Because of the disconnect some people have seeing things from the others side's point of view, maybe this will help.

Joe and Jane walk into a room. Joe sees 25 people. Jane sees 50 people. Joe and Jane will act very differently in the room.

Jane witnesses Joe walk right into things he can't see. Joe observes Jane talking spaces that Joe thinks are empty. Joe will step into and trample on things that only Jane thinks are there. Joe sees Jane interacting with people who invisible to him.

Jane thinks Joe is blind. Joe thinks Jane is crazy.

Bill thinks both of them can't be sure of what they see, so he ignores everyone and thinks this makes him less odd than Jane and Joe.

Cletus cracks a cold one and grabs a beanbag chair to watch the ensuing hilarity

Joe wonders if there is any way to verify the existence of the extra people. Jane says "but you have to have faith!"

After discussing what they both see, Jane grabs a person, invisible to Joe, and throws him into Joe. Joe feels the invisible person and has his mind blown. Joe goes to the bar and drinks for the rest of the night.

Joe realizes one of the walls of the room is covered by a large mirror and Jane wasn't paying very close attention.
Live long, be happy, and try to ensure those around you do as well.
