Will it even last 8 years. CardigansFan's s*** box is already falling apart and moderate repairs are starting to get close to the value of the car after only 3 years.

s***, I think I did the math wrong now that I think about it.
But I didn't put my hair in a pony tail for nothing so if I'm going home alone I'm not going at all.

Math also changes when gas is $3.09/ gallon where you live. Or £1.50 a litre.

Imagine being in a situation where you're still making monthly payments on a five year old vehicle that's costing you major mechanical repairs, and you can't sell it because potential buyers are going to see "outstanding fiance" and laugh, and look at the next page of 500 listings for ecoboxes.

Why do you want to lock yourself into something like THAT long term?

It has nice hub caps, though.

Heard the Mirage was pretty s***ty. Gutless, tiny, noisy, and despite the size and lack of power not that great on fuel economy either.

My friend had a mirage. That 3cyl was horrifying when merging lol. Felt like the car was gonna shake apart. For $10k just buy an early C5 and get 30+mpg on the highway :V
