Why is this a thing? Why can't we have two or more headers with the same name? It's making the process of moving my guide from markup to editor quite a pain in the ***. Any way around it that doesn't involve going through the whole guide and renaming every other section?

If headers have the same name, the HTML gets confused when you try and link to them - it can't tell the difference between them. It's really bad for the HTML and causes issues with navigation to those sections.

As for the second part, no. You have to rename these or you can't publish the guide.

The actual link in the address bar is separated by hyphen, so one of the ugly solutions is by replacing one of the spaces within the section name with hyphen.

This is not a proper solution. When the section name gets converted to a more friendly structure for the URL, it'll only keep alphanumeric characters and hyphens. So if you have two sections "Chapter 1" and "Chapter-1", they will both resolve to the same URL "chapter-1". You should be seeing an error if you attempt to make a duplicate header name like that in the editor anyway.

So, the solution is by adding hyphen somewhere along the text? I think it's better if the whole section texts are renamed. Krystal is right.
