His arguments, when singled out, seem disjointed and incomplete but I think that when they're bolstered by one another, as well as his espousal on them and their refutations, they form a rock-solid foundation.

His arguments, when singled out, seem disjointed and incomplete but I think that when they're bolstered by one another, as well as his espousal on them and their refutations, they form a rock-solid foundation.

If the core arguments are junk, then the whole proposition is pretty worthless.

Here's an example.

The Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM) created everything that exists. We know this because He has told us so in His divine revelations.

Anything that appears to be evidence that the FSM does not exist is simply a trick being played upon people by the FSM.

Since we've established this, the only reasonable conclusion can be to acknowledge that the FSM exists, and if you still insist that He does not, then you are being ignorant and dishonest.

[End example]

Now all of that is logically consistent, but it's also founded on bull****. This is what Craig does. Constructs trails of logic from one faulty assumption to another.

It's essentially an intellectual parlor trick, like a verbal sleight-of-hand and (no surprise) it's a tactic commonly used by Televangelists, especially the ones who want your money.
