I think it depends almost entirely on what the god is like.

I would try to find out what, if anything, this god expected from me. I would then try to align my behavior with its expectations if necessary.

So a lot could change, or nothing.

If we're talking about the all-powerful Abrahamic type god, I'd start worshiping him. I want no part of that eternal damnation he's serving up.

Nope. If god does exist then he's an ass. I might fear him, but I certainly wouldn't worship or revere him.

I guess any changes in my behavior would be dependent upon whether or not I could find anything out about this God with any certainty.
