Did trial accounts exist during vanilla?
I wish I made $400k a year to spam Twitter with nonsense and go golfing in Florida every other weekend....

Not in the form they existed in now.
I will rule the world, and find that truly good cup of coffee.

Wow, the amount of people who want to deny others something that costs them nothing is depressing.

Did trial accounts exist during vanilla?

I remember my vanilla box came with two free trial keys, plus I got another every time I bought a 60 day time card. It wasn't the unlimited free trial that we have today though. I don't remember the exact conditions of what you could and couldn't do.

I wouldn't have a problem with it if somebody wanted to experience the classic starter zones. I can't imagine it being any fun past that though unless they ease up the social restrictions. It'd be too hard to find a group for group quests and dungeons unless the servers are just packed.
Every time I try to go where I really wanna be it's already where I am, 'cuz I'm already there

I say it should be free after buying a base game. No Subscription or reduced subscription.

If I had my way they wouldn't actively be working on it so just whatever server upkeep there is and some profit.
Currently Playing: Zelda, Breath of the Wild (Master Mode)
Thoughts so Far: Amazing game, playing Master Mode now.

You used to be able to buy 14 day trial discs for like $3.

Ya, that's how popular WoW used to be. People used to PAY to play the trial xD.
I think trial discs came with the game itself plus if you bought the season of South Park with the WoW episode you got a trial disc.

Classic will likely be part of the expansion package. If you don't plunk down $60 for the expansion after BfA then you will probably not get Classic.
If you have to use force...use Shining Force!
