A very delayed continuation of my old series on the theater board. So that we don't have to make two-post threads about new trailers anymore.

Here's the first look at Logan Lucky, Soderbergh's first movie since 2013.

Predictably, it looks great.

Great first look. Now I want a second, much longer look. It'll be interesting to see what kind of box office push this gets, as Bleeker Street has never handled a true wide release before.

I'm happy to see David Holmes's name in the credits. I love his Soderbergh scores.

Robert Greene (Kate Plays Christine, Actress) went on social media today to say he's beginning principal photography for his next movie tomorrow in Bisbee, AZ. Googled for more info and found this.

BISBEE ’17 is a nonfiction feature film by Sundance award winning director Robert Greene set in Bisbee, Arizona, an eccentric old mining town just miles away from both Tombstone and the Mexican border. The story follows several members of the close knit community as they prepare to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bisbee’s darkest hour: the infamous Bisbee Deportation, where 1200 striking miners were violently taken from their homes by a deputized force, banished to the middle of the desert and left to die.

Not sure if anyone cares but there's a trailer for Paddington 2. I surprisingly thought the first was pretty solid.

Me too. Hugh Grant only sweetens the deal.

Terry Gilliam went on Facebook earlier today and announced that after seventeen years, The Man Who Killed Don Quixote has wrapped.

Not a huge Gilliam fan, but there's no denying he's a creative force of nature and his stuff is almost always at worth a look.

That's awesome, I didn't realize it was actually happening. I hope it's great for his sake.

In Universal Pictures’ American Made, Tom Cruise reunites with his Edge of Tomorrow director, Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity, Mr. and Mrs. Smith), in this international escapade based on the outrageous (and real) exploits of a hustler and pilot unexpectedly recruited by the CIA to run one of the biggest covert operations in U.S. history.

Based on a true story, American Made co-stars Domhnall Gleeson, Sarah Wright, E. Roger Mitchell, Jesse Plemons, Lola Kirke, Alejandro Edda, Benito Martinez, Caleb Landry Jones and Jayma Mays.

I hope the trend of Tom Cruise doing dangerous s*** with airplanes continues.

The real guy this is based on seemed to be more of a John Carroll Lynch-type than a Tom Cruise-type.

Cruise keeps gettin' older, and his love interests stay the same age. Alright, alright.
