Look on the bright side. We got an SRW OG where neither SRX or ATX team are hogging the spotlight. The newer characters all seem to get more time in this game.

I'm not sure but it seems like the game is skipping right past the whinny, "I don't wannna fight" part of Touya's character arc in SRW J so thats will certianly make using him more enjoyable. Also, Touya seems to learn of his origins immediately rather than waiting till the mid season upgrade like SRW J. Thats a nice improvement as well. Its like the Devs decided to fix everything some fans found annoying about Touya in SRW J. How nice of them.

Technically, SRX team never hog the spotlight after OG1.

Take this bit of information with a grain of salt: according to the japanese SRW Wiki site, the COTE final boss' name is actually spelled Kadum Chakham.

If that's true, japanese are pretty bad at spelling his name.

That spelling make sense. It is hebrew.
Kadum means ancient, and Chakham means wisdom or a wiseman.
And the pronunciation make sense too, as long as you pronounce it hebrew like.

Probably late to the party, but I'm a bit sad that there wasn't a true route to allow me to play around with some of the end-game acquisition units more. I was also surprised that there weren't more units in general seeing as how they didn't even bring back the entire cast of OG 2nd to begin with (Missing Masou Kishin pilots among some others).

Though on that note I'm a bit sad that there weren't more surprise units/pilots. Fu-Lu's death still manages to be utterly needless.

And on the subject of enemies, just felt like there were too few of them. The first 3/4th of the game is just the same 3-4 bosses constantly running away it feels like, OG 2nd definitely had a wider cast of enemies and it shows. None of the enemies really felt on par with a threat like Ruina either. Guardisword and Zuvorg just felt like straight replacements of factions that existed in OG 2nd and the rest of your time is spend dealing with the same set of Dark Brain enemies who always run away or the Moon Knights.
