Basically its an older, cheaper, less efficient, and less powerful graphics chip so now it probably will only be able to handle low-end XBONE games

It was never Pascal, that was wishful thinking.

Gamexplain showing their ignorance...

He would have been better of just saying "x source says it'll use Maxwell instead of Pascal," instead of trying to make it sound like a good thing when it is not.

Second, the new architecture doesn't run hotter, what kind of f***ing rock is this guy living under? By being more efficient it runs cooler(uses less power) for the same level of performance.

Third, Pascal wouldn't delay the release of the Switch in 2017, if anything the delay to early 2017 was done for a Pascal based chip.

Maxwell is likely to be cheaper. Which given the Switch's low rumored price point makes it a possibility.

EDIT:
Also, we've had someone that has actual information(multiple leaks) claim Pascal... So I'm not going to throw the other rumor out for one from a completely new "source."
The internet, where people come to be a dumbass.

If it is around PS3/Xbox360 level of power then Switch is dead for me.
I don't need NewNintendoWiiU.

That be pretty dumb if it's true. Pascal is just maxwell on a newer manufacturing node. If they couldn't manage to plan for the newer node that brings numerous improvements including reduction in cost if they went with TSMC 16nm ffc (especially considering maxwell and the X1 is very old) then that's a fail on their part.

That's where the rumour seems to sound like load of crap, considering how much advantages including reduction in costs, as well as the fact that 20nm is gonna get more expensive sooner or later and there's contradictions between what the infamous leakers said.

I guess we can only wait and see. Also, the guy who made the video is painfully clueless.
To be or not to be, William Shakespeare sucks.

This is not true. There's been one and only one leak from someone with a good track record, and they said Maxwell from the start. There are no good sources for Pascal.
