Keep up the good work, as much as I love animals I don't think I could ever give up animal products. I just accept the fact that I'm a filthy hypocrite on that subject.

Yeah, that's one thing that is often vegan. I have seen other things in it on occasion.

That's something I have been doing a lot... reading all the labels on all the things

Kettle corn is a nice snack I can find that's vegan. Oreos are as well.

But mostly lots of delicious fruits. It's easier to not think about a label.

Thanks. I do love animals, and I do want to do what I can environmentally, cutting it out is big. I know this is not for everyone but I'm deciding to act on convictions and try for myself. So far I am pleasantly surprised at the tasty variety of food and low cost of ingredients. All that fiber is a nice bonus.

You should try a variety of beans. You'll need to keep your protein consumption up. I like black beans but they're all good.

I have been eating a lot of lentils which have as much protein as beans (or more). Whole grains have protein. Mushrooms, nuts, seeds... And I have some pea protein powder for smoothies. Easy to get 80g+ in a day with one of those which is much more than needed.

When I can find some tempeh I want to try cooking with it

No, eggs were brought up in the context of potentially making my wraps not vegen. But they didn't contain any.

oh. In wraps the non-vegan item may be eggs, but most don't have them. So it could be a vegan wrap. They usually are.
