I had the opposite experience. <_<
Transferred to a PvE server a few months ago (with a much better community, granted) and I'm enjoying it a lot more.

It's really nice seeing enemy players and not worrying if you're about to get murdered. That being said all of my mains are on PvP servers.
Like I've said before, Allies are like sand people; they scare easily but they will be back in greater numbers.
