Ahahaha the fact that he mentions this is a violation of his second amendment rights.

It's like ANYTHING to do with guns is covered by the second amendment.

Anyways arresting him was stupid. But holy hell ..wow.

I do think it was stupid to get the police involved, but the school was well within its rights to set and enforce a dress code. After all, if he had been wearing something along the lines of, say, a shirt depicting Kenny of South Park getting himself killed over and over (http://www.totallysweet.net/images/manydeaths.jpg), the same thing would have happened, just without the Second Amendment-related complaints (and maybe adding some new ones about the First). All that really needed to be done to the kid was the basic punishment for going against the dress code.

Long gone are the days where I could doodle pictures of guns in my spiral notebook alongside other weapons used across history.

I think if someone tried that today the school system would have multiple aneurysms.

His rights? He's a kid in school. He's not old enough to own a gun. Freedom of speech is subject to certain limitations in school. His rights are not being infringed because he does not have them.

its not about what rights he has its about the school over reacting to something harmless and possibly ruining the kids future.
