i played a holy pal and resto sham at 85 but once 5.0 hit i just felt overwhelmed with all the new abilities. i got my shaman to 89 and stopped. i'd be happy to reroll a new class but just wondering what you guys think.

you make it sound like disc priest isn't noob friendly in the lower levels which it is. power word: shield is pretty much all you need to use.

Why even bother with PW:S? Just smite spam to victory.

Once i turned my pally holy i felt like holy pally was the easiest thing ever. Once you understand what the heals do you pretty much stand there and instant cast everything. Cant imagine anything being too much easier. Also me and my buddy would play 2's and purposely make the games last as long as possible. Usually the other team would leave since i could heal through anything. That got old quick though.

thanks for the feedback. they just changed the pally abilities and added a bunch with the new talent tree and changed the synergy of the old ones. i was just like "good god i've got more heals and bubbles and stuff i know what to do with." i just liked the nice small group of effective heals from wrath days and miss it.

because usually when people start off like this: "why even bother with X when you can just Y"

it's because Y is even easier than X, in this case... no, PW: S spam is about as easy as you can get, its a whole lot easier to just stand there and slap a shield on someone every once and awhile than to be spamming smite/holy fire in an attempt to keep up with the DPS, especially considering that during the levels where this is a viable strategy, mobs wont last longer than a few seconds each
