When asked about appearing in The Batman, which still doesn't have a release date, Affleck said it's "something I'm contemplating," casting doubt on his appearance in the first solo Batman movie in this new DC movie universe. He went on, adding that nobody does it forever and that he wants to find a "graceful" way to leave the role behind.

How many actors have played batman for more than three movies?

Suicide Squad barely counts since it was a just a cameo.

There's also never been a live action cinematic universe featuring Batman before. Affleck had to know when signing up this was intended to be a 10+ year commitment.

That doesn't answer the question.

The answer is that no one has played Batman in a live action movie more than three times.

Because it a false equivalency. Batman was obviously going to be the Iron Man or Wolverine of this franchise. Affleck knew when signing up he was expected to play the character about 10 times.

This pisses me off more than him getting cast.

Is that in writing? Have you seen his contract?

Why is he able to get out of it now if he signed up to play the character 10 times?

He's really been groping in the dark about this role for a while now.

I did say expected and not contracted.

Again, he had to know looking at the MCU that DC was hoping to do a Justice League trilogy, a solo Batman trilogy, and feature him in at least a few other solo heroes' movies.
