Good luck with that whole Marlins thing. Atlanta has been tanking (2-8 in the last 10 games), but we're still only a half game out of 1st. And I think the Wild Cards will be coming out of the other two divisions (SF, STL).
Of course this is only a month in. There's a lot of games left.
Good to see the Pirates are back where they belong. Too bad they had to go and win last year, break that awesome record. XD
I am asking for the Marlins to be consistently watchable, first. Baby steps.
"In comparison." LOL.
So did Miami get a gift-wrapped three-peat (TM) this year or what? Everybody else beating the s*** out of each other, while they get the Bobcats. Granted, the best Bobcats team EVER, but still, the Bobcats. The franchise that's never won a playoff game. And now never will, since they'll be the Hornets again. Secretly pumped about that one. Get to dig my old Larry Johnson, Muggsy Bogues, and Alonzo Mourning teal and purples out (and reminisce fondly of wreckin' my friends with 'em on NBA Jam).
This East is the best East we've had in a few season, but you're right. It's still pretty terrible on its own. The Eastern Conference Finals and the Finals are each probably going to be tougher than last season though.
I had fun times with NBA Jam. My main team was Miami's Rony Seikaly and Harold Miner the Baby Jordan but I also used Seattle a lot because Shawn Kemp was one of my favorite players at the time. Yes, pretty much solely because of Slam Dunk contests.
Poor Jose Fernandez
Season ending elbow surgery.
Yep. That ruined my week. I'll still listen in on Marlins games because they have improved on pretty much every position from last year, but really now I'm just biding until next season so I can watch Fernández again. I've yet to see him in-person.
