Hello,

(I am not a native english speaker).

I decided to do some videos of this game, but like I am a maniac, I want the best quality possible.

You can see some sample here: https://mega.nz/#F!udxl2ZwI!GmdwIqNY1qkyWkqrsiuwTg

I am not an expert, but I have some experience in video capturing.
What I am using :

1) Capture

I use a xtremeCap3 to capture lossless video.
My software is AmarecTV, I use UtVideo encoder.

I don't want to use the encoder embedded in the device capture, because real-time encoding often give mediocre quality. It's better to capture it raw, then re-encoder afterward.

2) Edition

I use sony Vegas to edit video, but I don't use it for re-encoding. Only to cut the video.
I want all video of the same event to have the same length.
You can see in the sample, they have the same length (the same number of frame), and the same keyframe.

3) Encoding

I use Megui and the one-click encoder.
x265 --crf 16 -keyint 60
ac-3 384kbps

The result is not bad, almost like lossless quality.

Now I have some issue with some capture : I sometime have a dedoubled frame.

Don't know the cause but I have some hint.

The ps4 output at 59.94fps, and not at 60fps.
So every 17s, I may have one more frame.
Well it's not noticeable, so I should ignore it, but do someone have an idea how to prevent it?

Do someone know how 59.94fps works?
Do I really have one image every ( 1 / 59.94 = 0.016683350s) ? Or do I have 60fps during 16s, and 59 during 1s?

No point in getting good quality video if the game looks like s***, DOAX3 graphics are not good. Passable thats for sure.

Depends on your capture device settings and also what you're using the render the said video.
HORROR - It's impossible to describe "horror." But one may be able to know it if one tells it quietly...

X3 definitely has the best graphics overall, skin/lighting puts it on top.

Beach Paradise is a nice second, and then Honey Select in third.

The render quality of DOAX3 is actually incredibly good. I don't know why you complain.

Just check this out:

To be fair Honey Select has the advantage of being on PC. This means 4K resolution, 4K texture mods, better anti aliasing, etc etc.

Team Ninja did wonders getting the game to look this good on the weak ass ps4 with 60fps no less. It may not be the best but for the weak hardware that they had to make the game on it looks damn good and of course 60fps. That right there is worth of praise.

90% of the games on PS4 run at like 20-30fps with bad frame timing issues lmao.

I still don't know why "peasants" put up with crap like that. But I guess that's why they call them "peasants" lol. Anyways that's a topic for a whole other time and place xD

You need:

1) Elgato HD60 Pro
2) AmaRecTV 3.10 software
3) PS4 Pro

Set the PS4 Pro to 1080p mode for any enhancements. In AmaRec, set the codec to "other", and LAGS lossless.

Hope you have a big hard drive. I'd upload a sample vid, but 10 minutes is around 40gb.
