Anyway, it's now been listed in the latest Gamespot preview that there will indeed be a mode in the new HP that is police-free, for those racers out there that are too timid to face us. Quick-bump here. As it turns out, based on an article that I read, racers may indeed be able to drop spiked traps, at least in offline play. But I still don't think they can call in choppers to do it...
It does look quite similar, and it even has the little road there indicating the shortcut before the loop. I really hope they re-create more areas like that, in a remake of the NFS3 or High Stakes tracks.
