Once Wrath Babies hit the scene though, well OG wow players are a dime a dozen, and I'll take 1 vanilla wow raider over 15 Wrath Babies. Because that 1 person is so well versed at what it means to be a contributing member of a team, that s/he will outperform the other 15 just out of sheer intelligence

Please. There were just as many idiot raiders back then as there are now...I was in a guild in BC that couldn't get to the end of Karazhan because half the guild was made of stupid, unprepared, horrible players. I shudder to think how a guild like that would be able to attempt something like Elegon or Garalon, even on normal.
