Lol no, Disc Priests are more popular than Monks for Mythic raiding. With their 7.2 buffs, they can pull big numbers when in the right hands. But yes, since their playstyle is pretty much the same as before, they are still hated. Monks received significant buffs with 7.2 as well, but in long Mythic encounters or healing intensive fights, they still have mana issues. As long as you aren't going to be taking it to last 3 Mythic bosses, you will be fine with this choice and keep up with other healers.

So overall, Monk gets the vote for worst healer. It isn't desired for all Mythic fights like Disc Priest is.

As for other healers, they are all very close.

Holy Paladin - the only true tank/spot healer, wanted in every group but raid heals not as great as other healers

Super healing intensive fights (like Maiden):
Holy Priest = Shaman > Druid (small difference)

Not too intensive, more spot healing:
Holy Priest > Druid > Shaman

So just go with your preference, they are all quite balanced and wanted. It will come down to your own skill.

mistweaver has nothing unique to make you want it
neither does holy priest but it has the most throughput right now, not that this is important, every composition has enough throughput other than sillyness like triple holy paly or double/triple disc. Heck, if druid didn't have ironbark they'd be lumped in with those two and then I'd prefer to have 3 resto shamans and 1 holy paly, or 2 of each.

disc is actually really desirable, their healing style mitigates many of the hard to handle raidwide damage timings prevalent more than ever this tier. I wish we had one on mythic mistress. The degree to which it simplifies healing that fight frustrates me.

hpaly > shaman > disc >= hpriest >= druid >> mistweaver

you don't really get to pick the healer specs in your guild's team anyway unless you have the bloated rosters of top 25 guilds. You can prioritize new recruits but you're rarely gonna have total control over the specs. You'll end up playing with the players available almost regardless of spec. Players will miss raids at random, or will sit out for tryouts, or will sit for others to get gear they don't need themselves.

Disc is clunky to play and hard to recover when **** hits the fan, but they are by no means on the bottom. In fact given free casts and little movements they can often top the meters in raids. BUT their good numbers do not mean they are not a terrible spec. Priest is my favorite class and I am absolutely disgusted with Disc this expansion.

I don't heal much by any means.. This year for the first time in forever I finally decided to giveit a go and so far my favorite healing spec has been the Mistweaver, which most people on here have claimed to be the most terrible (However I havent put any effort into learning any of the others at max level except for what little I did to get the artifact weapons.)

In what universe is healing per second important? It's not DPS. Healers are all way too close to be judging them based on tiny differences. You judge based on utility and type of healing.

The only misinformation is your own post. Switch that to Mythic and you basically get what I wrote in my post. Scrub!
