You start the game, you choose multiplayer, then the game kick you out and bring you through your internet app. ( google chrome or firefox etc ), then you click where you want to go. While you wait 40 sec or longer, then you click the battlefiel 3 and you will be brought back to ingame.

It is called battlelog.

Battlefield 4 and hardline does it too. That's why I don't play those ones on pc, that s*** was annoying
