board Categories on the main board list.
Since there isn't really much to cover, I figured that I'd post some more random statistics since those always seem to be pretty well-received.
Let's look at PMs. So far, 1601888 PMs have been sent. 115655 PMs have been archived. 3751 PMs were sent by 880 users in last 24 hours.
Finally, let's take a look at products (games, consoles, etc). We currently have 185588 products in our database. Here's a breakdown of the various submission types:
56465 FAQs for 21639 products 478963 cheats for 23025 products 127994 reader reviews for 20136 products 19065 save games for 4721 products 359642 screenshots for 25280 products 205593 box shots for 157202 products 14986 videos for 6136 products
There we go, hope you all find those statistics to be interesting enough to make up for the lack of news for the week. We already have a few plans for site implementations for next week, so keep checking here, MBA, Facebook (facebook.com/GFAQs) and Twitter (@GameFAQs) for all of the latest info.
Um, not to criticize science or anything, but wouldn't it be easier just to call it "the pink one"?
