Im bored and figured a few people might want to check this out. I was trying to explain this to someone in another topic a few days ago and figured i would make a little strat guide type deal in case anyone wanted to see it.
Ok so, this is farming the mobs in pit of saron the most efficient way i could come up with after a bit of tinkering with the place.
Class: Warrior Spec: Prot-Specced into bladestorm Buffs: Battle Shout Total run time: 1.5 minutes
Gather all this stuff up however you see fit (Mobs dont dismount me as prot but they do as fury, odd huh?) http://imgur.com/0I4uc
Drag it all over to where Ick is http://imgur.com/LnYwk
Get behind this piller so you LOS them to you (most important part. It seems this is the only ledge in the place that cant be casted through) http://imgur.com/MUeTv
Do the big deeps!! Pop all cd's+bladestorm, lulz at the damage http://imgur.com/KbZGk
Your lootz! http://imgur.com/ctBGE
So all in all each run takes me under 2 minutes and you get *ON AVERAGE* about 2-300 gold in that 2 minute span once you consider all the cloth/junk/greens/glyph books you will sell. 2-300 gold per 2 minutes?? As if that wasnt good enough, every 20-40 or so runs youll run into battered hilts which sell for anywhere from 10-50k depending on your server.
So yea, thats it for my quick little guide. I do it on a warrior but im sure a good amount of classes can do it, maybe even faster! Give it a shot if you get bored or in between ques or get sick of playing the auction house for a bit. Quick and easy goldz
For sure, but it was a little tricky to figure out how to position them effectively so i figured i would throw out the best way i found. Also, if you dont mind, if you would contribute a better instance to AOE farm that doesnt have any weird breaks/pauses and sheer amount of mobs that drop lucritive epics it would be much appreciated. Thanks Xtra!!
Just took my hunter trogg hunting in deepholm, popped a treasure finder pot, and in a half hour had 30 boxes. Saddly, some lock showed up in the threat form and kept drawing mobs away, so I decided to take a break.
Much, gold, many greens, and enough embersilk to make 5 embersilk bags.
Ah, to be a sandwich artist. To return home each night smelling of blood, sweat, and Parmesan Oregano.
