can anyone tell me how to make an autoexec cfg file? I am trying to get these settings to be in it:

mat_picmip -10

mat_parallaxmap 1
mat_aaquality 8
r_threaded_particles 1
r_threaded_client_shadow_manager 1
cl_threaded_bone_setup 1
cl_threaded_client_leaf_system 1
mat_antialiasing 16

or you could direct me to a good tutorial for creating a TF2 autoexec. thanks

Open notepad, copy and paste, save and name it autoexec.cfg, move it to the config folder.
That's what she said!

remember to select the type of file to save it as as "All file types"

otherwise even when you save the name as autoexec.cfg, windows will tack on a .txt after it.

it is still a text file in the cfg folder even though it has .cfg at the end
