Everywhere I go I keep hearing this sound that sounds like a turret. Its not constant , by that I mean I will hear the sound and move away from it and then it will sound again just a bit further on. This happens when no turrets are around also. Needless to say its very annoying , has anyone had this problem or know of any fixes ?

Exit out of game completely and reload game. Usually fixes it. Other fix is to resurrect the npc/turret causing the noise and have them/it fire again. It may cause them to reset and the sound won't be around anymore.

It's happened to me all over the place. It could be a raider that got killed while he/she was in the middle of firing their gun. It could be a turret that was firing and got disabled mid firing. It could be your companion who just for some reason sounds like they are continuously firing (usually goes away once they fire the gun again).

Deacon still sounds like a Turret no matter what. Such an annoying bug. ill have to send him somewhere I will never go so i don't have to hear it again. Very annoying and if only Bethesda would fix these bugs.
