This comes back on Sunday.

With Mr. Lahey gone, that moves Frank Gallagher up to the #1 deadbeat drunk on TV.

I'm excited

Looking at the cast list for the first episode they have Chinese shop owners and buddhist monks. Sounds like a good shameless episode lol

I knew the principal at Liam's school would be showing him off the second he said he spends a lot of time at the playground.

Shouldn't be a surprise, I mean that's why he was accepted for free.

But the season's off to a great start and it looks like Frank might be on a path toward redemption.

I'm curious why that apartment was so desirable.

Seems like they're finally, slowly, using Liam. Kid's not half a bad actor too
Do whatever the hell you want. What do I care?

he was put to good use as a plot device in S4 too ;)

Great episode though. The last few seasons have been kinda shaky but this is looking good for the future.

For the plot.

As a Chicago resident who's lived in many neighborhoods over the last 17 years, I can tell you that even though that apartment has a unique layout, no Northside hipster or yuppie couple is going to get in a bidding war over a one bedroom apartment in the Back of the Yards.

Have you ever lived in a neighborhood that was up and coming like Bronzeville, Wicker Park, or Ukrainian Village?

I'm from Chicago myself and have been in the real estate game. It's not uncommon for people to be willing to pay more to live in these places. Though I'll agree that the way it was done in the episode was played up for the show.
