So you want the government to hold people indefinitely? Because the reason convicts are released is typically because they've completed their sentence. Are you saying if they've served their time, they should continue to be detained indefinitely on the assumption that they're not reformed?
Some things should automatically be life sentences like murder convictions.

Not what I asked. Again, are you arguing that the government should be holding criminals indefinitely after they've served their time?

It's almost like Democracy or something.

Also, doesn't seem those guys were serial killers or murderers. You wanna give this another shot? You also want to defend why it's ok to execute a guy who clearly didn't get a fair trial?

In this case, they weren't serial killers or muderers, but I've posted plenty of cases before where they were released and go on to murder again.

As far as they guy who didn't get a fair trial, he should be voicing his own complaint for a retrial due to his bad situation.

Little hard for him to do, given he's dead right now.

He did voice the complaint. Neil Gorsuch, Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, John Roberts and Anthony Kennedy said "too bad" and they executed him a few minutes later

He can't do that.

Because he's dead.

Then should they redo his trial after his death to clear his name post death, if they were wrong, it's on the SC Judges, if they were right, then it makes no difference.

They won't. And it doesn't matter to him. Because he's dead now.

You're basically saying a fair trial doesn't matter. Read the constitution recently?

Kind of funny that Gorsuch is supposed to be a originalist, yet ignores the bill of rights

It does matter, but it's up to the people in the court system to do their jobs.

This was depressing. The main reason I am against the death penalty is because of the chance a mistake was made. There have been cases in the past where people have been executed, only to later be found innocent.

Here it seems like they were rushing the execution for the wrong reasons, and at the very least another trial was warranted.
I don't know what fact surprised me most: That the man had shot my cat, that I cared for that cat, or that I had a cat.

His family can still request a retrial to clear his name.

It's been done before with other cases after a person is dead.
