Just 17% of Likely U.S. Voters now say the country is heading in the right direction, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey taken the week ending Sunday, July 24. That finding is the lowest measured since January 11, 2009.

I'd hope that few people thought being held by the short hairs by a rabidly insane minority that wants to drive us into economic ruin with a default is a bad direction.

Wonder how much this would have to do with the Republican-led house that has done nothing towards what they promised (jobs)

All they're doing is pushing a reasonable stopgap plan until they have support for the kind of economic revolution that will heal our once great nation of the damage caused by outrageous Democratic spending.

Pushing for higher spending, government control of health care and giving in to the gays are not part of a "right wing agenda".

giving in to the gays

What the hell does this even mean? Last I checked Obama doesn't even support gay marriage. Unless you are talking about repealing "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", in which case I will just laugh at you for even supporting that.
