Phillip Rivers could have made those same plays had he been throwing to guys like Cruz and Nicks and Plexy.

Eli just strong-armed his way out of SD and now look. Rivers gets screwed in all of this.

So explain how, if it's entirely the receivers who got it done, why Eli is able to do this twice with completely different sets of receivers?

The Quarterback makes the receiver, not the other way around.

Eli Manning is lucky because he has a coach like Tom Coughlin while Rivers is stuck with Norv "Mediocrity" Turner
Claude Julien needs to be fired even if the Bruins win the Stanley Cup - acr after Bruins losing game 4 of the ECF against the Tampa Bay Lightning

Because they're both good sets of receivers? I already mentioned that. C'mon.

Rivers has Vincent Jackson and Antonio Gates.
This sig will not change until J.P. Howell is released or sent down from the Tampa Bay Rays.

Eli is lucky that he's had the pleasure of facing the Pats in two super bowls

so what you're saying is if management surrounds him with talent, then the quarterback is lucky?

ya look at the garbage peyton got surrounded by

they went 2-14 without him LOL. obv the giants are givin eli a much better opportunity to succeed than the colts gave his injured bro
I mean if there's people around its usually a good idea to go semi-deep into the woods so they can't blatantly see your wang, unless of course you are Myst2-LTJ

Eli has a better defense and likely a better coach than what Rivers has in San Diego.
