Even if you love Nintendo's games, you have to admit that after this abysmal showing they really are finished as a console manufacturer. Not only is the Switch just a glorified handheld that can be plugged into a dock for easy TV connectivity and a GPU boost, but it also happens to be $300 with paid online and a 2.5 hour battery life.

In other words, even compared to the Xbone it's horribly out of date, overpriced, massively lacking in games, and will no doubt have online functionality that isn't even on par with what the original Xbox had back in 2004. Unless of course Nintendo works some kind of miracle with their online system but that seems doubtful at best considering their priorities (i.e. social gaming and a focus on kids).

So if you are one of those people looking forward to the rather meager list of games they announced, wouldn't you have to agree at this point that they would be better played on an Xbone, PS4, or PC?
